    Whoso List To Hunt

Sensual brown musk, rich amber, English rose, oak bark, and moss. Whoso is earthy, musky and powdry. It starts off very rosey and woodsy, and after it dries, the amber comes in and softens the rose, bark and oak. I can detect a little moss, but it really isn't prevalent at all. I guess it just lends to the overall earthiness. As several hours have passed, this is all rose and amber and really reminds me of The Millers Daughter, yet Whoso is more prettier and softer.

    Detestable Putrescence

Melty vanilla ice cream! Sometimes vanilla can react really badly with my chemistry, so ordering two bottles blindly was definitely a risk. Thankfully this is a vanilla I can get behind. This is melty vanilla ice cream. Wonderful strong thorw, which is unsual for me, as foody blends don't seem to last. Perfect scent for the winter. Warm, comforting and extremely intoxicating.

    51

Soft pale musks, sweet melon, amber and a hint of woods. Somehow all the notes inside blend together to produce this wickedly feminine floral perfume that is stunning during the summer. It is cool and refreshing, but most definitely a seasonal blend for sure.

The Bow & Crown of Conquest

Herbal, woodsy leather mingles with carnation and vanilla. Whats not to love. It's masculine yet completely feminine. It contains alot of my favorite notes - Cedar, leather, carnation and lavender. The vanilla lightly sweetens the well worn leather and the sage combined with lavender produce this utterly herbal intoxicating scent.

    Penitence

Sweet, polished woods blended with resins. Slightly sweet & smoky, this is amazing layered with some of my favorites.

    Aelopile

Glowing amber and citrus, labdanum, verbena, cedar, and oud. Pretty simple blend of cedar, labdanum and citrus softened by amber and verbena. This is woodsy, slightly resinous and extremely lemony. Fortunately for me, I love cedar, I love lemon and amber is one of my go-to notes. A winner!

    The Brides of Dracula

I wasn't too sure if I should try this blend, as there seems to be alot going on inside. I was frimped this awhile ago, and have put off testing it for some time. However once applied I can't believe I haven't tried this sooner. This is stunning. Soft wispy florals sweetened by honey, and that unmistakeable note of skin musk which always seems to up the sex pot anty of a blend. Once the soft florals give way I detect sandalwood, and amber and hint of spice that all seem to blend together in this ridiculous way. My god this stunning. It is sexy and soft, yet spicy and decadent. I hate falling in love with an unobtainable blend. To think I chose Jonathan Harker and The Carpathian Mountains as bottle purchases when this was available. Gah!

    The Ecstasy of Passion

Wow. Right off the bat this is all red musk and sweet clove, but as it quickly dries on my skin this starts morphing right away. The red musk all but disappears into the background and I am left with a spicy clove scent that is sweetened by golden amber and the vanilla. Whiffs of musk continue to waft around me, making this blend very rich, very resinous and incrediably sexy.

    Fairy Wine

Mmmm. Delicious. This is definitely red currant wine sweetened with honey. Immediately upon application it kinda sparkles and feels very bubbly, almost like champagne. The green of the dandelions adds an earthy element, and helps to soften the sweetness of the currants and honey. Overall a beautiful blend.

    Brown Jenkin

Soft woodsy sandalwood with orris and coconut. Brown Jenkins is very light and very fuzzy on me. So comforting and snuggly, it is on of my favorites.

    Psychological Horror

This is the one I was most looking forward to from the new series. It is soft, powdry, musky and then there is something almost electrical, yellow, and very jolting afterwards. I can't describe it, but I have images of a metallic buzz or the look of lemon lime gatorade. Very weird.

    Sunbird

My Sunbird order arrived the other day, and I can't describe it, but holy shit is it ever good. The perfect scent to be wearing this time of year. While I was running around doing errands it mingled perfectly with the heat, and just morphed with my sweat. I know maybe gross, but it was stunning. I kept stopping and smelling myself. Kinda smoky and sweet. Amazing job Beth!

    Templum Victoriae Atmospheric Spray

This is stunning. It is probably going to even beat my beloved Snow White Spray and L'Estate. Soft, girly, powdry - this is all amber and frankincense, and it is gorgeous. I didn't realize there was an actual scent description, had I known it had beeswax in it, I probably wouldn't have sprayed it. The beeswax is undectable to my nose, and I swear there is a touch of rose somewhere in blend. So my little goblin squirt is going to be sprayed very lovingly and I only wish that this was offered in a bigger bottle all the time.

    Labores Solis

Oh this is heaven. Labores Solis feels dry and hot. Amber mingles with frankincense and chamomile. I adore the smell of chamomile it is slightly earthy, a little perfumey but most of all it is relaxing and soothing. Amber is one of my go to scents and along with frankincense, produces this herbal resiny sunbaked scent. Perhaps one of my favorite LE's that has been released this year.

    Blue Phoenix v2

Sweet ripe blueberries drizzled in vanilla. The berries are succulent, tart and very juicy. The vanilla is soft and understated. Mainly this is all blueberries, and very delicious.

    Lawn Gnome

Earthy burnt sugar and red currants. Right after applying I can smell vanilla cream, but just as fast as it appears, it also disappears just as fast. The burnt sugar note aka molasses is similar to sugar skull and it's not really my cup of tea, but again most notes in Lawn Gnome disappear in the wind. What I left with is earthy, green, berry smell with a hint of burnt sugar. Meh.

    Plastic Pink Flamingo

Sweet, herbal marshmallows. Creamy, sticky and kinda gooey.

Fizzy. Check Fruity. Check Sweet. Check This is a great summer blend. Fun, light, and totally drinkable. love it.

    The Festival of Anuket

Green, aquatic, almost airy. There is a sweetness to festival that isn't always present in aquatic blends. I find aquatics to be mostly unisex, which is why I love them, but this has perfume feel to it. Girly. I like it. I don't know how Beth does it, but the feeling and sense of shimmering gold is running all throughout this oil, and it lightens it right up.

    Season of the Inundation

Wet, black soil warmed by the sun and sweetened with balsam and cedar. Good god this gorgeous. Resiny myrrh and snow meld together and combined with the smooth woods this is herbal, medicinal and overall simply gorgeous. I am so glad I took the chance on a bottle.

    Tomoe Gozen

Beautiful. Bright bold black berry and red currants sweetened with honey. Golden amber along with honey gives Tomoe a sunkissed feel while pink pepper adds a touch of spice. However this is mainly a tart, fruity scent with hints of honey in the background.

    Regan

A sweet, creamy vanilla floral. Extremely soft with what appears to be traces of honey and fig in the background. The comparisons to Eden are bang on, while I like Regan a lot more. It feels powdry, lighter and more floral. Definitely a keeper.

    June Gloom 2009

I didn't expect June Gloom to be so perfumey and floral, but I am thrilled I took a chance. I thought this was going to be all citrus and slightly aquatic, and while it is aquatic, it is also fresh summer flowers blowing in the wind. I can barely detect fresh herbs, but I think what they do here is temper the floral explosion.

    Strawberry Moon 2009

Ripe strawberries, sweetened with sugar and green, green grass. It is juicy, lush and crisp. I love how the grass and strawberries combine for a very realistic smell of fresh picked strawberries, and I adore how this is not overly sweet. Beautiful scent for the summer.

    Bat of Longevity

This is the bat, I most wanted to try. I adore all of the notes, except I was confused by the tansy, as I am pretty sure I have never smelt it before. Immediately on skin this is lavender, sage and peach. Herbal and citrussy with a smidge of amber in the background. Swoon, I am in love. This is a lavender blend that has me shouting from rooftops, not snoring deeply.
