  1. L'EAU DU CHAGRIN
French Lavender, rose geranium, white rose, vanilla orchid, benzoin, and carrot seed.

You know... I never keep a bath oil when I order inquisitions....but with this stuff this I think I will be making an exception. Lavender and rose geranium are the two strongest notes. The vanilla orchid barely makes an appearance but it does briefly waft in and out. This is so relaxing and calming. I think I will keep this and use this as a sleep aid b/c the lavender and geranium smell completely amazing. It's also soft without being harsh and intrusive. This truly is an amazing scent. :wub2:

  2. Wet: I don't smell a damn thing. Weird!

Now dry...this blooms into one of the sweetest resins I have ever tried. The dark musk blends with the frankincense, with the clove, and honeycomb. It's just so sweet and dark and delicious. I hope this ages well and some of the sweet mellows but overall...this is a keeper.

  3. This has potential. Due to calendar issues...my skin is making the black musk SUPER lemony while wet. BUT...when dry the ceylon cinnamon comes out and the lemony black musk goes away and leaves this gorgeous black musk/ceylon cinnamon sex doll on my skin. I think I will age this one a bit and then come back to it. B/c this is going to be even more amazing than it is now.

  4. Normally I would never have bought this...but I mixed up the bottles of what wanted from the seller with a Dust of Snow. I am so glad I did. This smells like winter cold and midnight on my skin. Cool winter wind with hints of pine and night. I always think that the times of day have a scent to them...and this smells like midnight to me. I just love my bottle and I am so glad I made this mistake. :wub2:

  5. SCROOGE'S APARTMENTS
They were a gloomy suite of rooms, in a lowering pile of building up a yard, where it had so little business to be, that one could scarcely help fancying it must have run there when it was a young house, playing at hide-and-seek with other houses, and forgotten the way out again.

Darkness is cheap, and Scrooge liked it: dust and darkness, a spoonful of gruel, and a low fire burning in the grate.

This smells Dark and Cold with the barest hints of smoke from a fire. If you have ever seen the animated version of the Scrooge tale, his apartment is always painted in dark blues, grays, and other dark colors. Beth captured those images perfect in this scent. I don't think I will purchase this as it makes me feel cold. But it is truly beautiful.

  6. This is gorgeous. I am always looking for more lavender scents to add in my rotation of sleep blends and this one doesn't disappoint. The lavender is the strongest note here...juicy and powerful. The lilac smells clean and fresh but it is barely there. From wet to dry down the lavender and lilac are the dominant notes. This is beautiful and I think I will pick up a bottle. :joy:

  7. This is the prettiest lily scent I have ever tried. It's smells just like a freshly picked lily in spring time. There is no orange zest, or carnation present here at all. Once it dries the lily dies down and blends beautifully with blue musk and then just like magic Poof! It fades. I think I will keep this decant for the spring..but I won't need a whole bottle.

  8. Fresh from the bottle: Leather with hints of green papyrus. (I know how fresh paper smells) It then dries down to this wonderful dusty, fresh papyrus scent with hints of leather. I think it brown leather. Either way...I don't care...this is gorgeous!

  9. This just has way too many notes going on and not blending well on my skin.

Wet: I individually smell the gardenia, honey, and rose. But these are the dominant notes and they don't blend well for some reason.

Dry: Gardenia all the damn time with rose following in the close second. No vanilla, no pear. Sigh...I had such high hopes for this one.

  10. I couldn't find a thread for this so here goes.

This smells like orange candy that is artificially flavored with pumpkin. And I amp the pumpkin to high heaven. So not a fan of this. This needs to be re-homed stat. AND...I just found out I spilled half of the dang imp in the bag it was in. :rasp:

  11. This is the lavender incense version. It's just lovely. This goes on with a strong lavender and incense with the barest hints of sweetness. It's almost like there was supposed to be cheesecake and honey in this...but it didn't quite make. I just love it. And this will be worn quite a bit during the winter months. :joy:
