imp: fruit and herbs wet: strange...it smells...FLUFFY! Sweet but not too sweet and soft but not too soft. Beautiful! dry: stays lovely sweet musk. Some peach arrives and then fades. The musk remains. Great lasting and good throw. Verdict: Very pleasant! a keeper!

imp: Fruit FESTIVAL! WOOHOO! Berries and citrus and nectarines and lemons. mmmm... wet: lovely citrus!!! Gorgeous!!! dry: Gets a little faint after 2 hours but stays gorgeous. Light and pleasant! YUM! I'd like this to last longer, but it is just so beautiful I might use it anyway. Verdict: YUMMY! A keeper!

imp: herby minty fruity wet: bergamot? dry: minty, fruity, and cool. A very icy scent to my nose. Verdict...maybe now and then...we'll see. ADDED 1/2/08: too sugary sweet. Nauseatingly so. Must wash off!!!

imp: WHOAH! Strong and hard to pin down. Do I smell wood? herbs? wet: RUBBING ALCOHOL!!!! dry: SAME! (Hubby says later that it reminds him of the novacaine swab that the dentist uses) Gets spicey after about an hour and 40 minutes. Verdict: disappointing.
-
imp: cardamom and cinnamon. wet: sour old Big Red gum. dry: smells like Big Red gum that someone has chewed all the flavor from. Verdict. No way.
-
imp:super-sweet headachy-floral...(probably the desert cereus) wet: musky/sweaty sweet flowers. Also a chlorophyll smell that reminds me of the smell of cactus leaf sliced and gooey, and a very sweet flower. dry: no more sweaty smell or greeney chlorophyll smell. Now there are heavy florals (cactus possibly, but more likely cereus) with a faint cocoa base waaaaaaaaaaaaay down at the bottom. It stays a little bit too strong on the cereus note for me. I'll have to ponder if I am ever in the mood for this one.

imp: fruit, sugar. wet: some kind of sour flower is coming up from the bottom. I smell the musk (that may be making it a bit sour right now) and the spicey carnation. dry:this has a lovely warm spiciness, but there is too much if a "perfume-y" note that I am guessing may be the particular musk being used here. After 2.5 hours it all gets play-dough-y and very light. meh.

imp: 1st sniff...fruit. 2nd sniff...COCOA!!! wet: wood, cocoa, fruit. mmmmmm... Dry: the fruit goes slightly candy, but the cocoa really grounds it. I like it very much.
-
imp: lix a stix candy powder with cheap, flat champagne. wet: same but with old squashed mint leaves. dry: stale mint syrup. Nah.
-
imp: Jean Nate bath splash wet: weird...warm Jean Nate with something odd...cheap powder and cheap booze. dry: too baby-powdery for me!! ble. Secret baby powder deodorant.
-
imp: luscious fruit wet: fruit and some dry herbs...gets metallic. dry: fruity burnt plastic bugspray! EEEEEEEEWWWWWWW!!!
-
imp: grapefuit wet: grapefruit and something stinky. dry: nasty, perfume-y flowers and grapefruit. ICK!
-
imp: musk and sweet sultry florals. wet: spicy and warm! I like it! dry: spicy and warm (good for fall/winter) but I am not sure about this---it's a little heavy in a bad way. I'm not sure it is "me." Verdict: it's not unpleasant, but it is not really pleasant either. I think there is a "too perfume-y" note that is probably from the particular musk being used. Some like me and some don't...still working out which do which.

imp: has a cool breeze, warm desert smell about it. I can smell soft, sueded leather like doeskin. There is a dusty herbalness too (sage?). wet: the cool breeze note has actually become a little "watery" or "aquatic" on me. hmmmm... dry:this gets very soft on me without much of a smell at all...just a softness. Later I can smell the grasses, but they are green rather than dry. It is a very faint smell, not the overpowering scent of freshly mowed lawn... Verdict: It is really too light on me and is rather average. Oh well.
-
imp: gooey chocolate brownie! MMMMMMMM!!! wet: cocoa grande! lovely! It smells like powdered hot chocolate as it is drying. It goes through about 2 minutes of a metallic smell. Dry: It is a nice cocoa for a little while, but then the metallic notes comes back. My hubby doesn't smell it, but I do. Oh well. Probably a good thing since it is an old LE. Verdict: nahhhhh.
-
imp: buttery sweetness with a kind of butterscotch...and a little buttered popcorn to my nose. wet: soft buttery sweetness. dry: sweet pinkness. Hubby says it smells like pepto bismol, but I don't think so. To my nose it smells like fruit and cake and buttercream icing. Verdict: I'll have to think about this one since hubby thinks it smells like pepto and I like it.
-
imp: buttery sweet candy---like toffeee with extra butter. wet: same with a little salt when I put more on and sniff. I also smell a smoke smell and metal and a dirty fairground smell. dry: MORE of the same metal smell. The sweetness is still there, but the metal is so strong (and some other folks can smell the metal too) that I have to wash it off. Verdict: SWAPS!
-
imp:reminds me of Scherezade only less "warm." wet: same, but more of a tang of commercial perfume and flowers. dry: OHHHH MYYYYYY! A gorgeous RICH scent that becomes more and more a delicious warm vanilla (so far, my perfect vanilla, I'd say) as the hours pass. It has incredible throw all day and more. Verdict: Probably my alltime BPAL favorite so far. I just can't believe how AMAZING this turns as the day wears on. I can even smell it in my hair the next morning. I wish I had MOOOOOORE!!! This is what I had HOPED Snake Oil would smell like on me.

bottle: strawberries and cream creamsaver candy. yummy! wet: FRESH wet SLICED strawberries. Amazing!!! dry: Fresh uncut strawberries with the green part still on them. Later, it becomes more and more sage-y. Sage sage sage with a little strawberry sweetness. A co-worker just tried to bite me. I guess it is a winner! Verdict: KEEPER!
-
imp:dark chocolate and cream with sugar. wet: Nutter Butter peanut butter cookies (2 people PLUS me smelled this ---without ANY suggestion) dry: cocoa powder. Gets a little metallic note but that is not noticible to anyone else but me (nothing like Lump of Coal and Midway do on me). Mostly, I just smell cocoa. MMMMMMMM... I'd like a bottle of this...but I don't covet it like I do Snake Charmer.

imp:earth and pale wood like Destroying Angel smells to me, with some far away sweet fruit. wet: it's funny, but my skin seems to suck it all up. It becomes faint. dry: this is VERY much like Destroying Angel on me. I can't believe it! Whatever in in Destroying Angel...I am getting the same note here VERY strongly with some extra notes very faintly. I am shocked this is not more different on me! How odd! UPDATE: I did a quick small test on the other arm and I got a lot more musk and some plum, which was nice...but the same woody note was still there too much. All in all, it makes it too manly on me. -
imp:spicy, peppery florals wet: a little bubblegum, a little citrus, a little candy, a little floral. dry: nice for while, then a lemon smell TAKES OVER and it becomes very sour for about an hour or 2...then it turns into this gorgeous, well-blended fruity floral. (????) Where did that come from after the lemon? Verdict: The last stage is lovely, but i am not sure I can take the sour lemon stage. *ponders*
-
imp: pine, fruit wet: lovely spicy wooded fruit. dry: This is nice, but there are other things I like more (like Ssssssssnake Charmerrrrrr). I tried it on the hubby and it turned too floral on him...but it was a little too masculine on me.
-
imp:butterscotch, baked goods (snickerdoodle cookies?) and perfume wet:same, only less butterscotch and more perfume. nice. dry: It gets really lovely for a while and I can see how people compare it to Snake Charmer, even though it is different. I smell a hint of something menthol-y (but nobody else smells it). I tried adding a bit of Scherezade to see if it would be mroe snake charmer-y...it is, but still not THAT close. The menthol smell comes and goes to my noze, but I get big thumbs up from my coworker who likes BPAL. He likes it plain and with Scherezade, but he likes it best layered with Scherezade. Verdict-Not bad! But I like Snake Charmer better. *sigh*

I like Dragon's Milk for a cold/rainy day scent. It is so warm and rich and lovely that it smells to me like how curling up at home with hot cocoa on a very snowy day feels. Does that make sense?
