In the Imp (ITI): Ugh, sharp petitgrain with tonka. It smells like green foxtail stickers. Wet: It's much more behaved with with a balance of the petitgrain with strong bergamot, amber, and tonka. It does remind me of the gentle and delicate texture of butterfly wings. Dry: It's much better dried. It's mostly brown, fuzzy tonka with amber and bergamot. I'm relieved!

A scent swirling with dark rage, unbridled jealousy, and murderous intent. Violet, lavender, white musk and vetiver. In the Imp (ITI): On first sniff, I quickly put the bottle down and walked away. I don't know what it was about the first impression that turned me off, but the notes should have been appealing. Vetiver and really sharp lavender on second sniff. It's overpowering. Wet: It's wet, musky, and slightly moldering, which must be the vetiver paired with the musk. I get a little lavender, but it reminds me of lavender dusk. Dry: It's much better dried - Strong violet and musk with a hint of smoky lavender.

In the Imp (ITI): Wow, strong leather followed by vetiver and cinnamon. This paints a picture of a rogue clad in leather riding down a forested trail. Wet: Wet, smoky vetiver and leather are most dominant, with hints of jasmine peaking through. Dry: The scent stays true to its wet notes, never straying from the leather and vetiver. It's truly a masculine scent.

In the Imp (ITI): Cinnamon leaf, patchouli, incense, paired with lilies and jasmine. It's heady and seductive, although I get the impression or marzipan for some reason. Wet: It's very similar to in the bottle, but I get bergamot and saffron together...which seems to be making it smell like marzipan to me. Dry: Now, I get lilies, cinnamon leaf, jasmine, and patchouli. I don't get the marzipan anymore, thankfully. However, there is just something I don't like about it for some odd reason.

In the Imp (ITI): White chocolate hits my nose first, but followed closely by the lilac, iris, and violet, I actually find the chocolate appealing. Wet: Lilac, white chocolate, violet, and light sandalwood. It’s warm and inviting while being feminine and not overtly foody. Dry: Violet is now running the show, which I adore. It is followed by the white chocolate orris, white sandalwood, and a touch of lilac. It’s nicely balanced. Other Impression

ITI: I get apple blossoms and pulp, mulberry, juicy pomegranate juice, and some other fruit that is not as sweet, which might be the azaroles. Wet: Apple pulp pomegranate (although smells slightly synthetic), and some mulberry tinged with blackberry. Dry: It's berried and fruits, but paired in such a way that they are festively autumnal.

In the Imp (ITI): Sweet red rose in full blossom. The leather isn't evident at all, but I don't mind too much. Wet: Lovely red rose still, but now I get the impression of leather as well. I wish the leather was stronger, but I still really like this. Dry: Faint rose and a touch of leather. Oh, I wish there was more leather.

In the Imp (ITI): Smokey dragon's blood resin is present, although a bit overshadowed, by the honeyed vanilla. It's certainly intriguing, though. Wet: Think honey and amber with a faint touch of smoke from the Dragon's Blood resin. Dry: Delicious resin and a combination of honey and vanilla that makes to resin alluring and manageable.

In the Imp (ITI): Rich and ripe tropical fruit followed by heady florals and something that's just a little soapy and odd. Wet: It smells a little like rubberized tar for just a couple seconds, but then I get tropical fruit and an aquatic tone to the mountain breeze. Dry: It's not very long lasting. I tested four scents about 5 hours ago and this one I can't pick up at all. Retested freshly dried, the fruits and florals have overcome all the astringency and chemically qualities of the other note, leaving a soft powderiness I can attribute to the amber.

In the Imp (ITI): Sweet berries and peppermint snow just a dollop of pine. I'm barely getting any of the listed notes other than the snow. Odd. Wet: I still get that minty snow and pine combination, although I am getting the fainest impression of lily. I like this if it doesn't change. Dry: As it dries down, the florals become more evident. It's slightly soapy and it smells like thick lilies with just a touch of vanilla'd snow.

In the Imp (ITI): While the description is vague, I clearly get red wine, followed by fig, and a touch of resin. Wet: Lots of red wine, but almost rancid. I get fig or something deliciously dark and just a hint of resin. Dry: I get sweet myrrh and frankincense supported by light red wine and something "darker." It's interesting, but the wine throws it off for me.

ITI: Wow, it's a very cool scent. I get coconut and cucumber - nummy. Wet: Hmm, it's sweet and slightly green from the cumber. The tonka and teak are a neat combination with the coconut, which emerges stronger as it dries. Dry: It's muskily sweet - coconut tonka, and teak with just a hint of cucumber. Sadly, the sage never shows, but it's still a wearable foody scent with a bit of intrigue to it.

ITI: The red brush tea is pretty clear on first sniff, followed by the sweetness of lotus and peach. It's certainly a pretty scent. Wet: Hmm, spicy, clean, and berry-based, which I assume is front the teal. There is a luscious aspect from the peach and the myrrh offers a subdued spice that doesn't overpower but balances the notes very well. Dry: I get myrrh, red brush tea, amber, and just a hint of fruit. It's wearable and feminine.

In the Imp (ITI): My first impression is that it smells like a sweet cologne. I get the vanilla orchid and the tonka muddled with amber and something that smells very so slightly of berries. Wet: Warm amber and tonka with brown leather that gently supports the orchid and moss. It's rather pretty. Dry: Tonka, amber, deliciously worn and supple leather, with hints of vanilla orchid and moss. Wonderful!

In the Imp (ITI): Dense pine and juniper are all I can get out of the scent in the imp. As a fan of green, this bodes well for me. Wet: Thin, dense forest (pine and juniper still), with swirls of indulgent opium smoke set against the dimming sunlight. If I concentrate, I can tease out the rose, but no lilies, which is fine by me. Dry: Delicious fresh opium smoke against a faint green backdrop of grape vines and a forest in the far distance. Delightful!

In the Imp (ITI): Luscious, ripe apricots...real apricot smell. Yum! There is a little spice here, but I don't get clove completely - more like cinnamon. Wet: Ah, here is the apricot, warm, freshly baked, soft from the heat and surrounded by clove and a dash of nutmeg. Dry: Lovely clove with warm apricot tart. Ugh, of course I would love this and then find it has been discontinued.
-
In the Imp (ITI): I get strong jasmine followed by tuberose, then a touch of sweet lime. Wet: It still smells very similar to the ITI notes, but the scent has this off-putting overtone of primer paint. Dry: No more paint primer, thank goodness. I just get lime and something powdery. While this is a promising scent, I wouldn't reach for it again.

In the Imp (ITI): Delicious and lightly sweetened grapefruit with just a touch of red currant. Wet: Grapefruit with a touch of rind, some delphinium and chamomile, and musk round out the scent. It's pretty, but I liked the sweeter aspect in the bottle. Dry: The astringent aspect of the rind is gone, leaving me with lovely grapefruit tinged in musky sweetness, paired with red currant and soothing chamomile. Love it!

In the Imp (ITI): Heady red wine and musk with a touch of rose otto. Hmm, the red wine is really strong here. Wet: Overly sweet red wine, thick and sultry musk with subtle hints of myrrh and rose otto. If the red wine dies down, this scent will go on the keeper list, but red wine always turns to cough syrup on my skin. Dry: Wow, the wine hasn't gone all cough syrup on me. Instead, the scent is dominated by the myrrh and musk, whereas the red wine and rose meld together to add a palatable and alluring sweetness.

ITI: It smells like super sweet vanilla, musk, and some lily under all of that. Wet: Thick vanilla pudding, musk, orchid, and a touch of lilac on my skin. Dry: The orchid, lily, and lilac are more evident dried on my skin. However, there is still a light tone of musk and vanilla to soften the florals and keep them from becoming soapy.
-
In the Imp (ITI): Bread pudding, lemon zest, cream, and nutmeg. Ohh, this is rather interesting. Wet: It's very similar as ITI, although there is more of a vanilla to it, but the lemon zest gets stronger as it starts to dry down. Dry: While it didn't last 12 hours, when dry earlier on it smelled of warm pudding with vanilla and cinnamon.
-
ITI: Sweet, sugared pomegranate, strawberry, and a touch of cognac. It's super sweet in the bottle, but it reminds me a little of childhood dress up and that fun fruit-flavored lip gloss. Wet: Strawberry, pomegranate myrrh and a touch of warm cognac. Even thought this is slightly foody, I enjoy it. Dry: Pomegranate, strawberry, vanilla, musk, and myrrh. I like it!
-
ITI: Hmm, an aquatic for sure. It smells like freshly cleaned toilets to me with a touch more orchid. Wet: I still get that nasty aquatic association, but more musk and a tinge of green from the oakmoss I think. Dry: Ok, most of the aquatic ickiness is gone. I'm left with musk, orchid, and oakmoss. It isn't bad now, but not something I'd reach for again.

ITI: I get galbanum, thick resin, sweet frankincense, something almost like clove, and lost of rest musk. It's moody and certainly fits images I have seen of such Slavic red dragons. Wet: Red musk, almost bordering on dragon's blood, galbanum, thick incense, frankincense and something sweet and almost fruity. Dry: Lovely and resinous with frankincense and lots of musk, and perhaps a touch of vanilla from some where. It's intriguing and something I think will suit fall and winter perfectly.

ITI: Fresh herbs from the garden, including anise, something that smells a little like green banana, and smoky, polished leather. What an interesting scent. Wet: Ah, now I get green grass (not freshly mowed, but healthy, living grass), followed by the leather note, which has turned slightly smokey. The herb note is rather faint. Dry: Dried for 30 minutes, it smells like grass, a little lemony herbiness, and the faintest hint of leather.
