I have had this for a long time. So long that I had forgotten what it smelled like. I tried a little on and am wearing this now. JASMINE!!! This oil is almost exclusively jasmine on me. There is a slight cinnamon in here because it does irritate my skin just a bit. Maybe my skin just amps jasmine. Did I mention that this stuff is super duper strong? I put just a tiny bit in teh cleavage and behind each ear. I feel like I am swimming in a pool of reeking jasmine flowers. I was hoping this would fade out a little but it actually seems to be getting stronger. I may have to swipe a little off with alcohol to see if it will calm it down. Strangely enough though I can't stop sniffing it. This is very weird because I am not so sure I like it. I almost feel headachy. Also I read through the other reviews and I do not get any of the patchouli or woodsy smell at all. If you like jasmine you will probably like this. Just beware the throw.

Devil's Claw. Very evil indeed.

Me too! I was hoping for some patchouli and nag champa and was not sure how the grape would turn out. Upon first sniff, I did get a Blood Rose type wine scent that was far from "grape" but on application it turned into a strong gardenia type floral and had a spice similar to how Old Morroco smelled on me. Reminded me of White Diamonds which is my least favorite of all perfumes. It dried down to a sweet vanilla-ish scent similar to the one in Siren. I got absolutely zero patchouli, grape or Nag champa in this. Not even in the bottle. I almost wonder if I got the wrong bottle somehow. I really really wanted to love this but the White Diamond smell ruined it for me. Maybe it is just my crappy chemistry. *edit* I must have had a broken schnoz when I reviewed this due to the 14 hours car ride I had taken before coming home to a much awaited bpal package. I still do not smell any grape and only a hint of patchouli, but it definately has a headshoppy champa smell and that is what I wanted. I cant figure out what the floral note is but that noxious white diamonds smell is no longer there when I wear this. It is now not only tolerable but nice. My husband likes it alot. He thinks it smells like the incense tent at the NY state fair. He can pick up the patchouli notes that I can't detect. On that note it is official. My nose is retarded so please take all my reviews with a grain of salt.

On first whiff this smelled of popcorn, posies, and potting soil. Odd but very good. On applying the salty smell was gone and the dirt faded which kinda bummed me out. Then a spicy floral scent came through that made me think of incense. It is not over powering nor offensive which is good because I normally detest anything floral. This is good. I asked the ol ball chain what he thought and he said "Ummm incense!" He liked. He also HATES perfume. I have had this on for a few hours now and it is still going strong. This lasts on me. It is lovely and I can't stop smelling my wrists. The longer this is on, the more the spice seem to pop. The floral is still there but it is soft and breathy and beautiful. This is very womanly. It is together and self assured while screaming trainwreck. This is a beautiful mess. I love it.

Okay I must be weird because I would have never thought coconut if I hadn't read the other reviews first. My first impression of this was bubblegum. After the initial shock of sweetness I smelled like a perfumey red hot. Cinnamon was all I could smell. This actually burnt my neck where I applied it for the first two minutes and I worried if I should wash it off. I was afraid I was having an allergic rection but after about two minutes it stopped. I haven't seen any other reviews that have picked that up so maybe my sniffer is off. Anyway after it dried down I could deffinately smell the coconut and a faint buttery vanilla. The cinnamon faded completely and I wonder if it wasn't the tobacco note I was smelling. There is also something that wants to be tart but can't quite compete with the lovely creaminess of this scent. Maybe this is the chardonay. I don't get liquor from it though. It is hard to pinpoint and gives this blend a mysterious quality. It is intriguing. I keep smelling it over and over because it is hard to figure out. Over all I really like this. It may be a little to perfumey for me because I tend to lean torward warmer, foodier stuff but it is awesome nevertheless.

Thank you so much for those suggestions. I figured I will try one more order before I throw in the towel so I will look those scents up. Also The suggestion to space them out and wait a little while is a good idea. I am going to try that too. (edited because I type like a doofus)

Well I have used egyptian goddes with no problem and I use patchouli amber too. Those are the two that seem to be okay on me. I just get tired of using the same two since I have been wearing those since highschool. I am assuming the musk in EG is egyptian musk? After reading through this thread I have found that alot of the scents I wanted to try all go powdery on someone so I may just be doomed to those two. I was wanting something warm, resiny, sweet, exotic, or spicy because fruit and strong florals give me a headache. I gave Morocco to my mom yesterday and she smelled fabulous! At least I have enabled another to take my place in the bpal run.

Well I said Scherezade didn't go powdery but I am taking that back. So far about all of my first order smells like powder. I am sooooo bummed. I waited so long for it to get here and I can't wear any of them. I have two babies and smell powder all day so I wanted to smell like a woman, not a mom. Well here is the offending list for anyone else with this problem. Snake oil (very strong Chantilly type powder) O (honeyed baby powder) Morocco (coying spicy baby powder) Dorian Wonderful at first. (Lemony beautiful goodness. Dry down= powder) Scherezade Beautiful and incensey at first, (dried down to a White Diamonds type powder smell) Blood Rose (wonderful rosey, wine then dried down to powdery rose) Sigh~~~~ I hate my chemistry.

I have this problem where scents are turning into baby powder or playdoh on me. So far I have had to bail on Snake oil, Morocco, and O. This saddens me because they sounded perfect in the reviews. Does anyone with this same problem know what ingredient causes this or have any recomendations for warm, resiny, spicy scents that don't turn like this? Dorian was really great but the only problem is it doesn't throw like I would like it to. I have heard people say that amber causes this but I wear patchouli amber all the time and it is wonderful. Oh yeah, the Scherezade that is supposedly so similar to Morocco did not do this so whatever the different note is between the two may be it.

When I first smelled this in the bottle I wanted to eat it. It was warm and sticky sweet like sex in a bottle. Unfortunately as soon as it hit my skin, the powder bomb struck again. I gave it a long time to fade down and the powder faded a bit. After about an hour it was warmer with lots of honey. That powder still lingered in the background. I really wanted to love this because without that powder note it is beautiful. Unfortunately I make powder scream and that is my least favorite note. I am gonna try this again in a few days to see if maybe it will change a bit. Update! I tried it again and I LOOOOOVE this!!!! OMG. This is perfection in a bottle. I am getting a couple of big bottles to have around. Too bad I didn't get in before the 10's were gone. This reminds me of a clean white musk dripping in honey and almonds. It has a (salty?) background that makes me think of kettle corn. Sweet yet salty and perfect. It is innocence with an edge and that is for me! The hubby liked it alot too and we never agree on anything. He is a hard core patchouli guy and thinks everything else is too perfumey. I am in love!

WOW! This is absolutely Gorgeous! Mmm! Milky tea, with a musky, citrusy untertone but not nasty citrus. A beautiful light non offensive citrus that is barely detectible. It is just enough to grab you and make you think twice about it. This is interesting. A bit mysterious and yet beautiful. This is my absolute favorite so far hands down.

I just tried this for the first time and I think I must be wierd because I don't smell rose at all. The scent reminds me of the store Spencers or a Halloween shop in the fall complete with candy and Autum air. I can pick up the dragons blood and a hint of the wine. It is warm and slinky. Very sexy. I really like this one although I will probably only wear it in the Autum, or for a nighttime excursion. This is a go out and have a magical, naughty, riot of a time, all night long scent. Wet this one was a bit strong and I wasn't sure if I would tolerate it. After the dry down (about 20 minutes) it softened and is lovely.
