The intoxicating perfume of exotic incenses wafting on warm desert breezes. Arabian spices wind through a blend of warm musk, carnation, red sandalwood and cassia. wow, this is great! as some have previously noted, this is quite similar to Dior Addict perfume... but much better! it must be lacking what i didn't like in the Dior. it also has more staying power. it's soft, creamy, spicy and sweet but not cloying. absolutely beautiful. i'll be getting a big bottle for sure. i'm also very happy to have found a love in the general catalog scents, because so far i've fallen mostly for limited edition scents.

oooh, this is great. this is one of the first BPAL scents that i've tried, and is actually the reason why i ended up placing an order. in the bottle it's a sweet floral - it definitely reminds me of candied blossoms, atmospheric smoky nighttime, and cotton candy. on the skin it stays sweet - and as it dries, the floral mellows out a little. you can really smell the smoke/incense in the drydown. it ends up sweet soft smoke and sugar. sadly, i've never smelled the original midway (but i will be trying to track down at least an imp!!), but i can imagine the sweet funnelcake note in it when i smell MotM. this is a really unique and gorgeous scent. to my nose, it's a bit similar to Viktor and Rolf's Flowerbomb, only less 'commercial' and fruity smelling. and about $70 cheaper and longer lasting, i might add. i lovelove love this scent! cartoony, sugary, smoky beautiful floral.

wow. this is my first ever BPAL purchase and review - i'm waiting for an order but i found this one on ebay. i wanted something for the meantime, and the description sounded completely unlike anything i have, so i went for it. so glad i did - i love gardenia and white florals and have worn them in the past. but kindly moon is different, because this feels like white floral and is so seamlessly blended that it's hard to figure exactly which. it has a gorgeous coldness that's grounded by the fruitiness (peach, i think). to me, it goes in an out of feeling warm and cool. wet, it smells more juicy, like fresh fruit, and seems to dry down to a more floral and creamy scent. this is a beautiful scent, and would be perfect for hot weather, but i won't hesitate to wear this year-round. this oil is potent and seems to last very well on me. i used the tiniest little dab! if all of the black phoenix scents are so concentrated and long-lasting, i will be veryvery happy. i'll update when this dries down completely.
