Ohmygoodness, I need a big bottle right now. All I get is frankincense and cinnamon, with just a touch of floral. But it's so beautiful, and it's like a second skin scent. It's warm and inviting, and I can see wearing this as an every day scent. Alas, the imp leaked in transit, so I only have a little bit of oil, so I will slather and buy a big bottle as soon as I can.

In the vial, Wanda is all wine and the hot slap of leather. On me, it's all wine and leather with the faintest undertone of floral and hot, wet musk. It's all about sexuality and control, and boy, do I love it. *big thumbs up* I also, after a while, get a hint of something citrus, but that might be my skin reacting to the leather notes -- I got a similar effect in Perversion and Severin.

Holy hell, Villain has made me rethink my hatred of lavender. In the vial, I'm not at all sure about it, but I've learned the hard way to test everything. So on it goes. On me, it's all about the sex. The lavender is soft and sweet, and I get whiffs of lime and other citrus, along with a touch of musk and a spattering of lilac -- I definitely get the Whitechapel vibe, only not nearly as strong or with the overwhelming floral. Overall, a soft, winsomely sexy blend that I'm going to hoard.

On me, Shroud is very sandalwood and not much else. And all I could smell in the vial was sandalwood and very, very light herbs. I'm not that fond of sandalwood, alas.

In the vial, I get sweet, but bitter, orange (neroli?) and white floral. On me, it's all patchouli and white floral, and I really can't stand the combination -- it smells strangely dirty for a floral, and strangely sweet for patchouli. And I'm going to go wash it off now.

Eh... I'm not really sure what I think about Masquerade. In the vial, it's dry and dirty, very bitter and I definitely pick out patchouli. On me, it's dry and dirty, rather quite bitter, but with a bite from the carnation and just a hint of orange blossom. But you only smell the carnation and orange blossom when you exhale. I kind of like it, but the bitter and dusty/dirty scent makes me hesitant.

Veil is a very metallic floral in the vial. It's floral, but it's got a tinge of something that smells like it's been shot through with molten metal. On me, Veil is a lesser version of Sacred Whore of Babylon -- it's almost all gardenia, but without the sweet & spice of Sacred Whore to keep it balanced. So, it's a rather off-kilter floral that, fortunately, seems to be disappearing from my skin rather quickly.

In the vial, I'm not sure what this reminds me of -- it's something I'd never normally think of, I'm sure. On me, it's very cedar and vetiver for the longest time, then I get hints of the olive leaf and a rush of raspberry that drowns everything else out till it falls to the wayside and I'm left with pencil shavings mixed with olive oil. My skin doesn't play nice with cedar, I'm finding.

Narcissus usually hates me -- but the combination of vanilla and orange blossom really redeems it. It's warm and sensual, deep and sweet but with a tang. This is similar to Ravenous, but without the patchouli that made me gag. Hunger is very pretty and might, MIGHT win out for a big bottle. ADDED July 6: Hmm... in the vial, I don't entirely like the idea of putting Hunger on my skin. On my skin, it's very powdery, slightly sweet, and ever so slightly orangey. At least the narcissus doesn't smell like poo on me today, but it's just a little too powdery for my tastes on my skin.

Hmm, in the vial, March Hare is all apricot and peach. On me, it's kind of waxy apricot like a candle, spiced with clove and, I swear, cinnamon and some other kind of spice -- nutmeg, maybe? It makes me very happy, oh my goodness -- very, very happy. And even as it's sticky sweet, it's just utterly delightful in its slight spiciness and the spiciness detracts from the big, wet, sticky fruit scent. It's soooo nice and pleasant.

In the vial, I smell patchouli and rose, with just a touch of sandalwood. On me, it's all patchouli and sandalwood... and it itches, so I'm going to wash it off before it starts to burn. I wish I could let it sit and see if the patchouli died down a bit, but that's not going to happen.

I love Tushmanatay -- I'm not big into sandalwoods or patchouli (and I do get patchouli in there), but this is just so calming and soothing. I get patchouli and sandalwood in the base, with some spice and a touch of chocolate and a hint of floral. Tushnamatay is both dominant and submissive in alternate breaths, mingling together to calm and soothe the nerves and de-fray the edges of the brain.

Wrath has overtaken Blood as my favorite Dragon's Blood blend -- leaving Blood battered and beaten to a pulp waaaay back in the distance, even. Wrath is the child of Blood and Three Witches. It has the dragon's blood and clove from Blood, and the cinnamon and pepper from Three Witches, blended into a caconophy of delicious spiciness that lasts forever.

Dragon's Blood and musk -- deep and spicily sensual, delightfully dark and biting. After a few hours, it settles into a spicy musk like Scherezade, with just a hint of sweetness from the currants. Love it, love it.

In the vial, this is a clear, crisp scent. On me, it's lemon verbena soap with a shot-through of fig that only comes up once in a while. That's all she wrote.

Skadi is spruce and warmth -- it's very similar to Ice Queen, but warmer and not so much like breathing in an icicle. After a while, I get spruce, but then there's that lovely pine note from Hemlock that I adore, and an undercurrent of orange that just might be my skin having fun. Overall, a winner.

Oh yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about... The imps of Snow White that pkwench gave me were starting to de-scent and lose some of the elements of the blend that I loved so much, and boom -- full bottle, chock full of happy, happy delight. This is the holy grail of scents for me -- simply buttery, soft floral that's so light and pretty that doesn't fade for hours. *adores Beth & worships at her feet*

In the imp, Swank is all luscious pomegranates and deep, bitterly effervescent booze. Yummeh! On me, strangely enough, I can't smell any pomegranate at all -- everyone else can smell it, but I can't. And the booze notes become vaguely floral. So I smell like a floral martini. Everyone else thinks I smell like a pomegranate martini, but I can't smell the pomegranate on me at all. I have no idea what's the matter with my nose, but I do rather like it.

My bottle of Gingerbread Poppet is very similar to the imp that I aquired from ChupaChup earlier this summer. However, this bottle is much stronger on the ginger + nutmeg + cinnamon and less strong on the molasses + cookie notes that I loved so much. It is a nice compliment to Villainess's Gingersnapped soap and Smooch.

I was set to hate this, because mint and lotus hate my skin. But I'm pleasantly surprised -- in the bottle, Frost Moon is a very delicate, ethereal blend, but with a piercing "smell me" aspect that draws you in. It's what you would imagine one of the Frost Faeries from Fantasia wearing while she dances around and spreads the frost crystals over the landscape. On me, it's very similar to Blue Moon, which I assume is the "traditional lunar oils" speaking. The mint sticks around for a while and the eucalyptus lends a shot of intensity to the blend -- and the lotus manages, for once, to blend with my skin and not go so intensely bubble-gum that I hate it. My goodness, Frost Moon, how I love thee!

In the bottle, this smells just like a fresh snickerdoodle. Yummeh! On me, the cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and what I would almost swear is black pepper, take the top and dance around with reckless abandon, but you can still smell the sugary cookie base beneath it. Oh my gosh, this is mucho sexay.

I love the smell of this in the vial -- it's very true to spiked egg nog, and really, is rather delicious smelling. Once it's on my skin, though, it's almost completely sucked up. I like it when it comes back and starts throwing some sweet, spiced brandy-vanilla, but just in general, I'll have to slather like crazy with it.

Who all's smelled Yankee Candle Co.'s Snow Angels scent? *raises hand* Ice Queen = Snow Angels. But whereas Snow Angels got in the air and choked the whole family, Ice Queen is nice and light and coldly beautiful on my skin. Ice Queen is a scent that glitters and threatens to stab you through the heart with a shard of iced-over glass, much like in the fairy tale. Looove it.

I've been having trouble finding a plummy BPAL that doesn't get a funky candlewax scent on my skin. But this is the one -- it's thick, ripe, juicy plums with a touch of winter berry, sugar and spice, on top of a light breath of sweet & herby floral. I'm in love, and I'm glad I overcame the stigma of plums to order this.

In the vial, I'm not sure about this one -- it's very ozone and aquatic with a lot of floral and a splash of citrus. It's the floral that I'm worried about. However, I shouldn't have been worried -- the instant I put this on, sure it was all floral, but it was a tolerable kind of dry, citrus floral. And then it hit me that on my skin, Queen of Diamonds is an exact dupe for Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers, which was my favorite perfume till I was about 16.
