    Metallic scents

The Neil Geiman Tarot: The chariot! Sucha gorgeous metal scent. I feel like I am sitting in a brass and silver chariot when I wear it. And it lasts all day!

    Deserted Theater Atmosphere Spray

Cracked oak beams, sagging, moth-shredded velvet curtains, beeswax and streaks of ancient greasepaint, shadows of broken props, a memory of tobacco smoke, a discarded ballet slipper, and a broken marionette. This is a favorite. I smelled red leather, like the old theater, mahogany and other wood.I love it.

    Fortuna Restitutrix

The Fortunes of Warriors: She Who Restores, She Who Brings the Soldiers Home A hymn for the safety and good fortune for soldiers, and a prayer to bring them home: leather, sweet clove, and olive blossom. This is such an interesting scent! Fresh brown leather, clove, rubbed with Olive blossom. It smells high class. I smell like I imagine a high class 17th century Courtesan would smell after spending a delightful evening with a French Soldier. I don't know what to do with it..but it is fascinating.

    John Watson

Tweed and crisp linen, lime-tinged aftershave, the sleek steel and oil of a well-cared for service revolver, and a memory's echo of a Jezail bullet shell. Watson is a smooth operator. The lime, after shave oil, and linen blend into a sweet yet subtle perfume. I love it. It can be a little powdery at first on my skin...(my skin amps powder) but don't be afraid. This mature, critical thinker, is definitely a delicious man to be reckoned with. I am sure...that layered with Sherlock...this will be the perfect scent.

    Eyes Skyward, Eyes Shut

Gorgeous. Lemony, vanilla frankincense. Oddly, this combo of scents works well on me. It was worth a back up bottle for sure.

    Eve (With Sage Fuck Up)

Eve w/Sage Fuckup on my period: Eve with enhanced rose and spices. Eve w/Sage fuckup normal: Smells like Eve put a rose in her hair and decided eat sage rosemary chicken on my skin. Never fails. I am so glad this is going to a new home.

    Gnome

GNOME An explosive blend of effervescent golden ginger and black peppercorn with sarsaparilla, gurjum balsam, nutmeg, gear lubricant, and smoke. Hot damn! A ginger I can wear!!!!! This smells like a sweet spicy ginger ale with smoke and black peppercorn! I think the sarsaparilla gives it the fizzy kick. I just love it. From wet to drydown...that's all I get. This is pretty good....and also a right day kind of scent....meaning if I wear this on the wrong day...it will make me sick. A little bit goes a long way! I am going to have to get a bottle in the next order. I can't wait to play with this one and mix with the other RPG scents!

    Apple IV

Red apple with blackcurrant bud, black clove, and vanilla bourbon. Alas, This apple is not for me. It smells like a green honey crisp apple on my skin. And that's all. No vanilla bourbon. No clove. No Nothin. I am going to keep this for another couple of days and then smell it again...if it continues to be like this...it is going up on the sales block. ETA: After giving this a day to rest, the other notes become apparent. It starts off as a green apple, and then the vanilla bourbon and clove poke through and then poof, my skin eats it. I think aging will help this greatly b/c right now it has no staying power at all.

    Fortuna Populi Romani

The Fortunes of the People A hymn to the fortunes of your community, the blessings of civic duty, and the strength of many voices becoming one. Smoked vanilla sandalwood and leather, golden oudh, ambrette seed, caramelized patchouli, a single thread of saffron, and a sprig of crushed juniper. Proceeds from the sale of each bottle of Fortuna Ropuli Romani benefit the ACLU, who helps to ensure that the voice of the people is uncensored, unsilenced, and heard. There is no Juniper in this..thank the Lord. It's all smoky vanilla and oudh with patchouli and ambrette seed. I don't smell any saffron either. It's a great public speaking scent. I will be wearing this in court as it gives me a such a sense of confidence.
  10. Black terebinth, tamil nadu sandalwood, frankincense, black chestnut, and myrrh. Wet: Smooth myrrh, frankincense and chestnuts. Dry: Something unbelievably pleasant and gorgeous. The pine peeks out for just a minute and then it is fades beautifully with the rest of the notes. I love it!

    The Small Brown Cat

This is the only cedar bpal scent I have. It's warm, mildly sweet with vanilla musk and a touch of fuzzy cedar and cardamom. I adore this scent and makes me think of my fuzzy babies.

    Bast

There was a girl. He had met her somewhere, and now they were walking across a bridge. It spanned a small lake, in the middle of a town. The wind was ruffling the surface of the lake, making waves tipped with whitecaps, which seemed to Shadow to be tiny hands reaching for him. - Down there, said the woman. She was wearing a leopard-print skirt, which flapped and tossed in the wind, and the flesh between the top of her stockings and her skirt was creamy and soft and in his dream, on the bridge, before God and the world, Shadow went down to his knees in front of her, burying his head in her crotch, drinking in the intoxicating jungle female scent of her. He became aware, in his dream, of his erection in real life, a rigid, pounding, monstrous thing as painful in its hardness as the erections he'd had as a boy, when he was crashing into puberty. He pulled away and looked upward, and still he could not see her face. But his mouth was seeking hers and her lips were soft against his, and his hands were cupping her breasts, and then they were running across the satin smoothness of her skin, pushing into and parting the furs that hid her waist, sliding into the wonderful cleft of her, which warmed and wetted and parted for him, opening to his hand like a flower. The woman purred against him ecstatically, her hand moving down to the hardness of him and squeezing it. He pushed the bedsheets away and rolled on top of her, his hand parting her thighs, her hand guiding him between her legs, where one thrust, one magical push . . . Now he was back in his old prison cell with her, and he was kissing her deeply. She wrapped her arms tightly around him, clamped her legs about his legs to hold him tight, so he could not pull out, not even if he wanted to. Never had he kissed lips so soft. He had not known that there were lips so soft in the whole world. Her tongue, though, was sandpaper-rough as it slipped against his. -Who are you? he asked. She made no answer, just pushed him onto his back and, in one lithe movement, straddled him and began to ride him. No, not to ride him: to insinuate herself against him in series of silken-smooth waves, each more powerful than the one before, strokes and beats and rhythms that crashed against his mind and his body just as the wind-waves on the lake splashed against the shore. Her nails were needle-sharp and they pierced his sides, raking them, but he felt no pain, only pleasure, everything was transmuted by some alchemy into moments of utter pleasure. He struggled to find himself, struggled to talk, his head now filled with sand dunes and desert winds. -Who are you? he asked again, gasping for the words. She stared at him with eyes the color of dark amber, then lowered her mouth to his and kissed him with a passion, kissed him so completely and so deeply that there, on the bridge over the lake, in his prison cell, in the bed in the Cairo funeral home, he almost came. He rode the sensation like a kite riding a hurricane, willing it not to crest, not to explode, wanting it never to end. A desert wind alight with myrrh and golden amber, cardamom and honey, bourbon vanilla and cacao. Wet: Cardamom blended with honey. Dry: hints of honey with gentle billows of cardamom. I am waiting for this to settle more so that the cacao comes out more. But so far, it's my first honey scent that I can wear with out it going stinky on me. In short, I love.

    Dragon-Smooched Snake Oil

I thought this would be a good try and then I would find it a new home. NOPE! This is sweet play doh/snake oil with soft honey, a punch of patchouli and a warm river of dragon's blood when wet. Dry: It is a lovely sweet, soft, baby dragon with honey and patchouli breath. This bottle is lovely..and will be loved in its new home.

    La Femme de Satan

Nikolai Kalmakoff Red musk and cacao with clove, caramelized tobacco, aged patchouli, red currant, black leather, and vanilla-infused amber. Wet: I swear as I live in breathe this smells like Reese's PB cup on my skin. Fruity Reese's butter cup. Dry: The woman of Satan smells fierce. Light red musk, no caramel, vanilla infused amber, and no black leather . This woman is truly the baddest bitch in town and she knows it. Not strong at all. Very light, close to the skin but damn if it is not sexy!!!

    Trois

All of these are notes of win. This bottle did not disappoint. White rose with ambergis. Simply elegant and gorgeous on me.

    Cock Stamen

I smell like the song Coca Cabana honestly. Having watched a Vegas dancer lip sync this song with the bright orange dress, blue headband, glittery lights, this is what I imagine she smelled like. Exotic florals with a splash of glitter. It's rare that a scent evokes an image from my past, but here it does. It was a lovely memory from my time in Vegas with my husband. It makes me sad now that he is gone, so it will go off to a better home where it will be loved.

    The Pleasure of Aristocratic Women

When I had my engagement party, I was given a punch with apricot brandy in it. This smells like it plus coconut with drunk amber in the background. I am sad. Another Luper fail.

    Hyakki Yagyō

This was a heart breaker. Every note should have been a win. Except it smelled like a coconut got drunk in a goth club and threw up on my skin. *sigh*

    Pink Fuzzy Handcuffs

Oh Lord No! It has a wonderful cotton candy note, but the rose is the kind that I am allergic too. I just had to take a hit of an inhaler. Off to the swaps this goes!

    Hyakki Yagyō

I am so sad. I had high hopes for this one. But something about the smokey clove bud is turning the glorious musk, myrrh, and black coconut into a funky, rancid coconut stench. So glad I tried that decant before I got that damn bottle.

Woman Dragging Her Aroused Lover Across a Bridge

I get none of these notes. Just generic woman's perfume with wood. Off it goes to a better home.

    The Vampire Bride

THE VAMPIRE BRIDE "I am come-I am come! once again from the tomb, In return for the ring which you gave; That I am thine, and that thou art mine, This nuptial pledge receive." He lay like a corse 'neath the Demon's force, And she wrapp'd him in a shround; And she fixed her teeth his heart beneath, And she drank of the warm life-blood! And ever and anon murmur'd the lips of stone, "Soft and warm is this couch of thine, Thou'lt to-morrow be laid on a colder bed- Albert! that bed will be mine!" - Henry Thomas Liddell Icy skin touched by a perfume of violet leaf, white tea, olibanum, elemi, myrrh, wormwood, crypt dust, and saffron with a dribble of blood red musk. The first to review this... Wet: Red musk and the it disappears and White tea from the Unsteady Governess with the barest touches of violet begins to appear. Drydown: White tea, violet, with a dribble of red musk! Mircalla and the unsteady governess had a love child. A beautiful soft, close to the skin sexy as hell love child. The myrrh keeps it grounded and the wormwood is almost non-existent. This stuff is amazing...I see a back up in my future.

    Haunted Seas

A gleaming glassy ocean Under a sky of grey; A tide that dreams of motion, Or moves, as the dead may; A bird that dips and wavers Over lone waters round, Then with a cry that quavers Is gone—a spectral sound. The brown sad sea-weed drifting Far from the land, and lost; The faint warm fog unlifting, The derelict long tossed, But now at rest—though haunted By the death-scenting shark, Whose prey no more undaunted Slips from it, spent and stark. -Cale Young Rice Seaspray and flecks of foam welling with opoponax and labdanum's sepulchral moans. This smells like grey days on a ship. No wooden floors or tar or pitch. Just the scent of warm grey sea spray and the wind in your face. It's. amazing. This will find a new home in winter and possibly summer rotation this year.

The Wolves Howled, The Ravens Screamed

Solid pine forest with a hint of chilly wind and the scent of earth and fur. Very evocative and oddly comforting.

    Abandoned Car Atmosphere Spray

Cracked, peeling leather, creeping sheets of corrosion, exposed wires, and congealed pools of motor oil. There is something completely creepy and off about this scent. A scent of metal, old oil, and wiring runs throughout with a hint of old car grease streaked through old leather. Definitely glad to try it...but since my decant exploded everywhere in my package, I now know it's definitely not for ,me.
