Very soft. Mostly getting lavender and sandalwood. This smells like it would be a good scent for sleeping. The musk is fairly light, but is warming it up. Not bad, but the touch of rose is putting in a slight chemical quality that is making my nose itch. I think I'll give it a retest before making a final verdict.

Holy poppy and opium, Batman! I think this may be the most "opium-y" of all the BPAL scents I've tried so far, which means it has an insanely musky/smoky feel to it. Not getting much of the other florals as the opium/poppy are so overwhelming. But that's okay, because I like opium and poppy. There's somewhat of an aquatic feel here, too.

Minty orange. The rose is hiding behind everything else. No grape, no rosemary. Too citrus for me, and it kind of smells like toothpaste.
-
Florals, but I'm also getting a bit of what feels like citrus. And some aquatics. Neither of which are making me overly happy. Not getting grass at all.
-
Goes on very alcohol-y. It's a fairly indistinct floral with a bit of musk and overall has an aftershave feel to it. Kind of reminds me of face astringent, too. It's not bad.
-
Strong and not very pleasant. It smells like grapes, lemons, and vetiver got into a fight and no one won. Ick.
-
Cinnamon granola, with a touch of something sharp. Vetiver? The granola-ish note is not my favorite - I didn't like it in Queen of Sheba and I don't like it here.
-
Very woody. It has a mildly herbal feel to it, and I get a bit of sage behind the wood, but mostly this is violet and iris growing in the woods. Not getting vanilla, musk, or mandarin. Fairly light, limited throw.
-
Not very lover-ly at all. I get a lot of anise, along with something "warm." Medium-strength lemony scent, too. Definitely not for me.
-
Feels like a slightly spicy men's cologne. I get a hint of something that feels like wet leather. A mild floral in there, too. And maybe a bit of mint. Not really for me.
-
Sharp and yet earthy at the same time. I get a bit of whatever I didn't like in Queen of Sheba here, with maybe some vetiver and jasmine? It's fairly light, but that "earthy" note is off-putting to me.
-
A musky floral. I can't really pick out any of the individual floral notes. Has a slight aquatic feel as well.
-
Light but pretty aquatic bath salts. Touch of light florals. Nothing distinctive, and my skin is eating it quickly.
-
EWWW! I don't know what is in this, but it smells like a dirty trashcan and is giving me a headache. Not going to bother with notes because I can't bring myself to smell it long enough to try to figure out what's in it.

Based on the notes, I should totally hate this, since citrus, orchid, and rose are generally all hell on me. *sniff* Surprisingly, I don't hate this. I'm getting rose, but it's the purer rose that's in Rose Red, which does okay on me. The citrus notes are there, but they're blending well and becoming a back-up for the rose. My main complaint is that this fades fairly quickly. I'll give it another shot later.

Very herbal, but it also has some prominent neroli which is making me turn my nose - neroli and I are not friends.
-
Leather and a bit of something wet. Touch of spice. Really no throw to this at all - it's very faint. Something a bit medicinal...I think my skin is just eating it...

Very spicy! Definitely some dragon's blood in here, and I think also a touch of clove and citrus. Hint of vetiver as well.
-
Very light. I think maybe some benzoin? A touch of something herbal as well, and maybe some vetiver or leather.
-
Spicy. I'm getting a lot of dragon's blood and perhaps a smidge of myrrh or honey. It's very potent and rich.
-
Oooh, this is pretty! Vanilla and the musks are the predominant notes on me, although I get a touch of the ginger and florals as well.
-
This smells like Nerds candy. Bright, fruity, and sugary. Yummy!
-
This reminds me of Mi-Go. Ozone-y with light/bright fruity florals. I can't decide if I like it or not.
-
Mostly rose, less ylang ylang. Kinda going to rose baby powder, and it's the chemically smelling rose that usually doesn't work for me.
-
Almost all cedar, with a touch of patchouli. Not menacing at all - it's delicious! Not getting lemon at all, and the sandalwood is barely there.
