Dark Alice

Alas, This apple is not for me. It smells like a green honey crisp apple on my skin. And that's all. No vanilla bourbon. No clove. No Nothin. I am going to keep this for another couple of days and then smell it again...if it continues to be like this...it is going up on the sales block.

ETA: After giving this a day to rest, the other notes become apparent. It starts off as a green apple, and then the vanilla bourbon and clove poke through and then poof, my skin eats it. I think aging will help this greatly b/c right now it has no staying power at all.

Wet: I swear as I live in breathe this smells like Reese's PB cup on my skin. Fruity Reese's butter cup.

Dry: The woman of Satan smells fierce. Light red musk, no caramel, vanilla infused amber, and no black leather . This woman is truly the baddest bitch in town and she knows it. Not strong at all. Very light, close to the skin but damn if it is not sexy!!!

This is absolutely beautiful. The light sweet powdery of tonka calms the patchouli of the dragon and the oak just rounds it out beautifully.
This scent is so well blended that I can't believe the notes listed. I just adore it! So, so glad I bought it.

Wet: Fresh Lavender and green leaves. Fresh green leaves that you would find a child rolling in a pile.

Dry: Lavender and green leaves. It's uncanny how realistic this is. Puddin and Beth: thank you for sharing your memories of Lilith with us through scent. This is beautiful.

Wet: Rum candies and caramel ahoy!!! With the barest hints of tobacco poking through.

Dry: Lovely rum, tobacco, caramel, and vanilla. It is so nice. I am going to let this settle some more so I can decide whether to keep it but so far it is winner!!!

This starts out smelling like liquid vanilla you buy from the grocery store. Then dried it still holds that vanilla note and goes to fortune cookie incense. I adore this...but a bottle is probably all I will ever need.

Light cotton candy, peppercorn, and vanilla cream with the barest hints of apple.

This is my kind of scent. Light, sweet, and fun.

Smelled like savory sage chicken on me....brined in green tea while wet. The wet stage lasted a longggggg while. Then I had green tea and myrrh. But the Green tea was too much. Glad this is going to a new home where it will be loved.

Animalic 1: HOT DAMN! It is the brown leather from Hunter with musk. I adore this!!!

Animalic 2: Civet and something clean with musk. Not sure on this one yet. But it is interesting. I love Chaos Theories!!!!

Oriental 1: Creamsicle, incense, white leather. That's it. The white leather note gives me a headache. So off to a new home it goes.

 

Oriental 2: Sweetness. Vanilla, with a drop of anise and some incense. Maybe Benzoin, vanilla anise and incense but definitely Vanilla and anise. Off to a new home for this one as well.

This champagne is giving me a whopper of a headache. It has got to go. *sigh*

I amp sage. Sage is savory on me. It smells like the roasted sage in roasted chicken. I should know better. But I don't. I had the super hope of joy and awesomeness that this scent would drown out the savory roasted sage note with all the lovely balsam, vanilla, and mint. Well...it didn't. I smell like a Vanilla Mint Roasted chicken. I think Vanilla Ice probably ate this during his career to stay relevant for so long. So here we are...vanilla mint roasted chicken. I wonder if that was the original title of "Ice, Ice, Baby"?

This smells like old Bourbon, Jack Daniels, and Wild Turkey was splashed on my Skin. Oh my god it's dark...and as it dries...the vetiver it gets worse. This has got to go!

Definite Catholic Incense vibe. Contemplative and boring. So glad I got a chance to try this...and realize I don't need more.

This is just a beautiful brown musk with myrrh and a dash of red musk purring in the background. It doesn't last very long...but that's okay. It's amazing and I am a slatherer. There is the barest hint of leather in here...but mostly musk of glory! I love it!

This is the one that was NOT SUPPOSED TO WORK!! Lillies? HAHAHA? White musk... YEEAHHHH RIGHT!!! But it works!!! The lilies make a very brief appearance and then disappear! The musk takes over, the vetiver and plum dance this wild and beautiful jig on my skin and then BOOM! Gorgeous plummy musk! I love it.

I cannot believe I have never reviewed this. This is scent is the essence of BADASSERY. Black musk and motor oil. Only a dab will do me as I have learned that too much of it causes a whopping migraine. But little dabs last all damn day. It's my kick ass court scent. It inspires me and reminds me in a weird way that I am a kick ass lawyer (which I am) I am just from the streets of Baltimore...not Detroit.

Gore shock. Smokey, burnt,flesh. Sky city after, smoky,asphalt as if a demon is rising from the pit

Capela Dos Ossoss v5. Hot, dry, bone. I love it so much. And Arabian nights (not the Tal) Arid, fragrant dry desert incense.

I guess my bottle is batch different. Fresh white rose with barely a touch of resins. I like it..but I don't think I *need it*.

Creeper dragons smells like creamy green leather. Meh. Glad I got to try it though.

Light plum and floral plum blossoms. Not a drop of vetiver in sight. If you love floral, lightly fruity scents...this is for you.

This is the year of the perfect smut. It is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect. Doesn't go to sweaty balls on my skin, lightly sweet, with a touch of booze. I love this. Will be buying a bottle.

If you like gooey marshmallow mixed with coconut thrown on top of popcorn. This is the scent for you. Way too sweet and foody. I amp all the marshmallow and coconut!
