All I smell is orris root and something sweet. I guess it's the honey in this that is peaking through. Dry this rounds out a little more....there are hints of the red currant lurking in the background...but primarily this dries to a sweetened honey dry orris root type of scent. But I do agree with the previous reviewer...this is a very velvetly orris root. It is making my skin itch...sigh...allergic reaction abounds...must wash off.

This sums up Eanach for me. Wet....it smells like a spicy aquatic..with a hint of frankincense. Dry this smells like a man that may have just washed himself in the fresh waters of the Eanach....delicious...but I have my Water Phoenix to suit my aquatics needs.

This smells green....like grass, clover, and leather. This smells like a rough, rugged, hardworking Leipreachan.

Arachnina the Spider Girl....that's my evil kick ass scent! -
I decided on Gossamer for my wedding day!!!!

Wet: This is green....maybe the lettuce...I am not quite sure. Dry: Very perfumey...with a delicate white floral base. I can see Rapunzel wearing this. However, this now is drying down to a nice soapy floral. Off to the swap pile.

This initially smelled like the strawberry truffle from Godiva. I love that truffle...sweet white chocolate and sweet strawberry. Then the white chocolate turns bitter..and less sweet. And the strawberry turns kind of fake and plastic. *sigh* I wanted to love this one.

This is definitively lighter than bed of nails and Torture queen....it actually reminds me of a fresh bottle of Torture queen...light...but it definitely has the metallic note of iron in it.
-
I legitimately have no idea what is in this. I can only decide that this is stinky....there is a fake mint scent to this...something cooling....minty and stinky. Not a fan...but I am glad that I got a chance to try it.

This smells like fresh rain in a pine forest....with a windy breeze blowing through.... If this is the isle of the dead...then everyone smells very piney and fresh.

Light Clean, dish soap.....Not a fan. Must wash off.....although this would make a lovely new soap.

This is a rugged kind of scent. Not what I would really expect a lycaon to wear. I imagine Beast from Beauty and the Beast might have worn this scent while twirling Belle on the dance floor. It was his cologne not the singing candlestick that made her fall in love. This dries down to a light cologne mixed with sweet patchouli with just a hint of powderiness. I wonder how the fiancee would smell with this on?

wet: This starts out with like a lighter version of Brom Bones. Dry: It smells like a really expensive soft leather glove...it's actually quite nice.
-
sweet, spicy, floral, and clean. This is what I would describe this as....I think I will hold onto this imp for a while to see how it ages.
-
dead man's hand? Help? I tried limited editions, and unreleased scents....and I couldn't find it.

In the imp....thick dark coffee...almost burnt to the nose...but not quite. It smells like fresh ground and brewed cappucino. Drydown....no whiskey but dark coffee nonetheless. This smells like the coffee I would drink to study for finals. Dark, black, with a hint of sweetness. I am so glad that I Got to try this!!!

This smells like fresh black leather. The kind you smell in a Harley Motor Davidson shop....that has been treated with some kind of chemical. Must wash off now.

Lavendar is my friend but in this....bleah...off to the swaps/pif pile for you!
-
ROSE...and not just any rose...a funky rose with wood notes and frankincense. I love frankincense...but not this...off to the swaps for you. ETA: Stop hold the phone....the rose has left the building...the frankincense and the wood rose has taken over...I love it...will keep decant....will not swap.
-
violet frankincense. Floral frankincense. Very very, floral frankincense. Not a fan. Off to the swaps

Plummmmmmmmmmm........................wine?....the rice keeps this nice and light....I don't know about this...I can't wait to see how this ages...
-
I bought this bottle....and I don't know if I love it or hate it. It's soft coconut which is normally not a good note for me...but here it works...the white musk is OVERWHELMINGLY dryer sheet...wet...and then poof...it just goes away. Now the musk, coconut, and amber are deliciously delightfully dancing on my skin. It is really kind of pretty...I just don't know if I can live through the initial wet phase.

BPAL oils that repel bugs, flies, mosquitoes, bees, insects?
Dark Alice replied to Mrs.Black's topic in Recommendations
I can't wear the sweeter scents in the summer time due to this very same problem. I tend to wear scents with tobacco, vanilla extract, and other natural bug repellants. I esp. can't wear florals...I really do attract bees with them and really sweet/sticky scents attract the mosquitos....so I would try some tobacco based scents if you can. And also looking up some of the notes to see if they naturally repel bugs... -
Wet: This smells like I have just stuck my face in a fresh honeysuckle flower. The kind you find back home growing on the backyard fence in NC. Drydown: It smells just like perfumed Honeysuckle. This is gorgeous. I will wear this when I want to feel dainty and feminine.
