Wet: This water reminds me of the water note in Water Phoenix. Dry: Thankfully the Water Phoenix note burns off and it becomes this wonderful, queerly, bright vial of effervescent water. I do enjoy this...I will need a bottle. And that is all. Fin.

Wet: Gorgeous wet rosin. I mean fresh rosin, with woods, and a little bit of musk that turns cologney on me. Drydown to the final drydown: Gorgeous rosin, with a hint of woods, and a bite of cinnamon on my skin. As soon as the the cologney note burned off (which didn't take too long) I was in heaven. Will need a bottle of this stat to add to my RPGs.

Wet: Lightly scent almond rum cake. The almond is very light but it does smell delicious...and now I want almond rum cake. Dry: The tonka comes out and blends, and swirls, and twirls with the rum and is just gorgeous. Final drydown: Tonka, sweet, light tonka with a light rummy note. Simply Delicious! I need to buy multiples of this!

I have to agree with SSDB. Dark, animalistic, and delicious. This is a scent I can get behind. The myrrh is smooth and reminds me of Panther Moon without the powdery note. I do like this...but my 1/2 bottle will do me just fine.

Wet: This smells just like the original 2007. Dry: The vanilla is definitely more musky and the pear is extremely light. I really enjoy the original better and I am glad I have it.

I get no coconut from this. Just bad ass patchouli and honey with a blast of bad ass leather. As it dries the vanilla comes out more to softens up the leather a bit. This is just damn gorgeous. But I still wonder if I need two bottles.
-
Oddly...this is the one I wanted to work and it didn't. The combo of French vanilla and Jasmine made my stomach turn every time I smelled it. I am glad that it has a new home but I was definitely not a fan of this one. ETA: Every review is correct as far as I am concerned, there was no lemon verbana in this blend at all.

Foodie Chaos! Sweet, foodie chaos on my skin. I love it but it's not bottle worthy.
-
Red Musk and Honey. Subtle, sweet, not musty. I think I need a bottle.
-
Sadly...this is dark bitter greenery that I love but the raspberries break it for me. Just so bitter and gross it turns the greenery into something yucky. Not a fan. :9

wet: As all pumpkin blends, when I first put them on...I feel like I have gotten hit in the face by a big ole pumpkin pie. The spice is actually overwhelming and makes me gag. BUT: As this dried the vanilla took over. Bourbon, Vanilla Bean, French Vanilla...all took turns swirling around the pumpkin to turn it into a beautiful piece of aromatic art. Dry..I get light pumpkin with a soft gorgeous blend of each vanilla. Do not walk, RUN and get this perfume NOW. It is gorgeous now and I bet in a few months it will be gorgeous.

Violets love me. This is why I bought this perfume. Attar of rose loves me, so does tea, and Siberian Musk. This perfume was made for me. It is a winner. All of the notes blend gorgeously on me. I can't speak enough about how gorgeous this perfume is. Satan talked to Sin and Death, it had to be a wonderful speech. It's just gorgeous.

Wet: This smells like black plum bubble gum. Dry: Gorgeous black plum, black currant, light hints of grapefruit and gorgeous jungle orchid. These swirl around on my skin like a wonderful dance with each note going in and out. This is wonderful. I am so glad to have bought it!
-
The pomegranate in this is so juicy and delicious that I Want to lick my wrist while this is wet. As it dries the leather and cognac come out plus something golden. I have no idea what the note that evokes an image of a black and gold gilded dragon but there is a note in here that does just that. I love it and though it's not an every day scent I am so glad that I have a bottle.
-
I love the new Raven Moon. The vanilla is stronger as is the ebony musk. The chili pepper is milder. Much Milder. It's what made me part with my other two bottles from 2009...too much chili not enough vanilla. So glad that I got a bottle of this. It will age gloriously.

Ninjas or Pirates? -- Ninjas just don't get enough love. So I am voting for them. Besides...who wants scurvy? I have an extra room spray and 2 extra bath oils (one Cephalopod, one Exhibit Hall Fatigue) from Dragon*Con - would anybody like a decant? --YES PLEASE! I live near a Mast General Store. It has lots of vintage-y toys, southern foods (jams, jellies, spices) and vintage candy. Fruit teas that are also black teas! Do you Ravelry? And if so, what's your handle over there? Would you be interested in gift patterns from your queue? -- I'm momesq on Ravelry. Nope. Witchee, what are your favorite quotes? -- "You must do this thing that you think you cannot do" President Truman's wife What's one random thing you really like and one random thing you really dislike? -- Postcards of neat or unusual photographs. Those insipid stick figure family pictures on the back of mini-vans. This the nicest of the bunch of decants I just received. It smells like apple shampoo from wet to dry down. I like this. And I think I will keep my decant.
-
Wet: This smells like sweet pickles, sour pickle juice, and pepper juice. Dry: Pepper juice and tonka with bits of coffee. This is definitely a scent experience. Just a nauseating one.
-
I smell like I have been rolling around in pine and cedar branches. (I did this as a kid in NC) There is a hint of dead leaves on the ground but overall...cedar and pine notes. Pass.
-
Wet: Jellybeans! Dry: Fruity Pebbles cereal mixed with an extra jolt of sugar. Not for me...but I am glad I got to try it.

THE WILD SWANS AT COOLE The trees are in their autumn beauty, The woodland paths are dry, Under the October twilight the water Mirrors a still sky; Upon the brimming water among the stones Are nine-and-fifty swans. The nineteenth autumn has come upon me Since I first made my count; I saw, before I had well finished, All suddenly mount And scatter wheeling in great broken rings Upon their clamorous wings. I have looked upon those brilliant creatures, And now my heart is sore. All's changed since I, hearing at twilight, The first time on this shore, The bell-beat of their wings above my head, Trod with a lighter tread. Unwearied still, lover by lover, They paddle in the cold Companionable streams or climb the air; Their hearts have not grown old; Passion or conquest, wander where they will, Attend upon them still. But now they drift on the still water, Mysterious, beautiful; Among what rushes will they build, By what lake's edge or pool Delight men's eyes when I awake some day To find they have flown away? October twilight. Falling leaves breaking the stillness of cool water, with sweet autumn clematis, feather-soft orris root, luminous white chypre, and muguet. Sweet cool water. Then melon? And then the florals come! Argh! I know what this smells like. Bath and Body Works cool cucumber without the nasty chemical cucumber note. I don't know if this will be staying....I am going to give it a couple of days to settle and test it again!
-
I had this same darn experience. Maybe we are scent cousins porcelina. At first, while wet I had this gorgeous OMG lavender that I adore. But instead of the watery florals I got strong industrial cleaner. As it dried it turns into this gorgeous aloe lotion smell and then disappears. It's sad. But I think I will keep this to see if it morphs into something better with a few months of aging.
-
Fake potpourri with a gorgeous cider note. I wish the cider note was stronger and the mishmash of other notes were calmer. *sigh* Off to the sales with you.
-
Butterscotch candies flecked with dirt, encased in a shiny black shell of myrrh, patchouli, and anise seed. Wet: Butterscotch and dirt. Dry: The beetle part of this scent is quite pleasant. The anise seed is not the scary nauseating licorice variety. It's more earthy, almost an anise/patchouli combination which is quite lovely. I do enjoy the dirt note and the anise seed but as in all sweet/foody scents...the butterscotch is making me a wee bit. :sick:From wet to dry down, it stays sweet although it does fade to a lightly sweet scent its still too sweet for my tastes and makes me nauseous. I think that on a really really off day I would be able to wear this so I will definitely be keeping my decant..but thankfully I won't need much more.
-
I can't believe I have never reviewed this. :wet: This is grown up sexy chocolate. The cocoa is deep, sweetened by the tonka and mellowed and tamed by the mahogany. Dry: this is grown up sexy chocolate wood. I am so glad I was able to track down a second bottle.
