    Dublin

ITB: Clean, and green. Maybe a hint of lemon? Wet: Mint? Something herby. No florals yet. Dry: Green, and wet, like damp forest loam (Who reads descriptions?) and I finally smell some rose. My room-mate swears she smells cinnamon, but I don't. As this is drying, the rose is coming out more and more, and the leafy smells are retreating. 30 mins later: Yuck. Rose and my skin apparently is all kinds of bad. Whatever it is, it smells icky. This one was nice, until the rose killed it. I think I will like it as a room scent better. It might be a regift to a friend, as she really likes rose scents. I won't be wearing this though, since it goes yucky on my skin. If it stayed the way it smelt wet, then we'd be on. But no deal. *goes off to scrub wrist*

    Scherezade

In the Bottle: Musk and spices, and resins?. Intriguing. Very Middle Eastern. Wet: Spicy and warm, it smells like my favourite esoteric bookstore. You know the kind. Beaded curtains, and incense burning in the back, crystals and aromatherapy oils on one wall, with books and statuary elsewhere. Dry: Hasn't really changed in the drydown, which I'm loving. The musk is definitely there, with spicy undertones. Not sure what saffron smells like, so I'm not sure if that is the unnamed yumminess I smell, but whatever it is, it is divine.

    Fenris Wolf

The raw, untamable power of chaos. Rosewood, amber, red musk and a dribble of red sandalwood. In the Bottle: Sweet and musky, and what I think is amber. Wet: Deliciously musky and woody. Wild smelling. Very sensual, to me. Dry: Warm and sweet, musky, and woodsy at the same time. It smells...like a deep, burnt red colour, pulsing with a raw power. This would be gorgeous on a man too, but I'm keeping it all for myself.

    Dragon's Claw

Dragon's Claw: In the Bottle: Sharp and bright, but also kind of sweet not sure..maybe cherries? Wet: sandalwood, and air freshner? fabric softner? Not sure...but still nice. Incensy and woody. Dry: sweet and woody, with maybe some floral? Or is that the Dragon's blood... 2 hrs later: Hanging close to the skin, very nice blend of sandalwoods, with just a hint of sweetness which I imagine is the Dragon's Blood. It's gone slightly powdery, but in a good way. This one is my favourite, so far. I adore Sandalwood. 6 imps tested, 8 more to go.

    The Unicorn

The Unicorn: In the bottle: Green and herbal, with some flowers. Not too sweet though, more clean and natural. Wet: Beautiful. Flowery and slightly herbal. Innocent, and glowing. Dry: The herb note died, sadly. But the flowers are staying, and they smell delicious. Soft, and sweet, and ethereal. 15 mins later: Where is it? I can't smell it anymore! It disappeared all too quickly for how gorgeous it was. I applied in 3 places (both wrists and the crook of my arm) and the crook of my arm is only faintly smelling of the Unicorn. This makes me feel very pretty and feminine

    Dana O'Shee

Dana O'shee In the bottle: Almonds. Lots and lots of almonds. Wet: Almonds and Vanilla. Dry: Almonds, vanilla and honey. Kind of smells like an Almond Steamed Milk. This is very light, and kind of foody to me. I'm not really a fan, but my room-mate seems to like it. EDIT: A month later, and I discovered that I actually do like this one. Funny, because I'd sworn to never wear it again, and then found myself in need of some BPAL therapy, and it was all I had in my purse. It's still very foody, but after that initial wear, I now get a more grainy feel from it, and so I don't feel like a giant marzipan confection.

    Anne Bonny

Anne Bonny: In the Bottle: incensy but bright; patchouli and sandalwood. Wet: Mellowing out a bit, less bright, more heady. Sweetish and spicy (I think that is the frankincense). Dry: Still spicy, but I smell less patchouli, and more sandalwood/frankincense. Which is good, since patchouli isn't my favourite. Although, I feel like the scent in general is a little light, but maybe I'm not used to how much to apply, since this is my first time using BPAL. 2 Hrs later: Very faint, but still spicy and woody. And positively amazing.

    Black Opal

Black Opal: In the Bottle: something earthy, and a hint of creamy vanilla. It really reminds me of polished stone...not opals, but granite. Very light smelling. Wet: Vanilla, and something darker. So far, so good. Smells gorgeous, and I'm not really into vanilla. Oh, and I think there is a hint of coconut. But just a hint. Dry: The vanilla has softened a little and I smell something spicy lurking in the background now. No more coconut, thankfully. 10 mins later: Oh look...minty goodness is showing through. I was hoping that would pop up, like some people said. This is so light, I'm worried I'm going to have to reapply every hour or so, but it will be worth it because it is delicious. 2 hrs later: Didn't fade as fast as I thought it was going to. Deceptive, but a good thing. This one is just gorgeous. I love it. I can't stop smelling myself. I might be *slightly* influenced by the description, but I swear it smells like opals in my mind. Creamy, dark and smooth, but with little hints here and there of something brighter.

    Shattered

In the Bottle: Sharp, wet smelling, citrusy. I think I smell bergamot, but I'm not sure...might be leftover scent from my soap. Wet: Yum! Citrus and mint, and sharpness. It is cold, and crystalline smelling. Dry: Still sharp, citrus, mint and floralish. Divine, but seems to be very short lived.
