Organ Grinder On: Wow. Amazing almond milk and sarsaparilla with lovely black patchouli (one of my favorite notes) and pine. Half an hour in: This is amazing. I can pick out every note and they just smell so great together. 1.5 hours in: This is sweeter and is mostly almond milk and sarsaparilla, with a bit of patchouli. 2 hours in: This is just delicious almond milk. I'm dying. 2.5 hours in: Siiiiiigh...so lovely. 3 hours in: So milky and delicious. Overall: I'll definitely be getting a bottle of this.

Muilearteach On: Amazing. I'm getting a mixture of dark musk and a sweet, fruity musk. I adore it. Half an hour in: There is a really pretty dry, powdery, tart note to this, with tons of different musks, none of them too heavy, underneath. 1.5 hours in: Amazing. Still a tart/sweet scent with musk underneath. 2 hours in: This is still sweet with musk underneath. 2.5 hours in: I put on a bit more, and this is back to being a tart, powdery scent with musk. 3 hours in: Still powdery and tart with musk. Overall: This is really interesting and nice, but I don't think I'll be hunting down a bottle.

Midnight on the Midway On: Gorgeous nighttime flowers. Some sweet, some a bit soapy. A bit heady. Half an hour in: Gorgeous, creamy, heady flowers. 1 hour in: A little soapy now, but still mostly creamy flowers. 2 hours in: Pretty, but soapy, flowers. 2.5 hours in: Soapy, powdery flowers. 4 hours in: Soap. Overall. These flowers just don't work on me.

I Fell in Love with a Floating Brain On: So much cake!!! I can smell the strawberry cream, too. Yummy. Half an hour in: Sweet strawberry cake. So yummy. This makes me want to bake a cake. 1 hour in: Strawberry cream and very spongy cake. 2 hours in: Still yummy cake with strawberry frosting. 2.5 hours in: Still the same! I can't believe this isn't going gross on me. 4 hours in: Sigh. A bit of a wood scent now. My skin is so weird. Overall: I really liked this for quite a while and it smelled better on me for longer than a lot of foody scents do.

El Dia de Los Reyes 2007 Note: I do not like the smell of coffee. On: Delicious cocoa and cinnamon. Nice and sweet. One of my partners just said: It smells like cake! 1 hour in: The cinnamon and brown sugar are stronger now, but it's still mostly cocoa. I am getting a tiny bit of coffee, too, but now much (thankfully). 2 hours in: I'm getting an odd wood note to this now and that's pretty much all. 3 hours in: Yeah, and odd wood note with some sweetness. 6 hours in: Wow, this changed back to cocoa with cinnamon. So pretty. Overall: My skin tends to turn certain oils into a weird vegetable scent or wood scent, and that's pretty much what happened here. However, it did eventually change back to a gorgeous cocoa scent. It's hard to know what to do with my skin sometimes.

Carnaval Diabolique On: Sweet, dirty, smoky musk with some flowers. 1 hour in: This smells like dirt and musk on me now. 2 hours in: Dirty and flowers. 3 hours in: A soft floral. Vaguely soapy. Overall: This isn't very interesting on me.

Temple of the Ghede On: Soapy flowers and ozone, I think, maybe with a touch of some sort of wood note. 1 hour in: I'm having a hard time picking out notes in this. Still mostly soapy flowers, with a hint of something almost like saltwater. 2 hours in: Watery, slightly soapy flowers. 3 hours in: Damp, soapy flowers. Overall: This blend just goes really soapy on me. That happens with some floral blends.

Temple of the Loas On: Incense, a fruit (possibly mango...that sort of fleshy, orange-yellow fruit), and rose? 1 hour in: The rose is going soapy on me. The mango is still there, but it doesn't smell like incense to me anymore. 2 hours in: Soapy rose. 3 hours in: Mostly soft, soapy rose. Overall: Rose and I get along about 75% of the time, but this wasn't one of those times.

Vasakasajja On: There's a sour flower note to this that is weird on me. The rest is a mix of sweet flowers. 1 hour in: Pretty and floral. More of a tart floral now than sour, which is good. Definitely musky and sexy, but in a playful and confident way. 2 hours in: Pretty tart flowers still. There is so "feminine" (to the extent that there is such a thing as the feminine /postmodernism) and beautiful. I'm getting a powdery feel from the musk. Lovely. 4 hours in: A teensy bit sharp on the floral edge. The musk is still pretty and powdery. 5 hours in: A softy, slightly soapy, powdery floral, with a hint of something almost fruity and something sweet. Overall: This is really nice, but I'm not sure how much I'd reach for it.

Pomegranate IV On: Lots of pomegranate and a fair amount of thyme. I'm also getting some warm, red musk. 1 hour in: This combination of cocoa, tobacco, and cognac is to die for. I'm getting some deep red pomegranate, too. Lovely. 2 hours in: Argh. This is turning kind of gross on me. Red musk, I hate you. 4 hours in: This is weird and soapy on me. Overall: Red musk kills an otherwise great oil for me again. FU, red musk.

Treat #1 On: Wow. Jolly Ranchers. Tart, shiny, hard, and sweet. 1 hour in: Sweet and tart, but with an odd vegetable note. (My skin does this sometimes to sweeter oils.) 2 hours in: Powdery, slightly sour candies, with that vegetable note in the background. 3 hours in: Brighter now. Still powdery, but even more tart. Unfortunately, that vegetable note is stronger. Overall: This was really fun at first, but my skin ruined it.

Candles Moon On: Milky and smoky with a bit of berries. 1 hour in: There's a bit of a pine-like tree note to this, along with beeswax (which my nose apparently reads as sweet and salty butter) and milk. 2 hours in: Sour berries and sweet milk. 3 hours in: The beeswax is stronger now. This is a milky, white, sweet scent with a pine-like note that is making the berries smell a bit sour on my skin. Overall: This just isn't me.

Monster Bait: Bloody Mary On: Sweet cherries with lots of cream and powdered sugar. 1 hour in: Cream and cherries. Very sweet, but not cloying. Definitely foody. 2.5 hours in: So pretty. It's definitely foody, but not overwhelmingly so. It's such a powdered sugar, cream, and sweet cherry scent. Lovely. 4.5 hours in: Still about the same. Overall: This is so pretty. I'm going back and forth about whether I should hunt down a bottle. I can't imagine I'd reach for it often, but I'm sort of taken with the cherries.

On: Gorgeous, sparkling vanilla mint. 1 hour in: Soft vanilla mint with a hint of celery. I hate my skin sometimes. 2.5 hours in: Yeah, celery and something sweet. 4.5 hours in: Vaguely sweet. Overall: My skin is weird. I wish this scent were way, way stronger on me, since I'm a huge fan of vanilla and mint together.

Snap-Dragon-Fly On: Foody, sweet, and spicy. 1 hour in: A sweet and spicy bread. 1.5 hours in: Just vaguely sweet. No notes are really standing out. 2.5 hours in: Slightly foody, but still mostly sweet with a bit of spice. Overall: This is interesting, but not really my sort of foody scent.

On: Lovely lemon blossom and a hint of sweet pea. 1 hour in: Vanilla, which is sweet, but not heavy. I'm also getting some earthy berries. 1.5 hours in: Something is turning a bit woody on me, but this is mostly just vaguely sweet. 2.5 hours in: Vaguely sweet. A bit powdery. Overall: This faded quickly on me and just didn't do anything interesting on my skin.

Mr. Croup On: Wow. Lots of black musk. Half an hour in: A simple black musk. Very nice. 1.5 hours in: All black musk, all the time. 3 hours in: Did I mention black musk? Overall: This is just a single note on me, so (since I already have Black Musk single note), I won't be keeping it around.

Lights of Men's Lives, The On: This smells like candle smoke and wax, mostly, which is pretty amazing. However, there's an odd buttery note I'm getting, too. Half an hour in: Yeah, butter. 1.5 hours in: Smoke with something sweet and buttery. Is this how my nose is reading beeswax? 3 hours in: Smoky and sweet. 4 hours in: There's more of a smoky scent to this now. The butter isn't super-salty and in my face anymore; it's more of a creamy, milky scent. Overall: This isn't me at all. I think it's really pretty and interesting, and would love if someone else was wearing it, but I know I wouldn't choose to smell like this.

Kaidan On: Very blossomy with a hint of juicy fruit. Half an hour in: Incense with a bit of something sweet. A dry scent. 1.5 hours in: Soft, floral incense. 3.5 hours in: A sweet, incensy floral. Overall: This is pretty, but not very interesting on me.

Pomegranate I On: Lovely, lovely jasmine. Sweet and heady. I'm not getting any pomegranate or benzoin. Half an hour in: Sweet, light jasmine. 1.5 hours in: Still is still all pretty, light jasmine on me. 3.5 hours in: Still all jasmine. Overall: This is a single note jasmine on me, but it's incredibly pretty, soft, and light, not overpowering at all.

Dreadful Lies On: Heavy, dark, alcoholic, and a bit sweet. 1 hour in: There's an almost root beer-like feel to this one. Not fizzy, just that sassafras scent. It's really nice. 2 hours in: Still about the same. The combination of these notes on my skin totally smells like root beer. I'm digging it. 3.5 hours in: Sweet and lovely root beer. Overall: I don't know why this developed the way it did on me, but I really, really like it.

On: Tons of sweet, spicy pumpkin. Very sweet and definitely, as I said, spicy. Yum. 1 hour in: Incredibly spicy pumpkin with a tiny bit of berry. 2 hours in: This is so spicy! 3.5 hours in: Still mostly spicy and sweet, with a hint of pumpkin. Overall: I didn't get any blackberry for most of the time I wore this, which is kinda sad. I definitely prefer Jack anyway, though; it's creamier and not as OMGSPICY.

Ehecatl On: Lots of lime and hibiscus, with the matcha and white musk hanging out in the background. I love it when I can pick out all of the notes in a blend...well, when I like all the notes in a blend. Half an hour in: Sharp lime and powdery white musk with sweet hibiscus. The combination of the white musk and the citrus reminds me of Phobos, one of my favorite oils. 1.5 hours in: So lovely. Sweet, limey, and powdery musk. 2.5 hours in: I love this! Such a beautiful white musk and the lime is heavenly with it. 3.5 hours in: Mostly light and powdery, with a slight citrussy floral edge. Lovely. 5.5 hours in: This a bit of a soapy floral now, but the powedery white musk and lime are still there. Overall: Wonderful. I'm definitely adding this to the list of bottles I need. It's a nice Phobos-like alternative.

Tiki Princess On: Wow. This is so gorgeous. Definitely nice, cold coconut, but with lush, sweet flowers. Nothing overbearing or too-sweet, and definitely not foody. Half an hour in: This is so ridiculously gorgeous. I'm already thinking I need to hunt down a bottle. 1.5 hours in: No!!! This odd vegetable note I get sometimes I coming forward. I hope it goes away. 2.5 hours in: Hmm...that vegetable note is still there, but I'm still getting nice, powdery coconut, too. 3.5 hours in: Yeah, the coconut and that vegetable note are still duking it out. 5.5 hours in: The vegetable note is pretty much gone, with the tiny bit that is sticking around staying close to my skin. What I'm left with instead is a gorgeous, cool, powdery coconut scent. Lovely. Overall: Well, I can't say I'm thrilled with what my skin does to this, but I'm hoping that wearing it in a few different places will lesson the vegetable note that I get when it's on my wrists.

Psychological Horror On: An incredibly pretty musk with a tinge of sweetness. 1 hour in: A sweet musk with a hint of tartness to it. 1.5 hours in: This has an almost candyish feel to it now. Like dry, slightly tart, sugary candies. 2.5 hours in: A very pretty, slightly powdery, sweet musk. 3 hours in: Still a pretty musk. Overall: This is really, really pretty on me. I'm not sure if it's a keeper, though, since I have other musk scents.
