A Cold, Clear Winter Day On: Sigh. So much rose and fir. Beautiful. Half an hour in: Amazing. A bit sweet, but mostly cold winter trees. 3 hours in: Pine. 4.5 hours in: Definitely just straight-up pine with a powdery feel. Overall: I really, really wish my skin didn't do this to Beth's "snow" note/blend.

The Chained Phantoms On: So pretty. White grape and balsam. Sweet, but fresh. Half an hour in: Lovely. I can smell the chamomiles along with the sweetness of the white grape and the fresh balsam. 3 hours in: This is mostly powdery and smells a bit like wood. 4.5 hours in: Wood. Overall: Blah. My skin is dumb sometimes.
-
On: Mostly pear and quince, with a bit of ginger. Half an hour in: Hot ginger and sweet fruits. 1 hour in: Just hot ginger. 1.5 hours in: A bit of spicy ginger, but mostly just a warm scent. 4.5 hours in: Faint. Warm. 5 hours in: Pretty much gone. Overall: I don't like how hot the ginger is in this.

Against Idleness and Mischief On: Mostly honey and chamomile. Staid, but pretty. Half an hour in: Still honey and chamomile, but with some licorice from the hyssop. 1 hour in: The hyssop is amping up a lot on me, which is just fine by me. It smells lovely. 1.5 hours in: Very pretty. Sweet and vaguely licorice-y. 4.5 hours in: Faint. Floral. 5 hours in: Pretty much gone. Overall: I love chamomile, so I was hoping this would be better on me.

Mother Ginger On: Sharp, strong, hot ginger with nutmeg and cinnamon, and some sweet notes. 1 hour in: Heavy on the nutmeg and cinnamon with a bit of sweetness. 1.5 hours in: Spicy and sweet. 4.5 hours in: Mostly nutmeg. 5 hours in: Pretty and a bit spicy. Overall: This isn't anything special on me, but I like it at first.
-
Klara On: Very pretty. Lots of rose and carnation and I can really get the honey dusting powder. 1 hour in: This is far more floral now. Pretty, but not sweet. 1.5 hours in: Just flowers. 4.5 hours in: Powdery, slightly soapy flowers. 5 hours in: A bit sweet, but faint. Overall: I really hoped that this would smell amazing on me, but it's just OK.

Marshmallow Pumpkin Note: I am vegan and a sucker for marshmallow-scented things. On: Wow. Definitely pumpkin pulp. No pumpkin pie spices here. There's a dusty marshmallow sweetness, too. Very nice. Half an hour in: Spicier now. It actually reminds me a bit of spicy almond cookies, if that makes any sense. 1 hour in: Spicy marshmallow with a hint of pumpkin. Not overly sweet, which is nice. 1.5 hours in: Spicy marshmallows. 2.5 hours in: Just spices with a hint of sweetness. 3.5 hours in: Spicy and sweet. 5.5 hours in: Sweet and a bit spicy. Overall: This is a really interesting blend, but I don't think I'd reach for it often.

Gypsy On: Lots of cardamom on my skin, with some musk. Not sweet at all. Half an hour in: Dark, warm, earthy cardamom with a hint of sweetness. 1 hour in: Yup. Cardamom and musk. The sweetness is gone. 1.5 hours in: Lots of cardamom with a hint of sweet tonka. 2.5 hours in: Still mostly cardamom, but with a bit of lovely musk peeking through. 3.5 hours in: Mostly warm cardamom with a bit of musk. 5.5 hours in: Very faint, warm musk. Overall: I was hoping this would be magical on me, but the cardamom was too much.

The Second of the Three Spirits On: Spicy and foody, with lots of pine. Very Christmassy. Half an hour in: Tons of spices and some fruit. 2.5 hours in: Spicy fruits. 10 hours in: Sweet, spicy fruits. Overall: This is great and perfect for the Winter holidays. I don't know if it's bottle-worthy, though. Changing the Shadows On: The orange blossom is what's hitting me. Hard. There's an also a bit of an alcoholic feel to this, like a really sweet white wine. Half an hour in: Very, very pretty. This doesn't really smell like wine anymore. I can definitely get some sharp citrus, along with flowers. Just nice and pretty. 1 hour in: Gorgeous. Definitely a citrussy blossom. Simple and sweet. 1.5 hours in: Still the same. So pretty. 2.5 hours in: This is beyond pretty. I'm pretty much just getting a powdery (from the sandalwood?) orange blossom. I'm pretty excited, since blossom notes tend to go gross and sharp on me. 3.5 hours in: A little fruitier, but still mostly powdery, sweet, and pretty. 4 hours in: The carnation is coming out a bit, and giving this a nice warmth. Overall: I am so glad I have a bottle of this. It's so pretty. I actually think it will be a nice Spring and Summer scent, too.

Ladon On: Watery apples. 1 hour in: Still watery apples, but with something sweet, maybe the dragon's blood resin. 2 hours in: This is much sweeter now. It's also less watery, but still mostly apples and something sweet, with a hint of something floral. 2.5 hours in: A bit sweet, but mostly powdery and apply, with some flowers. Very, very pretty. 3.5 hours in: Powdery apples. Still pretty. 4 hours in: Pretty, sweet, and powdery. Overall: This is really great, but I think I'll need to slather it to really make the apples stick around longer. Definitely a great blend.

Detestable Putrescence On: This is delicious, almost bordering on cream cheese frosting on me. It reminds me a lot of the original Beaver Moon, which is one of my favorite foody scents. 1 hour in: More powdery and vaguely floral, but still mostly just pretty vanilla. 1.5 hours in: Powdery vanilla. Pretty, but not earth-shattering. 2 hours in: Lovely, powdery vanilla. Not overly foody at all. 2.5 hours in: Sweet and powdery. Very pretty. 3.5 hours in: Still the same. 4 hours in: Pretty, sweety, powdery vanilla. Overall: This is almost a single note on me. It isn't overwhelmingly sweet or foody, just powdery, pretty, and simple.

Lamia On: This has a lot going on on me. Definitely peach and coconut with myrrh, but with a lot of other notes hanging around. 1 hour in: This smells burnt on me. Sweet, but with a burnt edge. Like marshmallows that have been singed over an open flame, but without the gooey sweet smell to make it worth it. 2 hours in: Still about the same, but a bit sweeter and with a powdery feel. 2.5 hours in: I really don't like this. Still kinda burnt, but with some lush flowers and sweetness, maybe with a touch of incense and wood. Overall: This just isn't for me.

It has an odd wood scent to it. 2 hours in: An odd wood scent still. 3 hours in: Some sweet honey, but mostly a dusty, odd wood scent. Overall: I really like red rose with stuff that is sweet, but this goes weird on me.

Anesthesia On: Amazing. Lots of lavender and peppermint. I love that combination. 1 hour in: The peppermint made this feel really cold on my skin for quite a while, which was kinda weird, but not in a bad way. Right now, it smells mostly earthy and woodsy, with a bit of lavender. 1.5 hours in: Kind of woodsy. 2 hours in: Wood. 3 hours in: Sweet lavender and a bit of wood. Overall: I really like peppermint and lavender together, but the other notes just sort of screw this up for me. Bergamot tends to go kind of odd on me.

I love this. 4 hours in: Darker with more wine and rose, but still sweet, too. Overall: Definitely something I'll be needing a bottle of. I adore this red rose note.
-
Golden Priapus Note: I used to wear this all the time and was planing on getting a bottle, but apparently never reviewed it. Weird. On: Wow. I'm hit with juniper and pine right away, but the sweet vanilla and amber are really the base of this blend for me. Half an hour in: Almost boozy vanilla and amber with a "masculine" (for want of a better word) feel in the background. 1 hour in: This is so amazing. Powdery amber with vanilla. 1.5 hours in: Amazing. Just amazing. Sweet and golden. 2 hours in: I am in love with this. Why haven't I been wearing this more often? More importantly, how do I not have a bottle yet? 2.5 hours in: Powdery and sweet. Overall: Yeah, I definitely need a bottle of this.

Much softer. 3 hours in: Spicy patchouli. Overall: I adore patchouli, but I don't like it with the spice of cassis.
