    Dana O'Shee

Dana O'Shee... Oh in the bottle this is pure almond! Lovely. Wet again, but slightly bitter this time. As it dries down it becomes lighter, alot like marzipan. It's definately a slathering scent as it fades a bit quickly. But oh god is it the perfect autum scent.

    Hymn

I opened the bottle of this and fell in love. I thought there could be no other. Then I put it on.... At first it was a gorgeous blend of flowers...very nice, very feminine... then it dired....soapy and lemony. Of all things, perhaps more so than patchouli, I hate lemon the most. My skin chemistry is wierd anyway.

    something NOT sexy

sadly I would have to so forgo the whole perfume thing all together. That species is so driven by smell anything you wear will be burned into his mind forever as a way to remember you. I would just nix it all together just for tomorrow.

    Ultraviolet

I just got this in 10ml size in a swap. It was never on my to try list simply because of the mint, but am I ever glad that Neko brought this to my attention. wet, oh my is it minty, sharp, cold mint, and I think there's a bit ot violet in the background...This is a chiily scent dry..oh my god! It's icon, lush's icon with a touch of mint. I am so in love. I think I will be slathering myself with this after my bath tonight.

    Eternal

OH MY GOD!!!!!!! First on, wet, Magnolias, Gardinias, Jasmine, and Heliotrope. This is so beautiful and so perfect. It's like being in the south on a hot afternoon. I don't get any of the saddness from this. It smells so warm and lovely to me. Dry: It's all magnolia and heliotrope on me. It's gorgeous...I will have to stick this in the bigger bottle pile...Beautiful

How to make a paypal order.

I believe you have to use paypal if you are in the UK? There's a thread in the faqs somewhere...meh I know I've read it.

    Tiger Lily

Tiger Lilly This is a scent of pure lillyness... Wet, it's all lillies with a hint of honey in the background. It's gorgeous. Like lillies in a feld on a hot summer day. Simply Beautiful. Dry, Thankfully it doen't change much at all on me once it's dry. It's heavy and sunshiney. The lillies are prodomenat, but the honey and a slight spicyness shine through to make this absolutely girly and glorious. It is a very happy scent. I will covet this bottle, much like I covent alot of the other bottles.

    Black Rose

I was curious about this one as I love rose scents. Wet, it's pure rose. Those big red roses with the really dark petals. There's a little green in there too, which makes me think of hot house roses. Dry...the amber pops up in the back and the rose becomes a dried sweet rose scent instead of the fresh scent. It reminds me of the room I used to dry flowers in. It's really quite lovely, but apparently, like everything else I've tried lately I can't wear this until the weather cools down, it's just too heavy.

    La Petite Mort

I'm still trying to figure this out. I put it on and wet it was sort of sweet sort of heady...I did not smell the spicyness in there at all. After it dried down it turned into a giant bouquet of flowers. I think I may have been having on off day chemically. I'm going to try it again when I get home, but this is defaintely a cool weather scent. It's too heavy for any day warmer than 65 degrees.
  11. Ditto on scherezade.... My fiance really loves Alice I really think Sin is very sexy....he likes that one too

    Shroud

Shroud is a dirty, flowery cold smell wet, out of the bottle anyway. As it dries down the sandlewood comes to the top. It really reminds me of going into a graveyard on a very cold autum day. I don't know how Beth manages to capture the smell of marble, but it's amazing

    Blue Moon 2004

Blue Moon is a stunning ethereal scent. I'm so sad I didn't get to get this one when it was available, but thank you Fairywingmaker for the imp:> It's lush. Beautiful crisp cucumber and juniper. With mugwort hanging in the backgroud. It's such a calming comforting scent. I dabbed a little on my pillow last night and had such a wonderful, vivid dream filled sleep. I was so relaxed and so comfortable that I actually slept. I suppose I will be using this sparringly. Thank you Elizabeth for such a wonderful concoction:>

    What scents are masculine? Gender-neutral?

Vicomte de Valmont is just delicious on Michael... We tried a couple of other scents, Antony, Wilde, and I believe we put Greed on him as well, but everything came out flowery on him. I guess his skin just pulls any floral scent to the top.. But Vicomte, how I am not to be trusted in a room alone with him when he wears that. *drool*

Hippiesh, spicy, musky scents - without patchouli

I would have to agree with lorajc...Sin is very spicy, also for a spicy/musky smell Scherezade. It;s so sexy and spicy and musky, I'm sure she'll love it.

    Empyreal Mist

So sad...I wanted to love this from the reviews...but my skin eats it upon application...there is nothing there, even wet. I tried to put a little more on...Still nothing. I'm so sad. Into the swap bin it goes.

    India Bouquet

Initially it's like curry, coriander and ginger. It's a heavy, foody smell...like an indian groccer. Durring the drydown it has a hint of floweryness, but mostly there's still alot of coriander and ginger. At first I didn't think I could wear this, howeer now that it's dried down I think it will make a splendid autum scent. Although it's awsomely spicy, it's not too spicy. I love it...perhaps enough to order a 5ml.

    Does BPAL stain?

regulat old softsoap usually does the trick, the yellowy orange kind...just dab it on the oil spot and scrub gently with a scrub brusg and wash the oil is no longer there. good luck miranda

    Snake Oil

Oh it's beautiful. It's like a hot summer night, sex in public kind of smell. Completely and utterly sexual. It went on wet very sweet and sugary but dried down to a lovely decadent myrrh smell..oh I cannot wait to get this big bottle of this!
  20. I got my click n ship thing on Monday...So hopefully SOON!
  21. I haven't used any of the BPAL stuff for migraine or tension headaches (as I am a sufferer of both) but as an aromatherepist I can reccomend 5 dropps of lavender to 3 drops of chamomile in a water pot (i use a tart burner of the yankee candle company) it really helps and has a wonderful narcotic effect on you as well. miranda
