Toe-shoe pink with an iridescent lilac sheen. Pretty and delicate! Totally appropriate for work or any other occasion. On the nail, this reads as a translucent, milky light pink. I was a bit disappointed that the beautiful blue/purple shimmer did not seem to translate onto the nail.

Vulva-pink crème. A pretty, slightly neon, pink! This shade was a good bit brighter than in the bottle. It's happy and vibrant. I don't love pink, and don't have many pink polishes, so I feel like this fills a void in my polish collection.

I should not have tried this one, because red musk always makes me queasy and gives me a headache, but I was lured in by the good reviews that downplayed the red musk. The red musk is indeed not prominent, but it's still there and I had to wash this off immediately. It's a shame, because the cherry blossom is fresh and beautiful, and the strawberry cream is a delight.

This oil is a morpher for sure! When I first apply it, I get an initial blast of lavender, followed by a warm, spicy blend of the lavender with the amber, carnation, and hay. I absolutely love it at this point. The spiciness of the carnation blended with the warmth of the hay and the amber give it a resinous/woody quality to my nose. Someone mentioned that it smells like a sunny garden, and I agree wholeheartedly! It's like Thomas Sharpe meets Victoriana.Goth. As the oil dries down, it changes pretty significantly. The strawberry candyfloss and vanilla cream make their big appearance, nearly drowning out all of the other notes. The lavender and carnation feel like they're wafting in and out with the breeze, while the candyfloss (with a few bits of hay and amber scattered in its sweet fluffy pink cloud!) is most prominent. All in all, this is a super fun and happy blend that I will enjoy wearing year-round, but especially in the spring and summer.

Pele!!! My other beachy favorites are Lovers and a Fan, Tiki Princess, and Beanman and Beanwoman Prepare to Attack the Vagina. Pele: Whimsical, temperamental, radiant and ravishingly beautiful Goddess of Volcanoes, Fire, Lightning and Dance. She is the Mother of Eruptions and the personification of destructive power. Volcanic eruptions are said to be a side-effect of her jealous rages and her epic quarrels with her siblings are legendary. This perfume embodies her gentler, benign aspect as the capricious Goddess of Dance: muguet and Hawaiian white ginger enveloped by warm, damp tropical blooms. Lovers and a Fan: White coconut, thick wildflower honey, and threads of saffron. Tiki Princess: A frothy, cold coconut perfume, pure and sweet, with gentle wafts of plumeria, pikake, and ala ala wai nui. Beanman and Beanwoman Prepare to Attack the Vagina: Skin musk, white amber, ambergris, orange blossom, ylang ylang, and coconut milk. (edited to add scent descriptions)

Oh good gracious. I hate banana candy. But I loooove banana pudding and banana moonpies. I don't think that I've ever had banana cream pie. Anyhow, this oil is like the best banana pudding ever. Realistic, mouthwatering bananas, dollops of cream, and vanilla wafer crumbles.

This oil smells exactly like those little strawberry candies in the foil wrapping that's red with yellow seed dots and a twisted green top. Waxy, strawberry candy.

Deep South, Southern belles, Gone with the Wind...

Give Josie a try! It has magnolia, instead of honeysuckle or jasmine. -
While wet, this is primarily juicy (bubblegum-esque) lotus with a background of creamy sandlewood. At this point, it smells like mashed bananas in a bowl of spicy milk. The lotus very quickly (within a few minutes) burns off to leave a spicy, figgy cream scent. The khus in the scent likely deepens it a bit (perhaps adding to the spiciness), since I don't detect strong vetiver. This scent is very pretty and playful, resembling the monkey on the label in my mind.

I thought I was safe from this atmo until the reviews started trickling in. I'm beyond grateful for everyone's reviews and beyond delighted to have this atmo spray! It smells like cherry vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone! It's delicious, happy, cheerful, and fun! I feel like this scent could be used year-round for any occasion. When I need a pick-me-up on a blah day, I will reach for Zombie Moon.

Incredibly realistic, powdery Swiss Miss, with the teeny tiny Marshmallows included. I'm not a huge fan of chocolatey perfumes, but I am certainly buying a bottle of this. It is gentle and highly wearable!

In imp and wet: banana moonpies! When dry, the banana recedes into the background and allows the cereal and milk (I agree with Mountaingrrl that it's steamed milk)) to shine. The cereal smells like Lucky Charms and Cheerios to me. I'm really enjoying this oil--it's sweet (but not too sweet), cozy, and nostalgic.

French-milled soap indeed! Freshly-scrubbed skin ready for stories and bedtime! I smell clean lavender and the slightly dusty yarrow, with nary a trace of chamomile or vanilla. I love this--especially as a bedtime scent!

Oh my... this is lovely. I was a little concerned about the baby goat musk and the goat's milk, but I had absolutely no reason to be. This is incredibly gentle, sweet, and creamy. Through all stages of wear, I mostly get a mild and milky honey scent. I don't specifically smell goat's milk, but I may be reading that note as a thick cream. The musk is very gentle and rounds off the scent, though I would not call this a musky scent. There is also a light papery-ness to this, which may be the rice flower. This very much reminds me of Self Portrait. I will absolutely be upgrading my half decant to a full bottle.

White fig, tea leaves, oakmoss, and lilac blossoms. Such a lovely atmo for Spring! I mostly smell the moss, which has the same dusky, fresh, and floral quality of the Spanish Moss SN, and the lilac. The fig note is delicious, sweet and unripened, and there are gentle hints of tea. It's very fresh in a good way!

Sweet lily backed by a dry sandalwood and cedar, without a trace of orange blossom. As it dries on my skin, I get more of the woody smells overtaking the florals, and thennn lots of orange blossoms- hooray! It's like a cedar log in the woods covered in flowers. It really is springlike, as Herb Girl mentioned.

Like Aviatrix, I was really excited about this oil. It is really beautiful and one of my favorites from this year's many amazing offerings. It's giving me a Peach VIII vibe-- it smells like jasmine lemonade with a dollop of whipped cream and a bamboo straw. I may need a backup of this beauty!

Each Luper that I've tried this year has been a knockout, and this lovely gloss is no different. If rose were a juicy, honeyed fruit on a platter in a harem, this is what it would smell like. This is a juicy, fruity rose with a hint of smoke from the champa. I'm not smelling any myrrh- but I bet it's adding a little smoke and sweetness. This reminds me of Saint Foutin de Varailles, and to a lesser extent, The Flowers Cleave Apart (though with rose instead of jasmine). All in all, this is a very playful and stunning scent.

Unnnnnnnnnh I looove this hair gloss. Herb Girl is absolutely right--it's all very beautifully and seamlessly blended. I smell the osmanthus and linden most prominently, which lends this gloss a breezy, sunny aura. I can smell the tobacco a bit in the bottle, but on the hair it serves to deepen and ground the floral notes, keeping them from being too breezy (like dryer sheets). This gloss is just lovely and makes me so happy for spring!

Oh, this is beautiful. This gloss is foresty goodness--sun-drenched and green with sweet honeycomb, berries, and soft violets. The combination is totally stunning. I'm so glad that I gave Elf a try!

Mmmmmm coconut cream, marshmallow, and amber giving it all some warmth and spice. This is like coconut cake and chilled rice pudding on a beach! I could wear this forever.

This is the first oil with an almond note that has worked for me, and I am pleased as punch! The almond blossom smells like delicious almond extract, sweetened by the vanilla cream. I can't necessarily pick out the mimosa, but it seems as if it's giving the blend a bit of brightness. Really lovely.

Honeyed Golden Musk, Rosewater, and Red Sandalwood Atmosphere Spray
ellocentipede replied to theseagrows's topic in Atmosphere
Oh my- this is lovely. I agree that it is warm and romantic. It is also pretty foody to my nose, which surprised me. It smells like a plate of honeyed rose cakes with almonds and a halo of golden musk. I'm also reminded by Love, minus the strawberry note. -
White tea, golden apricot, and orange blossom. I didn't expect to love this nearly as much as I do, since I'm not really a lover of fruit scents. It is such a happy scent! The apricot (perfect, ripe, and juicy) is the strongest note and is sweetened, but not overly, by the orange blossom, which nearly smells like honeysuckle to me. There is a hint of greenness as well, which I think is the white tea note. So so good. If I get a BPTP backup from this collection, this is the one.

Wow- this is one of the most beautiful atmosphere sprays that I've ever had the pleasure of using. I get the lovely leaf note from Harvest Moon 2013 (smells like real honeysuckle to me and quite possibly is my favorite smell on the planet) with dry apple, myrrh, and sweet smoke. It's definitely moody, but there's also a really lovely lightness to it. I will use this spray year round, especially during the cooler rainy days here that happen so often in the NW.
