I'm fond of this one and I miss it terribly since I only had one imp of it and that broke... I'm considering a big bottle but an imp might be enough to satisfy. A little certainly goes a long way, and I'm not convinced I could pull this one off on a daily basis. Queen is exactly how I imagined voodoo to smell... it was one of the first BPALs I tried, and there's an appeal about it that no other scent I've tried since has duplicated for me, although I sometimes recognise elements of it in other blends. Very mysterious and powerful.

Too much jasmine for me I'm afraid... And my boyfriend accused me of spraying myself with air freshener so I think that's a thumbs down...

This is a perfect summer party scent. I wore it to my office Christmas party last night. Lasts quite well for a fruity scent. I do like the crispness.

I like this a lot. Usually I find the patchouli-heavy scents a bit too dark and heavy, but the apricot perks it up nicely.

Why don't sweet foody scents love me as much as I love them? They always go plastic on my skin and this is no exception. But I'm more than happy to keep my bottle and use it on my clothes and hair because it really is divine. Rich dark chocolate with orange. The mint makes an appearance for maybe a minute, but mostly I don't notice it. As it dries down I get whiffs of coconut and fig. I tried it in the morning while I was wearing my dressing gown and the next day said dressing gown is emanating the fragrance of juicy coconut flesh!

This is rose, but stronger. Yet muted... surely that doesn't make sense. eh. It's just rose. Nice, but I think I should avoid rose. A tad bitter? GAH rose is boring!

This is my least favourite BPAL, by far! It reminds me of stale blood, or something... I don't even know what, but it's nauseating. Athens was honey wine and I quite liked that one, so I guess it's the bay or laurel that's disagreeing with me. I thought I liked bay leaves though. As it dries down it's less disgusting, or maybe I've just gotten used to it.. no, the bad smell is still there, it's just less intense. I think I can smell the incense now and that seems nice enough, but it's still trapped underneath the horror. I must get rid of this one. ETA: The strangest thing just happened... I washed off Delphi, and tried to recover by sniffing some different imps that I knew I liked, but they all smelled unpleasant! The only scents that could soothe me were florals that I usually find unimpressive. I hope this is temporary!

This is gorgeous! Though it almost makes me think of cherry, rather than plum. It's almost too pretty for its name, but when wet it has an intense spicy heat to it. I asked my friend what it smelled like (to see if he would say plum or cherry) and he said it smells like amyl nitrate.. hmm.. I wouldn't know about that! As it dries down the plum remains most prominent and it becomes sweeter and less spicy. Unfortunately on my skin it becomes unrecognisable fairly quickly, leaving just a vague sweetness. Still, I'm seriously considering a 5ml of this.

Definitely the prettiest colour I've seen so far. Strangely bittersweet. Reminded me of eucalyptus at first, very sharp. But there's something odd mingling with it, a sweet muskiness. When I sniff it, my skin tingles! I can't see myself getting much use out of this as perfume. I'll use the remainder of the imp as a room scent.

Yikes! This one is definitely making my skin red and angry! Which sucks, because it's one of the nicest things I've ever smelled. When I put it on I was informed I made the whole house smell of cinnamon toast. It definitely is stronger than average but not overwhelmingly cassia as i feared. It's wonderfully balanced cakey goodness. I could sniff it all day, but can't put it on my skin! (okay, I admit it just keeps getting on there somehow..) It has to be said though, that even with the evil skin reaction I am so glad to have an entire bottle! It's great for scenting hair and clothes. Mustn't sniff the bottle on a full stomach though.. makes me feel like i'm forcefeeding myself cake.

This one's intriguing... spicy, smoky with a strange sharpness to it. Usually I find that one or two notes are especially noticeable but that doesn't seem to be the case here, which could be why I'm finding it difficult to describe. There seems to be a lot going on. It sweetens up a little on my skin, and I think the throw is predominantly sweet because after I'd been wearing it for a few minutes my boyfriend came along and asked me if I'd been eating strawberries! Maybe his insanity is catching because I can sort of understand why. This scent strikes me as muted, yet unsettling. I really like it, and will be very interested to see how it ages.

I don't get any chocolate from this, but it really smells like pralines, which is amazing! It reminds me of an icecream sundae with lots of delicious things, and just smelling it makes me feel like I've gorged myself. The salty booze aspect puts me off a little though.

I'm noticing the pine more than anything else. If it doesn't change I'm going to dismiss it as being too much like a cleaning product. The vanilla is lovely, but vanilla and pine is just an odd combination. I wish I could like this more but it makes me think of cleaning a toilet.

This one fades quite quickly on me... the lemon is detectable, but my overall impression is vegetal. It reminds me of Scarecrow more than anything, which is odd. Very grassy.

Giddy from the chocolatey goodness... I'm pleased that this isn't nutty like the chocolate in Vice.

Love this one! The orange is refreshingly tart, nothing like an orange lolly. Frangipani is my favourite flower for two reasons, and the scent is one of them (the other is because the tree branches make pretty good snozzcumbers). Unfortunately it's the first note to fade but the whole scent is so lovely it barely matters (the orange lingers longest). I don't get any smoke, just a light spiciness.
