Wet: Cat pee and mint.
There is something in this that evokes cat pee. I don't know what makes the ammonia come out but it does...and it's gross. MUST GO AWAY NOW!
-
Wet: Chamomile is smacking my nose around and shoving raw pineapple up my damn nose.
Dry:Gorgeous. Everything just swirls around into this gorgeous scent! There are no individual notes screaming at me anymore. I love it. I need to find a partial. I just...just love it. Just glorious.

2012 version: This version is more lemony than the 2009. The musk is prevalent, the cacao is definitely prevalent. The powdery note that I love in the original is lessened here. Glad I got the imp. I can use it to refill my bottles after aging it for a few months.

There is no damn way that this should work on my skin. While fresh and wet, it's sickly cologne, oak, and Jack Daniel's. But then once it dries...it smells like a smoky, boozy, delicious man. What I am imagine Josh Brolin from Gangster Squad to smell like. :yum:I am keeping my decant. It's too sexy not to keep. And a decant will last me a life time.

Minty, slushy blueberry. It reminds me of the Dessicated berry perfume but with a cold note too it. I do enjoy the decant...but that will be enough for me.
-
This one made me sad. It starts off as gorgeous sexy red musk. Then morphs into sexy red musk and black leather. (Ah...the good old days!) And now...just nasty, funky, honey. Not a fan. I may rehome it or I may keep it.

Resinous, gorgeous myrrh....with just the right amount frankincense. Sadly...I am amp the rose in this so I will only use it up the decant b/c otherwise...this would be a big bottle purchase.

Wet: Vanilla with rum..yum!
Dry: The rum comes out and stomps all over the vanilla. However, it does smell like vanilla rum. I think I will keep my bottles to age and I have a feeling that after a few months this is going to be amazing!

King Mandarin is a refreshing, tart, opulent citrus oil. The scent is uplifting and cheering and creates a strong sense of well-being. It is a relaxing fragrance that promotes sensuality through delight.
Fresh: Orange peel. Fresh Orange peeled from the top so you can still smell the greenest part of the orange and the peel.
Dry: Flat, long lasting, strong orange mixed with a lot of peel. Not a fan. So glad this is going to a new home. -
Smooth, dark, sweet, and sexy. While wet! Dry: Smooth, dark, and resinous with a hint of powder. Just like I like my myrrh. This is a keeper.

Rose. Not the soft sweet kind. This is the angry, lover betrayed, roses scattered to the damn floor rose....and nothing else. This rose is trying to bitch slap my sinuses. But I won't let it. Off to the sales page with ye!

Spooky Victorian Manor=Wretched Rose Window! There is something just off about the dust, violet, and rose in it. It creeps me out when I wear it.
-
Gross fishy incense. The incense from Midnight Mass which is lovely mixed with some kind of off putting fishy perfume. Beth nailed this one perfectly. But it is horrible on me.

Coffee, lovely cologne, books, and leather. This is what I get. I smell so damn good I get compliments on this often. It's one of the few bottles this year that is worthy of a back up.

IRANIAN GALBANUM
Iranian Galbanum possesses a complex tart, green, resinous scent that is strangely amorphous and mercurial. There is a balsamic woody tone to it at times, and at others, it appears metallic and aldehydic. Galbanum corresponds to the Fool and the element Air, and embodies the qualities of innocence and surrender. The scent is calming and meditative; the oil can be utilized for self-reflection, initiating new beginnings, and soothing wounded souls.
This is a harsh green, piney, resinous scent. I could smell it all the way from the package. It's like having a pine rubbed in your face with a harsh resin. It is so gross and just blech! I am so glad I got to try it but there is no way I am going to hold onto it. -
Adding Thieves Rosin to this list. It is a gorgeous slightly sweet resin. I adore it. I worship it. And I recommend it highly.

Wet: This water reminds me of the water note in Water Phoenix.
Dry: Thankfully the Water Phoenix note burns off and it becomes this wonderful, queerly, bright vial of effervescent water. I do enjoy this...I will need a bottle. And that is all. Fin.

Wet: Gorgeous wet rosin. I mean fresh rosin, with woods, and a little bit of musk that turns cologney on me.
Drydown to the final drydown: Gorgeous rosin, with a hint of woods, and a bite of cinnamon on my skin. As soon as the the cologney note burned off (which didn't take too long) I was in heaven. Will need a bottle of this stat to add to my RPGs.

Wet: Lightly scent almond rum cake.
The almond is very light but it does smell delicious...and now I want almond rum cake.
Dry: The tonka comes out and blends, and swirls, and twirls with the rum and is just gorgeous.
Final drydown: Tonka, sweet, light tonka with a light rummy note. Simply Delicious!
I need to buy multiples of this!

I have to agree with SSDB. Dark, animalistic, and delicious. This is a scent I can get behind. The myrrh is smooth and reminds me of Panther Moon without the powdery note. I do like this...but my 1/2 bottle will do me just fine.
-
Wet: This smells just like the original 2007. Dry: The vanilla is definitely more musky and the pear is extremely light. I really enjoy the original better and I am glad I have it.

I get no coconut from this. Just bad ass patchouli and honey with a blast of bad ass leather. As it dries the vanilla comes out more to softens up the leather a bit. This is just damn gorgeous. But I still wonder if I need two bottles.
-
Oddly...this is the one I wanted to work and it didn't. The combo of French vanilla and Jasmine made my stomach turn every time I smelled it. I am glad that it has a new home but I was definitely not a fan of this one. ETA: Every review is correct as far as I am concerned, there was no lemon verbana in this blend at all.

Foodie Chaos! Sweet, foodie chaos on my skin. I love it but it's not bottle worthy.

Orris root, golden musk, and ambergis. This perfume is gorgeous and light and made perfectly for me. I smell each individual note and then I smell how they blend together on my skin. I adore this scent and I am so glad I took a chance on it.
