at first: i don't know how the lab does it, but they much be psychic. i actually ordered this in another order, and they included it as a freebie. i think i'm only smelling the plumeria and champagne. i'm not sure about this one. on: a sweet floral, with a touch of fruit. half an hour later: very nice. i can smell all three of the notes (plumeria, pear, and white champagne) and they work very well together. 1.5 hours later: very pretty. the plumeria is the main thing i can smell now. 2.5 hours later: still pretty. mostly plumeria and champagne. overall: very nice. i'm not sure i'll be grabbing this one often, since it didn't really blow me away, but i think it's a nice blend for summer.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. i'm not really sure what's going on here, but i like it...a lot. this is beautiful. on: i think i'm smelling the prickly pear more than anything else. very different and nice. half an hour later: warmer. really nice, even thought i can't place the notes. 1.5 hours later: still sweet, but with a warm edge, which i'm assuming comes from the coriander. i love this. overall: this is such a unique and interesting blend. i may end up getting a bottle of this.

at first: earthy, but floral. very nice. on: this is pretty. definitely earthy and floral. sensual. half an hour later: i'm not too fond of the sandalwood that's coming out, but i like the other notes. 1.5 hours later: still a nice blend of the four components. 2.5 hours later: i really like this. it's still got that nice balance between earthy and floral overall: this isn't really "me", but i like it.

at first: lots and lots of lavender. a very strong scent. on: this is much stronger than i thought it would be. i think i mostly smell lavender and chamomile. overall: this is great for knocking me out at night. it's especially useful when i need to sleep well before getting up early the next day. i might get a 10ml of this at some point.

at first: very nice. a bit sweet, with some nice, warm, sweet flowers. on: wow. i really like this. it reminds me of the smell of a single rose: petals, stem, and leaves. beautiful. half an hour later: still a fresh-cut rose. 1 hour later: i'm getting a salty note. 1.5 hours later: the wood is really coming out. it smells like a beautiful piece of old furniture. overall: i like the scent at first, but not the woods after it dries. i'll be getting rid of my imp.

at first: unbelievably pungent ginger. i don't think i like this. on: very warm smelling. i really don't like it. half an hour later: this smells like raw potatoes on me. 1.5 hours later: i'm getting a burnt rubber scent now. overall: needless too say, this is awful on me.

at first: the lab included this as an extra in my order. this is so well-blended that i really can't pick any individual note out. on: a dusty, soapy floral. 2 hours later: still dusty, which i think is from the frankincense. i'm also getting a bit of the musk and orchid. 7 hours later: a nice floral. overall: this is a nice floral, but not a stand-out for me.

at first: very soft. vaguely sweet. lovely. a bit floral. on: a sweet, powdery, almost candy-like flower. 1.5 hours later: lighter, but still powdery and sweet. 9 hours later: very soft and powdery, like candy. overall: i'm glad i got to try this, but i'm not sure i'll be keeping it.

at first: i'm definitely getting tonka as the base. white wine, rum, and tobacco are also pretty obvious. on: lots of tobacco. i don't think i can smell anything else. half an hour later: sweeter now. i can definitely smell the tonka along with the tobacco. 1 hour later: very faint. i am getting more of a white wine scent with the tonka and tobacco. 2.5 hours later: lighter. smoky, with the tonka adding some sweetness. overall: i really wanted to love this, but i don't. i'll be sending this on to someone else.

at first: i think i'm only smelling lavender, which is good. however, the sandalwood sneeks in, too. i can't wait to try this out. on: very strong. lots of lavender. overall: this has really done a good job of helping me to remember my dreams. i ordered a 10ml of it.

at first: wow! flowers and musk. this is very nice. on: beautiful. herbs and musk. half an hour later: gorgeous. very musky. 1.5 hours later: a nice, musky scent. 2 hours later: very nice. cool and light. overall: a great musk. very summery and light. i bought a bottle.

at first: weird. it smells like citrus fruits and something warmer. on: weird, but i like it. i think i might be smelling ginger. 2 hours later: something sweet with patchouli and maybe some citrus or ginger. i think i may be getting a bit of pepper. 4 hours later: still strong. much sweeter, almost syrupy, but still with that spicy edge to it. 6 hours later: lighter, but still much the same. i love this. overall: i will definitely be getting a bottle of this for myself at some point if i can.

at first: i can mostly smell the rosemary. it's interesting, but i'm not sure if i'll like it. on: i don't like this. strong and biting. i can't quite place the scent. maybe a very piercing pine. half an hour later: warmer. almost sweet. 1 hour later: still warmer and much lighter. 1.5 hours later: much fainter. masculine. overall: i can't picture myself wanting to smell like this, so i'll be getting rid of my imp.

at first: the lab included this as an extra and i wouldn't have picked it for myself. i love the patchouli and neroli together. wonderful. on: soapy with a hint of something almost minty. half an hour later: i think i'm getting something citrussy and sweet, possibly the neroli and amber. 1 hour later: still a sweet citrus scent. 1.5 hours later: more herby. i'm getting the patchouli now, too. 2.5 hours later: very soft. te patchouli and herbs are most prominent, with a hint of musk. lovely. overall: i'm not sure about this one, but i like how it develops, so i'm going to hold onto it.

at first: a very, very light scent. i think i can just smell a bit of rose, but that's all. on: pretty. different. floral and a bit watery. half an hour later: this has completely changed. it's way more earthy and dark. 1 hour later: a mix of freshly-cut roses and earthy notes. 1.5 hours later: a mix of soapy flowers. overall: this is nice, but not something i'd wear often. i'm glad i grabbed an imp of it when i had the chance.

at first: this is pure, sharp, slightly sweet lemongrass. great! on: fabulous! fresh, earthy, herbal lemongrass. 1 hour later: sharper and more lemony now. very nice. 3.5 hours later: still pure lemongrass. 7 hours later: this has lasted pretty well. it's a bit lighter now, but still very true to its original scent. overall: a great, pure lemongrass. this will be great during the summer.

at first: light. a bit sweet. i may smell some cinnamon. on: a sweet floral. pretty. half an hour later: still sweet. a bit heavier. i still can't pick out any notes. 1 hour later: still the same. 1.5 hour later: i'm getting the ginger and some watery notes. overall: this is pretty, but it isn't something i'd wear often. my imp will have to find a better home.

at first: definitely spruce, but with lots of fruits and flowers thrown in. very, very cold. on: this is very strong. sweet berries and pine. pungent. i think i like it, but...it's making me feel uneasy. 1 hour later: still very strong. it's also still very nice, scent-wise, but i'm still uncomfortable. 7 hours later: this is much lighter, but it still makes me feel anxious. overall: although this is really nice, i have to get rid of it.

at first: wow. herbal. i think i'm mostly smelling something pickle-like. odd and salty. on: sweet, but i can't quite place the sweetness. maybe fruit. 1.5 hours later: almost a hint of syrup. i think i smell a bit of patchouli. 5 hours later: very pretty. i still can't place the sweetness i smell, but it might be fig. 7.5 hours later: i really like this. i think the patchouli is mixing more with the fruity / sweet scent. very nice. overall: i really like this, and i'm glad i ordered an imp of it.

at first: the lab included this as an extra, and they apparently really want me to get into leather because this was the third leather-containing oil they threw in. oh, wow. i really don't get along with vetiver and that is all i smell. on: i'm getting mostly leather and vetiver. half an hour later: more floral. the leather has died down a bit. very different. 1.5 hours later: much lighter. a general sort of floral. very light. overall: this just isn't something i would wear. i liked how the leather blended with the other notes once it dried.

at first: another instance of the lab reading my mind, since it was a freebie, but i ordered it in another order. this is very pretty. it smells like a beautiful garden on a warm day. fabulous. on: fruity and floral. i can't pick out the notes, but i think i'm getting a white floral. 1.5 hours later: sweeter and still light and lovely. 2.5 hours later: sweet and powdery. i think i'm smelling the gardenia and vanilla. overall: i like this, but not enough to reach for it often. i'll be getting rid of my imp.

at first: i smell heliotrope at first, but then there is something almost syrupy. very interesting. on: lovely. an almost buttery sweetness. i think i'm smelling heliotrope, which i love. 1 hour later: this is still sweet and lovely. the heliotrope is drier now, and i smell a melange of various flowers along with it. 4.5 hours later: very faint. i can barely smell this. 6.5 hours later: i can smell this more now. it's a nice blend of florals, but i think i'm mostly smelling gardenia. overall: this is ok, but i don't think i'd wear it often.

at first: i can really smell the rum. the brandy, nutmeg, cream, and sugar are underneath it. definitely smooth and creamy. on: a bit sweet, but milky, too. half an hour later: i'm mostly smelling nutmeg. 1.5 hours later: still sweet and nutmeg-y. 2 hours later: sweeter than before. overall: this is ok, but i don't think i'd wear it.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. pretty, but musky. on: hmmm...i like this, but i can't really place the notes. maybe some woods? it's warm. 1 hour later: more powdery and almost sweet. dark. i like this. 3 hours later: sharper now, but still really dark. 5 hours later: still warm and dark. lovely. it keeps wafting around me. i feel strangely comfortable and happy wearing this. overall: i absolutely adore this. i'm so glad the lab threw an imp into my order, and i'll probably end up ordering a bottle at some point.

at first: the lab tossed this into my order and it's definitely not something i would have picked for myself. i mostly smell the woods and musk. on: a bit smoky. very masculine. half an hour later: interesting. i think i'm smelling herbs, smoke, and musk. 1.5 hours later: still smoky and herbal. 2 hours later: warm and slightly burnt-smelling. overall: this doesn't really work for me.
