Of all the scents that spoke to me, this was it. Not only were the notes gorgeous, but the image of Puddin and Lilith reminded me of my own dad and I when we would sit on the bench and watch the clouds go by. That comfortable loving silence is something I truly miss and I was grateful to be able to obtain a scent to remind me of that. Wet: Dorian, daemondrops and lavender. It smells like Lilith Victoria without the Snake Oil to balance it out. Dry...same. Aged Dorian is wonderful on me. Fresh tends to run sour on my skin. Final Dry down: The soft Vanilla helps this scent immensely. Sadly, this will need aging before it becomes gorgeous on me. But it's definitely worth the wait and I am glad that I bought the bottle.

Jan de Bisschop Blackened tonka, patchouli, dragon's blood resin, and scorched oak. This is absolutely beautiful. The light sweet powdery of tonka calms the patchouli of the dragon and the oak just rounds it out beautifully. This scent is so well blended that I can't believe the notes listed. I just adore it! So, so glad I bought it.

The Lake of Forgetfulness: a deep, still pool of lavender, aged benzoin and patchouli, frankincense, and sorrow-honeyed ylang ylang. Deep beneath, there is a touch of fig's sweetness and amber's golden light. The ylang ylang makes this powdery...but overall it is truly a beautiful scent. Frankincense, benzoin, and the lavender swirl together in a wild dance with the ylang, ylang and crescendo higher and higher while wet. Dry...this scent crashes into a beautiful ylang and amber scent on my skin. Not a lot of fig here but I think some aging will help with that. This will truly be a beautiful scent once some of the ylang ylang settles down. I just got this bottle today so right now it and the amber are the loudest notes on my skin.

Light, sweet, whipped french vanilla. I have had this before in a very expensive French dessert with a custard undertone. This satisfies my sweet tooth for any and all sweet vanilla foods for the day. Get thee some while ye still can!!!!

This is just beautiful. The patchouli started off rough but, it has dried down to the most beautiful, ambrette, patchouli, orris scent. This is a must have.

This is gorgeous. The frankincense is indeed close to the skin. And the rose is so subtle. This is a wonderful skin scent. A bottle may indeed need to come home with me.

How dark, rooty patchouli with honey translates to sex with a Vegas lounge singer from 1973 with CHEAP AXE COLOGNE on my skinI will never know. But it does. I am sad. This has got to go.

I am sad about this one. I smell like Spicy pencil shavings. UGH. Off to the sales pile with you.

This is the sexiest unicorn I have ever smelled. Tobacco, vanilla, and golden oudh. Heaven...just heavenly, sexy unicorn!

Plaster and spraypaint, mottled with buttermilk - sweet, chalky, and edging on sickly. White and golden amber beams of daylight pour through the belly of the scent, while oakmoss and Spanish moss add a touch of decay. Have you ever been in a hot, sticky, congested environment? Like in an old house with no air, or an old warehouse or garage with no air, and it is in the dead heat of summer? That's what this smells like. I have an instant scent memory from sniffing this of when I was a kid and went to my Great Aunt's home, it had no air conditioning, it was congested, and smelled like plastic (she kept plastic on the furniture). It was so hot, that I felt like I was choking. I had to go outside to get some fresh air. That's what this smells like...just add a hint of chalk. How Beth got the chalky note right...the world will never know. But it is dead on. This is how I imagined the vacant apartments smelled in the candyman movie. Esp. when the main character goes through the door with the drawing of Candyman on the door. This scent is so creepy...and evokes such a strange and horrible memory that I have to take it off never, EVER wear this again.

Rum-flavored candies, caramel, pirate tobacco, sugar cane, and vanilla beans. Wet: Rum candies and caramel ahoy!!! With the barest hints of tobacco poking through. Dry: Lovely rum, tobacco, caramel, and vanilla. It is so nice. I am going to let this settle some more so I can decide whether to keep it but so far it is winner!!!

Wet: Sexy banana with a hint of banana notes and vetiver doing a dirty dance on the floor. Dry: The banana has left the building folks! She is gone and all that is left is the vetiver and cocoa. But they are barely there!! One minute...it's love the next, poof! Gone. I am going to have to track down a bottle b/c this is glorious...I just wish it lasted longer.

I am so annoyed. This reformulation is missing Snake oil. On my skin, it's all mint all the time with a drop of green tea and a half a drop of snake oil. I will have to pass this on.

Ted's interpretation of the Blue Moon. This is the scent of star-crossed love, folly, and passionate lunacy: white mango, French lavender, orris root, fig leaf, ylang ylang, mugwort, styrax, oakmoss, camphor, and black opium tar. Absolutely gorgeous! From wet to dry: this smells like a pale blue moon floating over the deep blue sea with the barest hints of lavender and fruit and opium tar. It is so wonderfully light and beautiful. I highly recommend it.

It's warm sandalwood on me. Not much more. Not much less. I am grateful to have the bottle...but I won't need more of this one.

This started out as a lovely, gentle sweet floral. This is what I wanted Mouse's Sad Long tale to smell like. Then poof! The vanilla sugar is gone and replaced by sweet pea. Like a flat sweet pea soda without the carbonation. The sweet pea stole the sparkle in this. Sadly this goes off to sale.

This smells expensive and golden. It really reminds me of the evil Queen in Snow White and Huntsman. Decadent, incensy, golden and powerful. So glad I have a bottle.

Smells like heaven. But it starts out like hell. Wet: There is something in this that burns the back of my throat. It's just harsh and burning. Dry: It's like this lovely, dry, sweet pipe tobacco blooms on my skin. It's amazing. I got a decant today and had to order a bottle. It's just that good. So glad I tried. it.

At first, Gorgeous plum and tea. Dry...nasty, cherry blossom air freshner. Bleh.

On me this smells like Tattered Lace is involved in a sex party. Sweet, slightly sticky, with a hint of florals. Not a fan. But it is very pretty.

Autumn cider smells like pure apple cider. The spice is stronger. Have you tried other Apple scents? Apple is one of my favorite notes, so if you ever have a question on Recommendations, just let me know.

Cologney but in a good way. I think I need a partial of this but no more or less.

This smells like fresh ink and paper off the press. Old fashioned printing press...but a press and paper nonetheless. And the rose is just off. Good Lord.

The saffron in this upsets my stomach something fierce. UGH. I can't even bear to try it out.
