    Devil's Night

In the bottle - Gingerbread. Gingerbread made with rum and molasses ... Wet on skin - Now it's just the dry spice of a really good gingerbread ) Dry on Skin - Richer and slightly sweeter with the molasses rum coming out. I don't usually like foody scents but I do believe I'm liking this one. Later - Mmmm warm, dry spicy. Likes

    Hungry Ghost Moon 2006

In the bottle - Fruit and sweet mecinial scent that reminds me of pink medicine when I was child. Wet on skin - Still mostly the same though there is a sharpness that relieves it a litle. I wanted to like this one, grapefruit and ginger and wood and herbs called to me, unfortunately I'm not getting any of that Dry on skin - OK, the sickly sweetness has gone and I'm getting grapefruit more strongly but it's still a little sweeter than I generally like. Later - This may require a further testing. I'm just not sure about it at all - I don't think it's "Ick!" but I'm also not sure if I like it! *flails pathetically*

    New Orleans

In the imp - Rainwashed sweet flowers. Wet on skin - There's a disturbing "SOAP!" thing happening. Very chemical difficult to spot anything else. Dry on skin - The soapy issue is still there but it's faint and now I can just about find the jasmine. Though I can smell Jasmine more strongly as I type and soap is only noticable when I stick my nose in it. Later - Yes it's jasmine, warmed with honeysuckle and lifted with a hint of citrus but my nose is still finding soap I have a bad feeling it's the Jasmine that my nose doesn't like ...

    Red Phoenix

In the bottle - Strong dark spices. There's heat in here. Wet on skin - More green notes now, softening with exotic woods. Dry on skin - Spices are making themselves, I'm sure I found cinnamon and possibly pepper. Later - Becoming wam and musky with a supporting cast of spice. I like it but as ever my skin is eating it and making it very subtle ... not wanting it to fade away

    Dragon Moon 2006

In Imperial China, the Dragon was the symbol of the Emperor’s power, and to this day, the concept and the image of the Dragon is considered sacrosanct. The Dragon is a symbol of power, the Lord of weather and water. The Dragon Moon celebrates the glory and vigor of Springtime: dragon’s blood resin, tea leaf, bamboo reed, sandalwood and cherry blossom. In the bottle - A dull almost earthy citrus, perhaps a little incenselike. Wet on skin - Soft and warm and ... something the hint of citrus is still there with just the vaguest undertone of soap. Tell me it isn't going to go to soap Dry on skin - It's rich and green earthy, the soap threat has gone. With a promise of sunwarmed flowers. It's looking good so far. Later - The hint of citrus and tea is dominant now but over all still warm and earthy. Likes this one.

    Baobhan Sith

In the bottle - Soft citrus , like peeling clemintines at Christmas. Wet on skin - Ooo lovely citrus!!! With a hint of blossom. Dry on skin - Light floral with a wonderful spicy citrus kick. Yum. Later - Sherbet, this is how I always imagined sherbet from stories in the Arabian nights to taste. Exotic perfumed lemonade with real fruit and delicate perfumed blossomes. This one's a keeper. Glad I acquired a 10ml bottle )

Chaos Theory II : The Butterfly Effect

Chaos Theory 2 CX In the imp - Astringent, woody and maybe a hint of floral? Wet on skin - Vaguely medicinal. With something herby that just jumped up my nostrils. Dry on skin - Now it's smokey herbal with a touch of musk. It's definitely improving. Later - I likes this one. It's rich and musky and I can't stop sniffing it. Last reviewed by cuervosueno.

    Milk Moon 2005

In the bottle - Toffee. 0.o Wet on skin - Now it's softened into milk ... Dry on skin - Subtle (does my skin ever not eat the fragrance?) sweet milk. Not sure about this ... Later - It just keeps getting sweeter. Like hot milk with way too much sugar and I don't like hot milk at the best of times. This is definitely NOT me.

    Lex Talionis

In the bottle - Woody with dark spices. Promising ... Wet on skin - Gets lots more subtle just a hint of spicy wood. Dry on skin - Still gentle spicy woods but there is a sharpness lifting it. Not at all what I expected but I'm liking it so far. Later - I really did not expect this to be so subtle but it's died down to a woody with undertones of spice that I rather like. Not sure I like it so much as to make it a favourite though.

    Clio

In the imp - Mossy green, almost earthy with something sharp and possibly incensey. Wet on skin - The green and the wood are coming through more strongly. Dry on skin - Not fading as much as some. The parchment is there now and the orange is also coming through making it a little sweeter but not so much as to put me off. I'm not fond of sweet. Later - Now the lavender is becoming dominant with a warm citrus kick. This one's a keeper.

    La Belle au Bois Dormant

In the imp - There's pears in that there bottle. Cooked pears, pears poached in a delicately perfumed syrup. Wet on skin - Now there are sweet flowers growing all over my cooked pears. They might be a bit sickly sweet but the pear has an earthy that grounds them. Dry on skin - mmmm ... how to describe this? It's floral but woody at the same time, nothing specific jumps out at you. It's a peasant melange. Later - Pretty much as before except it's developing undertones of soap on my skin

    Bastet

In the imp - Sweet marzipan and fruit. I don't like marzipan, this should be interesting... Wet on skin - Ok, so instant hit of marzipan that fades into glowing fruit toned alcohol ... Dry on skin - There's still marzipan but it's a warm glow, more of a petit fours than commercial tacky marzipan. It's overlaid with and exotic spicy floral ... it's definitely getting better. Later - now, it's a dry heated sweetly, spiced floral, with only a hint of that floral. Mostly you get a rich warmth... Do I like this? Not sure yet.

    Wolfsbane

In the imp - Strong, resinous herbal. Clean and yet there's tones of earth there. Yells "masculine" quite loudly. Wet on skin - More earthy, the resin has faded down and there's an oddly citrus note. No longer yells "masculine" at me. Dry on skin - So much softer than I expected from the imp sniffing. It wafts a fair distance too, wonderfully dark green without being oppressive. I think this one may be a keeper. Later - It's gone super subtle or maybe my nose has just gotten used to it. Still pleasantly green though with a tiny hint of something vaguely aniseedlike ...

    Eris

In the imp - I'm getting fruit, I'm getting melon ... I'm getting fruit polos? Wet on skin - Still fruit polos with somethng darker ... Dry on skin - a sort of very soft mix of fruit and ... something. Yes there may be a snippet of floral in there, maybe. Later - ... and we're back to melon again. 0.o This doesn't grab me, it's at least partially because when I think of Eris I think of apples. I wanted apples and dark notes spiked with ozone or something bright and sharp ...

    Umbra

In the imp - Definitely dark and earthy with a touch of bitterness. Wet on skin - Lighter, with and acrid note added to the earth can't find the cinnamon. Dry on skin - I smell of potting compost but not in abad way. Theres a touch of green there: reminds me of potting up seedlings. Later - Still pleasantly earthy. Not sure if I'd go out of my way to buy this but I do like it.

    Hellcat

In the bottle - Burnt sugar and wood. Wet on skin - Still burnt sugar and wood. I'm having a very woody day apperently. Dry on skin - where did it go? Is it coming back? Sweet burnt sugar is still almost there ... Later - Autumn leaves. This smells like hedgerows in Autumn. Is that the hazlenut? Sweet buttercream is peeking out underneath now. I was not expecting anything like this from the description but I likes it I does.

    Psyche

In the imp - Smells heavy. Woody chemically. Maybe my nose is having an off day? Wet on skin - lighter. Much lighter. Where did everything go? There might a wisp of musk there somewhere, possibly faint floral too ... Dry on skin - The wood has developed into full blown lavender. It's quite a pleasant lavender but that's pretty much all I'm getting. Later - The rose is peeking out from behind the lavender, there's a musky sweetness in there as well now. I think this is a keeper.

    Succubus

In the Imp - Can definitely smell neroli with a sharpness that has to be the bergamot. I love orange blossom, neroli and bergamot. We shall have to see if this loves me ... Wet on skin - softly green, I'm guessing the mimosa, going slightly woody with a faint undernote of honey. Not at all what I expected. Dry on skin - Defintely a kind of honeyed wood with the faintest whisper of neroli. Odd, so very not what I expected. Very, very delicate. Later - Still mostly the same only warmer.I like this one. ( gone all soapy )

    Jezebel

In the imp - Warm, fresh and delicious. Smells like good quality orange chocolates. Yum, maybe I should just drink this .... Wet on skin - Oranges and honey! I think I could maybe live in this smell ... Dry on skin - Even better, warm and honey and a sharp stab of orange blending down and now the sandalwood is coming out to play adding an incredible earthy quality. Unless something bad happens this is definitely going on my bottle list. Later - It's turned it a slighty chemical orange gummy sweets thing This is sad. I wanted it to like me.

    Gypsy Queen

In the Imp -Spicy, sweetly spicy. I think I found the carnation. Wet on skin - Heavier, stronger. There's rose there but it's subtle. I'm getting the lighter notes of bergamot. The Gods only know where the neroli is hiding. Smoke and incense slipping through now as well. Dry on skin - I found the rose now but the carnation has sweetened it. Not so sure about this. I'll give it a while longer to settle. Later - OK, it's gorgeous. Heavy rose without being overwhelming and delicious musky spice. This is decadent. I'm sorry there won't be more of this ....

    Samhain

In the imp - I'm getting soft green probably the mullein with a tiny hint of the apple. Not hugely impressive at this point. Wet on skin - Much darker and stronger lots of wood and patchouli. The green keeps pushing through and the apple is defintely there, gentle but determined in the background with just a touch of the spice. Dry on skin - Wonderful warm melange of scent. Sweet and fruity and spicy with a strong bulwark of wood spiked with that fir needle I think. Later - It's getting more woody and Autumnal with underpinnings of rich, warming spiced apple juice. I think I'm in love!

    Scarecrow

Scarecrow. In the imp. Smells like dry grass. When it first hits skin - wow - boiled sweets but quickly turns to fresh green. It's settling down now to undertones of hay and something sharper. So far I like this one. Later: Definately dried grasses but with undertones of something fresher and sharper. I like it but it's very faded now, very subtle. Must make my boyfriend try it later
