Grape hubbabubba

Wow all I get was booze! Which make me VERY ill.
-
Is there a scent that has the fresh grape scent (gah NOT the faky bubblegum smell) that ISN'T a boozy wine?
-
Well snake oil doesn't do anything for me. I think the patchouli is too much in any form for me. The vanilla is nice, but I prefer some of the other blends over this one.
-
I got this as a frimp in a swap. At first the pumpkin was VERY strong. Almost overpowering, which is saying a lot since I'm such a foodie. Then it died down and the peaches cinnemon and spices came out. Oh I"m in autumn heaven. It reminds me of punkie night. So yay for a GC substitute! I haven't tried them side by side, but they're close enough to keep me happy.

I like how warm this one smells. It's very comforting and foodie. (A big plus for me) But I think the it's the almonds that give it a really dark sweetness. It reminds me of syrup somehow. I didn't get any of the boozyness, I don't know if it's because I didn't sniff it close while it was wet or I've just gotten an aged bottle. Not something I want to wear every day, but quite nice.

I'm another person that's not overly fond of pine scents, but there's something sweet and wild that keeps me sniffing my wrist. Pine and cedar are definatly at the forefront, but there's a sweet deepness that I really am enjoying.

Punkie Nights smells like fresh apple cider and reminds me of Aamotts apple orchard at harvest time! :wau2: That's on my horde list!

Roses and leather. Feminine yet powerful.
-
Wow this one is complex. I get aquatics and mint. A slight hint of chocolate (always a good sign) but yet not enough to drown out the other notes.
-
I think my nose my be wonky or I'm sniffing by memory now, but this one smells like dark chocolate with orange/grapefruit in it. I know it's a hit when I can't keep my nose off my wrists.

This is the reason I love the lab giving frimps. This one is so bitter on me, I'm glad that I can pass it to someone else. Bitter and medicinal green.
-
I got this one as a frimp from the lab. It's quite heavy in the pine/masculine scent for me.
-
Sea and the ocean. However this goes to soap on me. It's a lovely clean smell but it's just not 'special' enough to wear as a perfume. I was hoping for more of a salt tang. *sigh* I may buy a big bottle just for the name. None of my namesakes are working out

Ok, so how exactly do you milk a dragon? Heh. I LOVE this one. Of all the dragon's so far this is the best. The vanilla is there but not overpowering 'HI I'M VANILLA' There is a warm roundness that just is lovely.
-
This was almost all sandlewood on me. Which is a good thing because Dragon's Blood usually turns into 'dirty diaper'. As it dries down there are some subtle flowers that come into the mix. I like it.
-
Fruity dirty diaper. Ugh. I think I'm narrowing it down to the Dragon's Blood that does NOT do well with me. I read all these reviews and WANT WHAT YOU HAVE! *sigh*

Apples and almonds on top of pine trees. When will I learn that pine NEVER comes out well. I now have apples and almonds over cat pee.
-
Woody and earthy at the same time. It also reminds me of the cabinets in my grandmothers house (we used to hide in them) So this is one of the earthy scents that I actually like, just by the association. However I don't think I like it to big bottle proportions.
-
I don't get any of the honey scent. Though it's a lovely light fragrance.
-
This smells like I'd think a sleeping draught should. Roots woods and almost an evil stink. I had to wash it off, I couldn't wait for a dry down.
-
Chocolate and orange. I wanted to eat the bottle (yes I know the lab strictly advises against such actions) This one says nice and thick chocolate all the way through dry down. With that lovely orange aura. Not overpowering or cloying.
-
I don't like this one as much as it's pair. The amber is a bit more pronounced. This is the more serious side of the twins...if that's possible. It feels darker where the other was all light and bouncy.
-
Very soft scent. Almost no throw at all. I can always tell when I get one that does...my officemates revolt. But this one is very light vanilla. It also flees as quickly as its namesake.

Not quite Turtle Soup: blurry aquatic notes, with a confusing, contrary splort of iris, ambrette, green apple, vodka, white mint and a squish of lime. Aquatic apple. This one is light and sweet. I get a very faint note of mint in the background. Yum.
