This smells like a Pumpkin Spice Snickerdoodle on me. I get no frosting. Only sugar cookie with pumpkin spice on it. I want to eat this. This is a bad idea to keep this as it makes me want cookies.

Slightly sticky, sweet caramel apple. Green apple at that. Accurately depicted. So glad I got to try this!!

Pencil Shavings, Wood, burning eraser from when you rubbed the eraser to fast as a kid and it got hot...but it smells just like it...and graphite. This is one of the most provocative scents I have ever tried. So glad to get an imp.

Cloying heavy peach blossoms. This one gave me the biggest headache. I am so glad it's on its way to a new home.

Alas...The French Lavender is all I amp in this. I am so sad as this sounded wonderful. I smell like fancy, french milled lavender soap. Good for some...too floral for me.Off to the swap pile.

SCROOGE'S APARTMENTS They were a gloomy suite of rooms, in a lowering pile of building up a yard, where it had so little business to be, that one could scarcely help fancying it must have run there when it was a young house, playing at hide-and-seek with other houses, and forgotten the way out again. Darkness is cheap, and Scrooge liked it: dust and darkness, a spoonful of gruel, and a low fire burning in the grate. This smells Dark and Cold with the barest hints of smoke from a fire. If you have ever seen the animated version of the Scrooge tale, his apartment is always painted in dark blues, grays, and other dark colors. Beth captured those images perfect in this scent. I don't think I will purchase this as it makes me feel cold. But it is truly beautiful.

SACRIFICE (based on Del Howison's short story The Lost Herd) The scent of a vampire cowboy: Sweetgrass and tumbleweeds, cedar and white sage, dusty, wet leather, woodsmoke, and blood. I don't see a thread dedicated to this mods...but if there is please delete this post haste! Wet in the bottle: Cologney leather....and it's very strong. Drydown on the skin: Saddle worn leather....not like the leather in dead man's hand. This leather note is stronger...it smells like older saddle worn leather. And the cologne blends nicely with. It started out strong but now it gently fades in to the background. There is also something in this that reminds me of night. Nothing minty, but there is a cooling note mixed in there somewhere. Overall: This smells like Eric Northman as a cowboy and coming from a long midnight ride. It's delicious and I am so glad I was able to get a bottle of it.

This starts out smelling like liquid vanilla you buy from the grocery store. Then dried it still holds that vanilla note and goes to fortune cookie incense. I adore this...but a bottle is probably all I will ever need.

Light cotton candy, peppercorn, and vanilla cream with the barest hints of apple. This is my kind of scent. Light, sweet, and fun.

Accords of castoreum, ambergris, and civet! Leathers and musks ahoy! Animalic 1: HOT DAMN! It is the brown leather from Hunter with musk. I adore this!!! Animalic 2: Civet and something clean with musk. Not sure on this one yet. But it is interesting. I love Chaos Theories!!!!

Smelled like savory sage chicken on me....brined in green tea while wet. The wet stage lasted a longggggg while. Then I had green tea and myrrh. But the Green tea was too much. Glad this is going to a new home where it will be loved.

Would someone post the bottle art for Bleep or Black Bar?

These thoughts supported my spirits, while I pursued my undertaking with unremitting ardour. My cheek had grown pale with study, and my person had become emaciated with confinement. Sometimes, on the very brink of certainty, I failed; yet still I clung to the hope which the next day or the next hour might realise. One secret which I alone possessed was the hope to which I had dedicated myself; and the moon gazed on my midnight labours, while, with unrelaxed and breathless eagerness, I pursued nature to her hiding-places. Who shall conceive the horrors of my secret toil, as I dabbled among the unhallowed damps of the grave, or tortured the living animal to animate the lifeless clay? My limbs now tremble and my eyes swim with the remembrance; but then a resistless, and almost frantic, impulse urged me forward; I seemed to have lost all soul or sensation but for this one pursuit. It was indeed but a passing trance that only made me feel with renewed acuteness so soon as, the unnatural stimulus ceasing to operate, I had returned to my old habits. The moon gazed on my midnight labours: Moroccan musk, black opium poppy, clove, and orris root. First to review this. So here goes nothing! Wet: Soft but strong musk, which smells almost clean to me. (I guess that's what Morrocan musk smells like) with dry hints of orris. Dry: Musk, barely there clove (which I hope will get stronger with age) and orris root. This scent evokes a dark image for me. It is a scent for those who do bad things in the night, even if they think they are doing those things for the right reason. It's rare for a scent to evoke such an image from me. But this one does. It's purely clean, soft, and there is no poppy here and barely any clove. I see this being a frequently reached for bottle b/c I love the concept and the scent. However, I can see why it was hard on Beth to create scents attributed to the Frankenstein story.

Oriental 1: Creamsicle, incense, white leather. That's it. The white leather note gives me a headache. So off to a new home it goes. Oriental 2: Sweetness. Vanilla, with a drop of anise and some incense. Maybe Benzoin, vanilla anise and incense but definitely Vanilla and anise. Off to a new home for this one as well.

This champagne is giving me a whopper of a headache. It has got to go. *sigh*

Red bush tea, vanilla, white peach, golden amber, mandarin, lotus root, and myrrh. I can't believe I am the first to review this. This is just absolutely beautiful. All of the notes blend together to make a soft, slightly fruit scent. The white peach and golden amber blend gently with the red bush tea leaving you with a soft red fruity tea scent. The Lotus root gives this a slight perfumey quality that keeps wafting in and out with the peach and amber. The mandarin is barely there. The myrrh keeps everything in check and as I said before...keeps it soft. Not powdery....just soft at least on my skin. I now see why this is called unveiled. It invokes the image of a woman running a soft, silky scarf across her face. This scent is truly a winner and I am glad to have a bottle.

I amp sage. Sage is savory on me. It smells like the roasted sage in roasted chicken. I should know better. But I don't. I had the super hope of joy and awesomeness that this scent would drown out the savory roasted sage note with all the lovely balsam, vanilla, and mint. Well...it didn't. I smell like a Vanilla Mint Roasted chicken. I think Vanilla Ice probably ate this during his career to stay relevant for so long. So here we are...vanilla mint roasted chicken. I wonder if that was the original title of "Ice, Ice, Baby"?

HATTIE TAYLOR’S HOUSE OF ASSIGNATION ATMOSPHERE SPRAY The establishment at No. 111 Spring street is a house of assignation kept by Hattie Taylor. It is a third class house where may be found the lowest class of courtezans. It is patronized by roughs and rowdies, and gentlemen who turn their shirts wrong side out when the other side is dirty. Balding suede, oiled leather, swarthy cologne, rough oak, and darkwood cinnamon. Leather heaven. That's what this is. Soft gorgeous leather, with barely any cologne and just a hit of cinnamon. It's amazing. It's like a sexy young Liam Neeson came in my house smelling of rugged leather gave me a kiss on the cheek and left me with the leather smell of himself all over my house. I adore this.
