    Pandy

ITI: It smells like faint bubblegum (pepper and honeycomb combination) with orange blossom. Wet: I get the bubblegum note I tend to smell with pink pepper, along with the subtle sweetness of honeycomb, orange blossom, and a touch of musk. Feminine and beautiful. Dry: It dry downs to almost nothing. However, it could be that my nose is so stuffy that I can't smell it. Edit: Okay, I've been working ahead due to massive time commitments at work lately. Thank goodness, as I would have had to leave the review at that. Three days later and I can smell something! It smells like honeyed orange blossom with a delicious touch of musk and pink pepper. It's such a pretty scent.

    Jabberwocky

In the Imp (ITI): I was expecting more of a nasal assault, but instead the notes are subdued and muddled with orange and slightly astringent green. Wet: Ah, fresh eucalyptus and pine. I can't get any orange, but that's okay! Dry: Still eucalyptus and pine. No orange, but I love it nonetheless. I will certainly be adding Jabberwocky to my "to buy" list.

    Caligula

In the Imp (ITI): I get wine for some reason, but it's a sweeter wine than some of the other scents I've tested. On second sniff, I get vetiver and something that reminds me of oiled bronze. There might be a faint hint of citrus and myrrh. Interesting. Wet: Oh yeah, that is certainly red wine and vetiver. I''m still getting a little metal and something resinous, maybe a little darker that myrrh. Dry: Less bred wine now, but strong vetiver, patchouli, some myrrh, and maybe a touch of amber. Hmm, I actually like Caligula.

    Grog

In the Imp (ITI): Woo, that's spiced buttered rum, alright. Wet: The buttered aspect of the rum amps on my skin, although it is also rather boozy while still wet. Dry: I get more caramelized sugar, melted butter, and spiced rum, but there is something that has gone a little plastic-y.

    Séance

In the Imp (ITI): Rosewood and crushed rose petals. Pretty. Wet: The crushed rose petals are now the dominant notes, followed by the hazel and rosewood. The is a rather understated scent, but still alluring. Dry: Sweetened rose leaf and hazel with a touch of rosewood. Very pleasant

    Iambe

In the Imp (ITI): The combination of all the scents smells like watermelon bubblegum. My nose is confused. On second sniff, I can just discern the amber and patchouli under the watermelon scent. Wet: Yep, that's still watermelon. I get a little gardenia if I concentrate deeply, but it's watermelon bubblegum all the way. Dry: Faint watermelon now, flanked by patchouli and gardenia. It's much more mature once dried.

    Alice

In the Imp (ITI): It's very light. I get Earl Grey tea splashed with milk and a touch of honey. There is the faintest hint of bergamot underneath it all. Wet: More bergamot, carnation, tea, and milk. It's a rather civilized scent. It does remind me of an English circle circa 1900 drinking tea in a garden. Dry: Th bergamot paired with the milk and tea is slightly powdery, but in a comforting way. The carnation and faint rose provide a subtle backdrop against which the slightly stronger notes rest.

    To a Woman

In the Imp (ITI): Benzoin, rose otto, touches of cassis, and a roundness from the petitgrain. It's not super offensive, but I'm reserving judgment. Wet: Stronger rose otto, which I like, followed by benzoin and just a trace of peitigrain. It's behaving so far...good. Dry: The petitgrain rears its head, causing the whole scent to turn soapy. Poor rose otto is drowning it its suds.

    Expressive Head

ITI: Teakwood and patchouli with hints of cognac and pepper. Oh, very nice. Wet: Stronger teakwood and cognac together with a little vetiver now. I still like this a great deal. Dry: Mmm, the wood is balanced - teak infused with patchouli, champaca, and clove. Wonderful. I wish I had gotten a bottle of this.

    October

ITI: Oh, acrid a bitter, like crunchy leaves and squished, smelly ants. Wet: Dry autumn leaves, crisp wind, super pitchy sap, and something just a little perfumey. Dry: Still very sharp with leaves and sap, but a touch of aquatic as well.

    Samhainophobia

2011 ITI: It's floral but musky at the same time. Autumn leaves swirled in bourbon and patchouli, infused with balsam. Nice. Wet: The vetiver come out on my skin while the balsam strengthens over the other notes, to the point that I can only get a hint o bourbon and nothing else from the previously detected notes. Dry: The balsam has called down, although it and the vetiver are still dominant notes. There are subtle hints of the autumn leaves and clove coming out, making this a nice woodsy resinous scent.

    Ghosts In Love

ITI: It's floral and green with a little juiciness. I get tobacco flower, tea rose, magnolia, oudh, and carnation. It is a clean scent, especially along the lines of Linen. Wet: Juicy, floral, and slightly soapy. Tea rose, carnation, magnolia, lilt, and subtle hints of sandalwood. Very nice. Dry: Carnation, magnolia, with heavy whiffs of tea rose. The incense aspects of it has died down considerably.

    Halloween: Las Vegas

ITI: Yeah, that's re wine. To my nose, it's the smell of a check box wine mixed with Robitussin I do get the sugary sweetness of frosting, the vanilla aspects of Snake Oil/Dorian, and some musk. Wet: Boozy cherry wine, stale frosting, tobacco, musk and vanilla. I'm makes me a little uneasy for some reason. Dry: Wafers, stale red wine, vanilla, musk, incense no longer burning, and sugar from the frosting. It's better now, but I don't think I could put up with the dry down on a consistent basis.

    Clockwork Couture: Male

In the Imp (ITI): That's rice, actually. The clove coupled with the patchouli and galbanum provide softness and spice to the metal aspects of the iron. Wet: Delicious clove rubbed over brown leather. The notes above are infused with patchouli and sandalwood. Ooh, this is bad. I may need a bottle of this. Dry: It's much more of a drier spice after it's had time to settle. Clove and patchouli are clearly dominant, with sandalwood and hints of leather bring up the bottom notes. I'd consider tracking down a bottle of it.

    Drink Me

In the Imp (ITI): Ooh, that clearly is melting butter on warm toast. I really wasn't expecting that. I get warm hints of turkey and gooey toffee when I sniff for a second time. It's like Thanksgiving in a bottle. Wet: Lots of butter, sweet cherry tart fresh from the oven, and vary faint toffee mired in custard. Again, this scent is so bizarre that it is interesting. Dry: Buttered toffee and bread, like a yeast, floury bread, mingle together in an awkward concoction makes me twitch.

    The Lotus Tree

In the Imp (ITI): Honey, lotus, and something slightly citrusy. Wet: Bubblegum, honey, and musk produce a hazily sweet scent. Dry: As it begins to dry, I get a hint of lemon, powdery overtones.

    Phoenix Steamworks

In the Imp (ITI): It smells like machine oil and metal with middle tones of thick, heady incense. Wet: Strong oily metal, but the metal smells like bronze. The sage pops up and invites the incense to play, but it seems shy on my skin. Dry: Now that it is dry, it reminds me of men's cologne. It smells like metal with sage and a touch of dark incense.

    Devil's Night

ITI: It smells like sharp booze with a little artificial sweetness from the sugar. Wet: Less sharp, although it still smells like pitch in the background of the musky sugar and touches of splashed booze. Dry: I get lots of sugar plus a great deal of musk. I'm on the fence with this scent.

    Rapture

In the Imp (ITI): Strong jasmine, thick musk, sensuous myrrh together make me want to swoon. It smells great! Wet: While it stays close to the ITI scent, I can now detect the neroli on my skin. Dry: After 13 hours, I can't smell anything. After reapplication and quick dry, it's strongly resinous with neroli, myrrh, and something that smells like a little patchouli. The jasmine gets a little soapy on my skin, but the rose keeps it from a bathroom-only scent.

    Halloween: Brooklyn

ITI: It's very woodsy with lots of green, almost to an astringent level. The arborvitae, pine, and spruce are very clear. They just jump out of the imp and assault my nose. There is a little softness from the cherry and moonflower if I concentrate. Wet: Heavy spruce and arborvita - green and still astringent. There is still a bit of cherry, but when paired with the greenness, it comes across as kind of soapy on a deeper level. Dry: It smells like I wanted though a shrub garden. I get less softness and it ends up being too green, which is significant because I adore green scents.

    All Saints'

2010 vs. 2011 version ITI: The patchouli in the 2011 is much stronger than in the 2010 - I'm sure this accounts for the darker oil color as well. The fir needles are less detectable than the previous version. Wet: The nutmeg is stronger in the 2011 version on my skin. I'm still getting a woosdy, fir scent from the 2010, but it's just a touch "colder" than the 2011 version. Dry: Once dried, the two versions are nearly indistinguishable.

    The Hag

ITI: Nice. I get bourbon vanilla, run, musk, and something sweet, like caramelized sugar. Wet: The black musk is much clearer now, followed by rum, bourbon, and faint sweetness of currant. Dry: I get much more spiciness (galangal I think) as it dries, like spiced rum and musk with a little bay. It’s appealing and a little disquieting.

    Mouse Circus

ITI: This reminds me of those popcorn balls little kids used to make around October in elementary school - popcorn, caramel, peanut butter, and lots of sugar. I don't get any cotton candy, though. Wet: Yes, I still get popcorn balls, although there is more vanilla and a touch of strawberry cotton candy when I inhale deeply. Dry: Caramel popcorn, sugar, and warm cotton candy. It's so overly foody that I think I may like it.

    Strawberry Moon 2012

ITI: Strawberry honey, strawberry juice (the thin, sugary kind), and a little grass. It's bordering on too artificial and it's rather sugary to my nose. Wet: Better. It smells like sliced strawberries, strawberry jam, vanilla, and just a touch of dandelion. It's still artificial, but the other notes make it less problematic for my nose. Dry: There is more of a green earthiness to the scent from the grass and dandelion sap, although the strawberry is still too sweet and bordering on artificial, like sugared frozen strawberries from freezer bag.

    Opium Poppy

In the Imp (ITI): Clearly opium, but I get something that is a little reminiscent of Chanel No. 5. Wet: Heady opium and just a subtle influence from the poppy. It's close to overwhelming at this point, but I do like the headiness of it. Dry: I get heady opium and light poppy, but I get something a little powdery once dried. It's still a scent I would consider wearing on occasion.
