In the bottle: Old Spice, with a hint of something else... On me: CAT. And flowers? But not good, clean, sun-warmed cat fur. No, this is ol' one-eyed, one-eared Tom blessing the flowerbed under your window on a hot summer night. AND I CAN"T GET IT OUT OF MY SKIN!!!

Oh my, Oh My, OH MY! The GF and I have found something we both love on me. Big Red meets Beeman's Clove chewinggum, the dragon's blood providing the needed extra sweetness. Wore it to dinner with my mother and the GF and received several compliments. One item to bear in mind: DO NOT apply immediately after shaving. Little more of a burn than I was really looking for
-
Oh man, I love this... so naturally it turns the GF's stomach. Beautiful mix of dragon's blood, musk, and patchouli, with just a touch of cinnamon. Not noticing the vetiver though. I'm sure this will get compliments at the club, but given the GF's reaction I'll have to apply after I go out the door and shower as soon as I get home.
-
First off, let me say that my only prior experience with dragon's blood was burning it... not the incense, I'm talking icecube sized chunks of resin straight on the coals. Given the description, that's what I was hoping for... First sniff on opening the bottle: Yep, that's dragon's blood. Like I just took the lid off the resin jar and snorted. No sign of the smoke or leather though. On me: Dragon's blood all right, with a touch of something sweeter. Not exactly what I was expecting, but nice. Six hours later: Still hanging in there. The scent has changed only slightly, kinda like a dragon's blood fabric softener. Overall I have to say that while it's not what I was hoping for, it's worth keeping. The GF has given it her seal of approval, so I may end up ordering more down the line.

I LOVE IT!!! (unfortunately the GF hates it.) No big surprise there. I like patchouli and musk and she doesn't. The smilie was made to go with this scent. Earthy, dark, spicy, menacing, and overwhelming, while still being strangely attractive. Numerous compliments, but "too dangerous to take home." One lady described it as "that guy you flirt with at the party, then find out his girlfriends have a habit of disappearing." As much as I like this, it looks like there's little point in my buying some... One more note: this scent is powerful and VERY long lasting. I applied this before I went to the club last night. It's been 28 hours, I've put in a 10 hour day at work, had 2 showers, and the scent is still with me. A little of this will go a very long way.

Very nice. Warm and spicy. The ginger is definitely the dominant note in Aries, while the black pepper and frankincense keep it from being foody. Received several compliments from ladies at the club. Smells more masculine than unisex to me, although it would be excellent for a few red-headed hellions I know.

Tried this for the first time yesterday. Smells like amber and citrus on me, with a hint of vanilla coming from somewhere. Quite nice. The GF says it might even be better than Villain. Probably would have gotten dragged into the bedroom but we were already running late. Unfortunately, what we were running late for was a family function, so while I did receive several compliments on it they weren't the reaction a guy is really hoping for. Lasted all day even though I was sweating to death, so it should last all night at a club. When and if a decent club opens in this state again I'll update this review.

Wore this down to the club tonight...good choice. Every lady who gave me a hug proceeded to take a second (third in some cases) sniff. Very well received. Masculine, powerful, and longlasting. Kind of a warm woody patchouli. Ladies desribed it as protective and comforting while be sexy... like curling up with your SO after life, the universe, and everything has dumped on you. I like it enough I'd wear it even without the female response. Definitely going to be getting more of this.

For the sake of reviews I wore this one to the club the other night. First thing I noticed upon wearing was spicy orange and rose. Not really a men's scent, more something for a man to wear after it's been rubbed off of a woman. Turned my GF's stomach, unfortunately, so that's not going to be happening. Got several of the ladies at the club to sniff and give me their opinions. They all agree that while it smelled good and might work for some of the more androgynous guys at the club, I had too much testosterone to pull it off. Several of them did express interest in it for themselves, so I'm going to bring the Imp with me next Monday. I'll keep you posted...

I have to be honest, my expectations were VERY low for this one... I mean, come on, lavender?!? and lilac?!? in a men's scent??? No F*ing way... shows what I know I actually like it. No notes that I can pin down, but just a nice scent in general, something I'd be comfortable wearing out and about. What really sold me was my GF's reaction: " You, me. Bedroom. NOW" She says it triggers that whole "nose-crotch connection." About a 9.5 on a scale of 1-10. If this scent walked by in a bar she'd have to get up and follow. And I'm not allowed to wear it if I go out clubbing without her. Also ran it by a couple of male friends after I made it out of the house... general consensus is that every man should own some of this. EDIT: Forgot to mention that it faded to nonexistence after about 4 hours. May have to carry an Imp to reapply when going out for an all-nighter. Update:Let a friend of mine use this before we went to the club last night. He's a great guy, but tends to be incredibly shy. Stuff worked wonders for him... the mistresses were passing him around as the playtoy of the night.

Ummm... Thanks, but no thanks?

This started out as a very nice spicy citrus ... then it reacted with my chemistry 5 minutes after putting it on it started to turn HEAVILY floral with a chemical note, after an hour it was like two full cans of Lysol in a florist shop. Stopped by to see a friend and actually overpowered the reheated fish chowder. On the bright side, my girlfriend likes it straight out of the bottle and wants to try it in her oil diffuser, so we may get more of this at some point.

Hang in there Elizabeth. And take all the time you need to recuperate. As for TMI and over-exposure to estrogen, I've dealt with far worse by choice. It's amazing what you hear at parties if you spend most of your time giving backrubs...

Personally, I think the set up is good as is. I found the "mens list" exactly where I expected it to be.
