In the bottle I can smell the patchouli quite easily with a faint woodsy undertone - can't make out either the sandalwood or frankincense really, but it's making me smile. (Red patchouli, I'll admit, is one of my favorites as it is much easier on my poor nose than black.) Wet, I'm still smelling like yummy patchouli and resisting the urge to blow off work to lie under a tree and listen to the Dead. Even though I've not put a lot on it's still quite strong, but fortunately I don't seem to be asphyxiating anyone nearby. Dry, the patchouli's faded and the frankincense is the strongest. I'm not smelling much of the sandalwood at all, which is a shame as I love sandalwood too. About 4 hours in it's melded into something I can't describe but it is very nice and, while much weaker I get occasional whiffs of scent. Right up there with Old Glasgow as one of my favorite scents at the moment.

    Gluttony

In the bottle, this smells like a hazelnutty chocolate - almost like Nutella but with a sharper hazelnut edge. Wet, it turns into something a bit chocolate-y and spicy. My husband says it smells somewhat like gingerbread, and I'm wishing dearly I had this scent when my cubicle at work was a giant gingerbread house this past Christmas. Dry, the hazelnut's creeping back, and I'm still getting a little of the spicy-gingerbready scent with faint undertones of chocolate. Over the time it's taken me to write this (darn this having to /work/ nonsense) it's faded a lot, but at least I can still smell it a little. I think I've just got to find a good way to transport the imps I like so I can reapply when I don't feel like going the scent locket route. But this is yummy!

    Depraved

My nose is still quite untrained, so I'm still trying to figure out what things are smelling like but this one is actually quite clear to me so here goes nothing. In the vial the apricot and patchouli is mixing, creating something with a hint of spice and dirt. Doesn't seem very strong, but I try and be conservative anyway - my nose is rather sensitive. Wet, much much stronger than anticipating. My husband comments that I smell like a Strawberry Shortcake character. The apricot has almost completely overwhelmed the patchouli, but there must be something affecting it as the apricots smell overripe - as if they are about to burst. Dry, still quite strong. I'm starting to get a headache so I had to wash most of it off. Now there is a very faint smell of apricots, just enough to smell yummy - especially since some got into my hair when I put it on my neck. This seems to be lingering longer than the one on my skin. All in all, probably not something I'd wear often unless I perfect putting on a minimal amount.
