WILHELMINA MURRAY With his left hand he held both Mrs. Harker's hands, keeping them away with her arms at full tension. His right hand gripped her by the back of the neck, forcing her face down on his bosom. Her white nightdress was smeared with blood, and a thin stream trickled down the man's bare chest which was shown by his torn-open dress. The attitude of the two had a terrible resemblance to a child forcing a kitten's nose into a saucer of milk to compel it to drink. Tea rose, white sandalwood and a flurry of pale, virginal blossoms, smeared with a smoky, blood-soiled blend of myrrh, hyacinth, Daemonorops resin, dark musk and blackcurrant. Van Helsing, Art, and I moved forward to Mrs. Harker, who by this time had drawn her breath and with it had given a scream so wild, so ear-piercing, so despairing that it seems to me now that it will ring in my ears till my dying day. For a few seconds she lay in her helpless attitude and disarray. Her face was ghastly, with a pallor which was accentuated by the blood which smeared her lips and cheeks and chin. From her throat trickled a thin stream of blood. Her eyes were mad with terror. Then she put before her face her poor crushed hands, which bore on their whiteness the red mark of the Count's terrible grip, and from behind them came a low desolate wail which made the terrible scream seem only the quick expression of an endless grief. Out of all the lovelies from the Order of the Dragon this one intrigued me the most for some reason. In the bottle: Doesn't jump out at you. It's a lovely, faint smell. Even though it isn't listed in the ingredients I want to say I smell my beloved amber. Applied this turns into one of the most incredible scents I've ever smelled. Words that come to mind are thick, smoky, gorgeous resins, golden. In a weird way it brought to mind the Black Moon series, particularly Schwarzer Mond, only this one smells a lot warmer and I'll say it again..."golden". As it dried I started smelling some floral notes, perhaps the tea rose, with a touch of some soft powder yet there is a spice there too. But oddly this doesn't turn into a floral-type blend. It keeps its warmth and glow with it's luscious resins and mmmm there's that flirty blackcurrant! Wow, I really don't have the adequate words to describe just how gorgeous this oil is. It's sexy, dark and warm at the same time, smoky and just plain beautiful. If this oil were a visual: I imagine walking into a room lined with gorgeous and richly colored orange and gold-threaded throw pillows. There is a haziness to the air. An amber incense wand is slowly burning as a Dead Can Dance CD is playing ever so softly in the background. Even though I've never been here I feel at ease so I sit down and the pillows engulf around me. The air is the perfect temperature, the feeling is perfect comfort, the colors are golden orange, the atmosphere is *rich*. I just want to sit like this for hours as I'm completely relaxed. Hope that makes sense

Hi Sweetie I'm terribly heart sick and worried about you. I'm sending you all my love, well wishes and support. There are a lot of people here who are so concerned and I pray to hear from you soon. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo Maddi -
If you are a "foody" like me...you are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE this. This is pure YUM

This reminded me of a sweeter Quincy Morris. I absolutely love it. I got part of my Yules today and it's in my top two with Haloa. I smell the tobacco and it's lovely. Slightly leathery ala Mr. Morris, and something deliciously sweet, almost chocolate. Gorgeous

I got this thinking it would be nice for my husband but I'm not going to lie...it has yet to move from my bpal box This is very subtle. I smell the cedar and "leather" first which made me think "OK, for Steve"...then, slowly, it started morphing into something very lovely and soft...perhaps it's the pear? Vanilla? I can't tell. I still smell cedar but it isn't overpowering and "man" cologne smelling. Maybe he'll get an imp...but I'm probably keeping the bottle

If you got some jolly ranchers, in watermelon flavor, and melted them in a cauldron on Halloween Eve....then had the "nice" fairies fly over with buckets of those crystallized sugar candies (the ones on the sticks) put them in the brew and start stirring like mad...you'd have this delicious scent. It's super sweet and yummy. I want to eat my arm. After a bit the lime and lemon come out to join the sugar candy, while the watermelon quietly bows out, to make this the perfect candy scent. Final verdict: Light and sugary with a hint of tart. Yum!

This has to be one of my most favorite scents EVER. Holy crap this smells good. Right away it reminded me of the combo I like to wear, Chrysanthemum Moon on one wrist, Schwartzer Mond on the other, then blend. Soooooo good! Every so often I smell a faint whiff of something vaguely floral, which is a wonderful surprise but nothing overpowering. Overall this scent is dark, spicy, sexy and *the* perfect Trick

I didn't have high expectations for this one working on me...just ordered it to help me reach my "must have all the LE's" goal....and so that my Kindly Moon wasn't lonely. See what happens when you think you wont like something...you wind up LOVING it!!!! This one is gorgeous! I can't stop sniffing my arm. I couldn't even begin to pull notes out of it because it is so well blended everything seems to fit. This isn't overly "guy smell" or "girl smell"...it's perfectly neutral. I don't get the cedar that other people talk about. Although "old library hallway" sort of works. It smells like knowledge and very ancient....ancestor spirits floating around a large round library room in a mansion...the kind that is five stories high that you need a ladder to reach the books way up high. Actually, I just re-read Beth's description and it's perfect! Abandoned and vast and ethereal and empty and smoky and all-knowing. Like the person who is wearing it has a secret. It's not in your face, has the perfect amount of throw and is sweet enough to make it pass for perfume but not overly sweet to where a guy couldn't or wouldnt want to wear it. This is a keeper for sure and a possible second bottle order. Gorgeous

This smells so familiar it's been driving me crazy. I know Ive smelled this before. It kind of reminds me of one of those SoBe citrus drinks. It's warm, citrus and peppery. There is a fair amount of floral throw that floral haters probably wont care for. edited to add: After aging it a bit it turned into sour apple juice on me So I wound up giving my bottle away to someone who will hopefully enjoy it

Another gorgeous blend. I smell lovely flowers...I think it's the plum blossom. It smells so good it's almost seems edible. This one reminds me of the beautiful smells that came from living behind a florist as a child. Doesn't turn soapy or powdery. After a bit it morphs into a lovely creamy flowery blend. Remains just plain beautiful. So far these have been amazing scents. One prettier than the other.

This scent is stunning. Off the bat I smell Oranges. Ripe, juicy oranges. Lightly dusted with sugar. Once applied I smell a slight floral, but orange is what stays in the forefront. "blood orange" is perfect. After a bit it morphs into a lovely, somewhat sharp, blend. It's bright and yet "dark" at the same time. How did she manage to capture that? This is one of my favorites so far. Lucy is beautiful

If there were such a thing as heaven in a bottle this would be it. I had heard of this one and was watching ebay every time a bottle went up but there was no way I could afford it. I knew I'd love it but resigned myself to the fact I'd probably never smell it let alone wear it. Then it was brought back...of course I had to buy a bottle. This is AMAZING. Do you love the way Starbucks smells? Fresh delicious warm coffee. Then this scent it for you. It's warm, comforting and simply delicious. Now I know what the fuss was about. Definitely in my top 3.

This one had the Red Lantern, Devil's Night, Hearth feel to it. It's fantastic. Maybe some sort Monsterbait concoction thrown in too. What makes this one unique is it has a sweet citrusy underlying throw that is just amazing. This is what is smells like when you walk through a open field, alone, on a chilly autumn night. There are pumpkins growing all around you and a forest is off in the distance.

Another amazing Halloween accomplishment. This one has more of an other-worldy, smoky feel to it. I definitely smell the incense and sugary currant. It has a slight sharpness to it. I know this goes against the description but this one had me thinking "up to no good" night out with some friends 20 minutes later...ahhhh, there is the cake. Kind of a spicy, sugary cake with raisins in it. Good grief this is good.

Very similar to Punkie Night except this one has a warmer feel to it. Definitely caramel apples...to perfection. I want to eat my arm These Halloween scents are to die for. Simply amazing.

So far, there isn't a single Halloween blend I'm not in love with. Punkie Night is no exception. My goodness, this is autumn captured in a bottle. I feel like I'm walking through a outdoor farmers market on a cool autumn evening. I just passed the lovely ripe red apples. They are aching to be made into warm cider so I put a few in my basket. The air is charged with the electricity of the cool breeze after a long hot summer. Halloween is on its way.

Count me in as another one who loves to layer this with Schwarzer Mond. Alone, both blends are gorgeous. Together they are stunning. Black Moon is the little sister of Schwarzer Mond. It's more subdued and demure. Extremely clean, crisp and fresh. I think the pear is the most forefront of the ingredients. This one makes me think of a beautiful, spakling stream, lit under the light of the moon. You know streams sometimes glisten under moonlight? This scent glistens. Gorgeous and possibly my favorite of the two, although it's close. Both scents are fantastic

I'm glad you had a different response to this than I did. On me, this was straight Vicks Vapor Rub About 25 minutes into wearing it it did get a little lighter and something was morphing but by that time it was very faint so I couldn't pick anything out. I'm going to let this set for a few days, sometimes oils I initially dont care for turn out to be ones I fall in love with later on. I have a feeling this might be one of them. ETA*** I am SO excited. Today I decided to try this one on again. Like I mentioned sometimes I think the oils need to just sit for a while before trying them out...to get the full beauty of this scent. I was so disappointed after I tried this initially because I figured my body didnt like it, yet the description sounded absolutely lovely. I put some on tonight, again, and let it sit there. Still got the menthol like yesterday...but after about 25 minutes this changed into one of the prettiest oils I've smelled. I SMELL RASPBERRY!!! Gorgeous raspberries covered in winter's first snow. LOVELY!!!! So this is a morpher and one that needs to set for a day or two. I have a sneaking suspicion that this will become even lovelier after a few more days of quiet time in the bottle. So to those who might not like this off the bat..you HAVE to give the carpa mountains another chance. I'm so glad I did

What a beautiful scent. I'm not sure how much more i can add to what's already been said. It's a lovely scent, dark and moody. If you like amber you'll love this one. It's sort of like a spicy amber. It's got great throw. I think what amazes me most about the black moon set is how lovely both oils are on their own and how lovely they are combined! i love putting Beth's blend on my left wrist, Brian's on my right and then I blend. It's gorgeous!

You've arrived at the gateway to the Carnaval, your ticket in hand, the craziness of Los Angeles is fading behind you. As you walk through the turnstile a group of little kids, just fresh out of school, pass you by. They are still wearing their school uniforms and have a box of lemondrops they are sharing between themselves. The lights are bright, almost too bright. You feel that whoever set up the carnaval really wanted it to be warm and inviting but it edges on the side of sinister without meaning to be. But this is the Carnaval, not Carnival, after all. The air has a smoky, hazy, tart feel to it. At first it's dizzying, just like the rides swirling around you. And just when you think you've had enough a set of warm, inviting, peaceful arms reach around you from behind and squeeze you into a hug...one that you KNOW but can't place just yet. You suddenly feel at ease. You get the sense that you need a ticket to exit. Will you be able to get one? At this point in time you don't care if you ever leave. You've felt these feelings before, smelled these smells before, seen these sights before, but where? They're familiar and you realize you were brought here on purpose. You *are* home. The Carnaval is your home. That's when you look down and see the exit ticket in your hand, it's been there all along. An empty box of lemondrop candy is next to you on the ground. You kick it aside and drop the exit-ticket from your grasp, watching it float to the floor. You step forward disappearing into the hazy cloud of intoxicating smoke.

My very first Carnaval arrived a few days ago and I *love* it. This scent is amazing. Very sweet and sugary like everyone else said. I also smell pretty flowers and something aquatic. If this scent were a visual, for me it would be a bouquet of midnight blue and deep purple flowers, sprinkled with glitter, alone and abandoned on the sand next to the ocean...it's 3am. (if that makes any sense ) Beautiful~

This was my very first lunacy and I really wanted it to work. It's not bad, but not something I'd seek out. It might have to grow on me. In the bottle it's a floral plus pepper. One it takes a sharp, bitter, smoky tone with some heady flowers swirling around. Out of all my bottles this one has the greatest throw, a drop will go a long way. I put this on yesterday afternoon and 5 hours later my husband still smelled it. There is something about the bitterness that doesn't agree with me. But then again I didn't like tobacco in any of my oils initially, now I'm in love with that...so I'm thinking this might grow on me. It smells really good when layered with The Perfumed Garden...that oil takes some of the punch out of the mum moon which makes it settle nicely...just a thought to those who don't care for the spiciness. try layering it with TPG or another floral to see if you can lighten it somewhat.

I didn't have PMS today but by bottle came so I had to test it Like the people above me wrote, it's not exactly a pleasing scent. It has a sharp, bitter, citrus scent that almost doesn't work. Almost. But something about it does work. I've had great results with other Panacea oils so Im going to trust that this will come in handy for me later this month But this isn't something I'd wear just because. Then again, that's not the point of the oil.

This one didn't work for me. Too much spice. It also took on a metallic smell to it after a while. But the imp is pretty, all tarted up, so I'm sure I'll keep it anyhow
-
The Pumpkin Patch lot has been interesting for me because they all pretty much smell the same in the bottle, but once applied they morph into lovely and distinct scents. This one is the creamy-spicy one
