Cologne, with metal, brass, gunpowder, and wood. The cologne fades quickly and I can smell the gunpowder in the wooden bullet itself. I smell the brass of the gun, this by far is the most evocative and wondrous scents of the OLLA series. So glad I bought a bottle.

Epic fail. The sage turns the musk and leather into something NAUSEATING! Must. Wash. Off. NOW!
-
The tobacco flower is just UGH. Then when it dries...the cognac takes over and pummels the amber and black pepper into dust. Pass.
-
From wet to dry down the white lime is the dominating note. Eventually it dries down to a mild cedar note. Meh.

Chaos Theory VI: Recursive Self-Similarity v5

#45. Soft amber with woods. It is amazing! That is all. -
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this one. On me...clean crisp linen note with a hint of jeans and cream. Clean cream. I love it...and it is one of my favorite transition from summer to fall scents.

Smoky moon 12. Hands down.
-
The oriental blossom and cotton blossom are overwhelming here. I can barely smell the vanilla...and then BAM...cotton and oriental blossom. I am hoping that if I can age my decant the vanilla will come out more. B/c if it does...this will be bottle worthy.

This is Eat Me's younger cousin without the cake note. The problem is that is the aniseed. I tried this with the hope that the aniseed would be mild...but no. My skin wants to amp it to high heaven and make me very nauseous. This is going to be washed off...and never spoken of...EVER AGAIN.

This smells like a regular snickers bar on me. Nougat, chocolatey, and nutty goodness. Making me hungry. PASS.

Such a pretty rose scent. Too bad the rose (I think this is a tea rose) kills all of the other notes. I can barely smell any of the other notes. Off to the swaps with ye! -
Smells like Necco Wafers on me. Straight up Necco wafers. Not a fan.
-
I has a sad. I was hoping this would be more like my beloved All Hallow's Eve...but it's not. The gorgeous green apple and ash mix beautifully while wet, but dry it turns into an screeching, hateful banshee of sour apple, apple blossom, and ash on my skin. INSTANT HEADACHE.
-
This smells like sweet chocolate on me. There is not one chocolate note listed in this blend. All I get is chocolate incense. What the hell?
-
Just mint on me. My skin eats the citrus up so again...just mint. Not impressed. Meh.
-
The mimosa in this keeps the honey from going musty and nasty on me. It's a nice light scent and I am so surprised that it works on me. I love it...but I think a decant is enough.

I can't even dare to put this on. Rice wine and tea roses. NO NO NOTES! This must go!!! Not one to be daunted by the perfumes of Beth..I decided to boldly put this on. Of course...its gorgeous on me. This the only perfume where cream and rice wine have ever worked on my skin. I smell sweet, and delicious, and fruity. But alas..this is not a me scent so I will have to pass this on.

This pretty much sums up my experience except I don't get the pine...I get the deep, dark, delicious vetiver. It smells amazing...and is not headache inducing at all! I will keep this imp and actually use it up!
-
I get no leather in this. I just get delicious goblin musk! I love it. Will be ordering a full bottle before this goes down!
-
Grey musk and Orris root make this perfume SWOONWORTHY!!! It's delicate and refined with a spider web/gossamer feel to it and that's while it's just wet! Dry, the magnolia peeks through like a fog creeping like cat's feet over the road. Slow, soft, and seductive. Not a very loud scent at all. I just adore this and I am so glad I have a bottle.

This sums it up...with a minor change: The morgra makes it a bit floral. I am aging this as I know it will be glorious in time for summer.

PURPLE SPOTTED SWALLOWTAIL Black plum, opium poppy, dusky amber, opoponax, castoreum accord, dried berries, tolu balsam, clove bud, and lime. Wet: Rich sweet, black plum..with the barest hints of berry and clove. Drydown: This is a morpher on me! The balsam is present but it mixes quite well with the plum and berries. I get no lime in this as my skin eats it soooo quickly! I guess it's the castorum accord that gives this the a slightly perfumey edge...but not too much. Overall...gentle clove bud, with plum and balsam wafting in and out. Well done Beth...I bet will age wonderfully! ETA: Complete drydown... Clove bud, amber, hints of black plum and castorum accord. Absolutely lovely, fruity, dark perfume.

This smells like fresh crumbly leaves and leather. Not bad. Not astounding...but not bad at all. I will keep the decant but won't need a bottle.
-
Pimento leaf and pickles. This is nauseating. Will not smell this again.

ZZ said it right: Aquatic, wood with a touch of ozone. I like it. And my decant will be loved.
