    'Pink' scents

Tamora is my number one pink! it's a carnation pink pencil skirt paired with a baby pink cashmere sweater, it's the tip of the tongue peeking out of a freshly-lipsticked smile... it's my 'I Enjoy Being a Girl' scent Aglaea is a great pink for the summer... warm ripe pink-and-yellow peaches fresh from a roadside stand, that almost overwhelming heady sweetness; pink like the flush on your cheeks after dancing the summer nights away, damp and dangerous. I also loved Hermia, and I still haunt the BPAL etsy page hoping to get lucky and catch a bottle.

    CCNow Questions & Problems

Same thing happened to me! I think perhaps they "checked" to see if the money was there, but didn't actually charge (see the above msg. re. charges) My order was placed on the 19th, so they haven't gotten to it yet :S

    Dilution and Carrier Oils

Had something similar happen to me, mixing with fr. coconut oil... separation! Would using an emulsifier help, or is that only used mixing oil and water? I got a bottle of polysorbate20 in anticipation of making linen spray...

    Frumious Bandersnatch

BOOOOOO!!! I was so excited about this scent! We were going to be soulmates and have lots of little scent-babies together... but it was not to be. In the bottle: mmmMMmm, sweet and spicy! As soon as it touched my skin, it morphed into Xmas potpourri... the kind you find stuffed in a corner at the craft store in April, and it's all dead inside > I'm going to go cry myself to sleep now...

    Aeval

Yay! My first review Imp - First whiff reminds me of something… but I don’t know what! It’s a clean smell, not musky: the bottom note is very subtle, and the mid & top are blending really well. Not foody at all, reminds me somewhat of incense maybe? Clean, but a sea-swept sort of clean, hint of stone perhaps Wet - There was a brief sweetness that faded quickly, and now I’m getting some sort of refined musk or incense. There’s still that familiar note that I can’t quite place. Dry - This scent has a throw like a professional shot-putter! I put it on about a half-hour before leaving the house, and I had to roll down the windows and hang one arm out to alleviate the olfactory pressure in the car. I still liked the smell though, just too much. Of course, I also slid the full wand against my wrists instead of dotting... note to self: a little goes a long way! I found myself randomly sniffing my wrists and smiling throughout the day, and now, 10 hours later, I can still smell it warm on my wrist:) The verdict? Warm, almost amber-y (I guess musk+tonka=amber?), good throw... definitely something to dot on for a night of flirting and fun, but perhaps too strong for everyday wear.

BPAL Fruit Blends - the many variations

No love for Frumious Bandersnatch? I'm still waiting for mine to arrive, but couldn't resist the description: If you've ever sniffed a carnation, you know that spicy, cinnamon-y scent! Check out the reviews on that (under Mad Tea Party)

    My Second BPAL Order

Ooh, Black Cat is lovely! Although I wish we weren't quite so compatible... I don't really get to enjoy the scent on its own before it assimilates completely! I'm envious of your "kitty" haul... is it my imagination, or was there a Sekhmet scent somewhere on the site? I wrote it down, but I can't find it :S <---- hallucinating scent, apparantly

    My First BPAL Box!

My friend/enabler had a Jack-imp... smelled of popcorn to me! LOL, I guess just as everyone's body chem is different, so is the sense of smell! What do you think of the others?
