at first: at first: gorgeous. fruit, flowers, and something burning in the background. on: wonderful. floral and...herby, i think. very soft. 1 hour later: more of a burning scent to it, but still soft. i think i may smell some musk. 2.5 hours later: this smells like...being surrounded by fresh herbs and a bit of fire. wonderful. 5 hours later: more biting now, but only a bit. lovely and very well-blended. i can't really pick any notes out. overall: i don't know if i'll reach for this often, but i really like it.

at first: lavender is the strongest, but he mint and lime definitely hold their own. on: wonderful, mostly a wonder lime/mint blend, with the earthiness of patchouli peeking through. 2 hours later: very light, but interesting. the patchouli is still in the background, with the lime and mint combining nicely on top. lovely. 4 hours later: it's harder to pick out the notes. it's nice, though. 6 hours later: a light scent, with a bit of tartness to it. overall: i like this at first, but i'm going to swap it because it just doesn't develop well on me.

at first: SO SWEET! this smells very foody, like fried dough and cotton candy. on: i really thought this would be sickly sweet (i like that sort of thing sometimes.) and very foody, but it isn't. it's like the smell of cotton candy and funnel cakes from a distance on a cool, breezy night. lovely. 1.5 hours later: still lovely, but with a bit of lightly-buttered popcorn poking through. interesting. 5.5 hours later: still light and vaguely cotton candy-like. i adore this. overall: this is just too wonderful. beth is a genius. i'm going to savor every last drop of this bottle.

at first: i definitely smell ginger and pepper. i'm not sure if i'll like this one. on: wow. i dislike this. a lot. i can really only do ginger in lighter, more citrussy scents, and this simply isn't. 1 hour later: this is definitely better now. more of a light incense smell. 2.5 hours later: i really don't like this. it's going very woodsy on me. 3.5 hours later: still very strong and woodsy. overall: very much not me, but i'm glad i have a bit.

mercury at first: at first i smell a lot of lavender, but it breaks apart into a lot of other scents. very odd and chaotic. on: wow. very warm. possibly cardamom. i don't think it's cinnamon. i really like this. 10 minutes later: holy crap! this burns! overall: needless to say, i was wrong. this definitely contains cinnamon. i won't be able to wear this one. i might use the little i have as a room scent.

at first: i'm getting a tart and slightly earthy scent. on: hmmm...i don't think i like this. it's a biting floral on me. 1 hour later: this has calmed down a lot. it's softer and almost powdery. i think i'm only smelling apple blossom. 2 hours later: sweeter now, thankfully. i can finally smell the amber. 6 hours later: definitely sweet and powdery. i think i smell the myrtle and apple blossom, too. overall: i am so glad i got this. this is just so fabulous. i think i'll really enjoy using it over the summer

at first: a sweet, almost fruity, floral.. i really like this. on: a sweet floral, almost fruity. very watery. 2 hours later: the lilies are coming out more. nice and light. 4.5 hours later: sweet and light. really nice. 6.5 hours later: definitely a white, slightly powdery, vaguely sweet floral. overall: i am so glad i got this. i don't know if it will be a bottle purchase, but i really like it.

at first: i can smell sweet pea and sage. this is great. i'm so happy i got this. on: very pretty. a light, fresh, sweet, watery floral. i think all i'm smelling is sweet pea. 1 hour later: the musk is coming out more now, but it's still mostly sweet pea. 3.5 hours later: much muskier. a good balance of musk and sweet pea. 13 hours later: just a generally sweet, powdery scent. overall: who needs a sweet pea single note? i wish the musk and tonka were stronger, but i like it anyway. i don't think i'd buy a bottle, but i'll definitely enjoy using my imp.

at first: something sharp. possibly eucalyptus on: this smells like lavender and some sort of wood. half an hour later: definitely some sort of wood. that's all i'm smelling. 1.5 hours later: lots of different woods, possibly with some flowers. 4.5 hours later: a hint of woods. overall: i'm not so sure about this one.

at first: a spicy, bright white scent. on: i think i smell pepper and ginger. half an hour later: very hot-smelling. reminds me of incense that's just started burning. 1.5 hours later: i'm getting a weird ginger/smoke scent. 4.5 hours later: pretty much gone. overall: this is very interesting. it's definitely a hot scent, but in a really crisp way.

at first: the lab sure knows how to pick my free imps. i love musk, and it's just perfect with dragon's blood. on: love it! dragon's blood and musk. half an hour later: lovely! 1 hour later: very soft, sweet, and musky. 2 hours later: so lovely. a wonderful light scent. 5 hours later: more perfumy. lovely overall: the ars draconis oils are just fabulous. i really like this one.

at first: this kind of burns my nose. i might smell neroli...or something. i don't know if i'm going to like this. on: a very strong masculine scent with a sharp bite of citrus, which mellows out to an herbal citrus scent. half an hour later: this reminds me of the smell of a lush store. sweet, citrussy, floral: a billion things at once. i really like it. 1 hour later: softer, but still a nice mélange. 2 hours later: more perfumey, but still lush-y. 5 hours later: still the same, only a little lighter. overall: once i use this up, i'll definitely be getting a bottle. this will also be good for when i need a lush fix.

at first: wow. this smells just the way it should: alcohol, mint, and some sugar. on: this reminds me of a less intense version of three jacks with a hint of mint. half an hour later: mostly alcohol, but the mint is still present. 1 hour later: still the same. 2 hours later: this smells like wood on me. odd. 5 hours later: darker, sweeter , and heavier. overall: this is nice, but not really that great. i won't be keeping my imp.

i didn't get a lot of orchid in regan, and dorian is totally sweet tea on me. it's so cool how things smell on different people.

regan is TOTALLY like butterball. i am so happy! i'm getting a 10ml of it in my next order. woo hoo!

at first: i smell lavender...and lots of it. on: lavender, but with something almost sweet. maybe tonka. overall: i can't speak ot this oils effectiveness, but it is a very light, relaxing scent.

at first: sweet, but soft. on: sweet, but i'm not getting the butterscotch note that so many others are. it's a very soft scent. 1 hour later: powdery, sweet, white. 6.5 hours later: more floral, but still with that sweet, white base. 7.5 hours later: still wonderful. 12 hours later: this has faded a little but, i can definitely still smell it. overall: i really, really like this. i'm so glad i bought it. it's a great spring scent.

at first: the lab included this as an extra. i smell dragon's blood and leather. on: dry, but not as dry as dragon's bone. i think i may smell a faint bit of leather, but i'm mostly getting the dragon's blood. 1 hour later: much warmer. almost comforting. i think i'm getting more leather now. 4 hours later: i really like this. the leather is the predominant scent, but a tinge of smoke and the sweetness of the dragon's blood are still there. lovely. overall: yay for the lab! they know what i like. i may buy a bottle of this once i use up my imp.

at first: the lab included this as an extra. almost sweet, but with something edgy, almost smoky. on: nice. i can't really pick out the notes, but this seems a tiny bit musky with a tinge of sweetness. 1 hour later: definitely musk, but with more of an edge to it. 2.5 hours later: still very warm and comforting, but more powdery now. 5 hours later: still a warm, powdery scent, but not as sweet. overall: i love how comforting this is. i can definitely see how this would be good during stressful times.

at first: i can't really pin anything down in this. it's warm. on: i can't describe this. it's perfumey. warm. but, above all, soft. very soft. 1 hour later: more of a biting floral now. i think i'm getting musk or amber or something else that's powedery. 3 hours later: a biting floral. why oh why is this turning on me? 6 hours later: softer now, thankfully. i'm still having trouble picking out any notes. overall: i'm not sure about this. i like it, but...i don't know. i'll have to give it another shot.

at first: a sharp, herbal scent, i think i may smell something similar to eucalyptus. on: i think i smell flat cola, maybe some alcohol, along with something biting. a bit herby. 1 hour later: a general warm, sweet scent. overall: i don't think i would wear this as a perfume, but it could be useful.

at first: i don't know about this. it isn't what i thought it would be. on: warm. this reminds me somewhat of tombstone, but lighter. it's a bit sweet, but masculine. unbelievable comforting. 15 minutes later: i just had to say that I LOVE THIS! it's beautiful. sigh... 1 hour later: still the same. did i mention that i love this? 3 hours later: i'm smelling the tea more, and the musk and vanilla are there, too. overall: i am so glad that i went directly to a 5ml of this. i'm in love. i have the feeling that i'll be wearing this a lot.

at first: the lab included this as a free imp in my order. it's very, very dark and earthy. on: amazingly earthy. there's got to be patchouli in this. dark. almost like something decaying. 1 hour later: this is very dark and almost woodsy. 2 hours later: i think i'm getting some musk now. this is so dark. i really like it. overall: i never would have gotten this for myself, but i like it. it isn't something i would normally wear, but there's something almost comforting about it. great for a night in.

at first: something sweet and something almost musky and lemon. very nice and soothing. on: wonderful. i think i smell lemon and musk. 1 hour later: very soft. this would be nice for meditating because it would give me something to focus on but wouldn't be distracting. 2.5 hours later: still a bright, soft musk with a hint of lemon. overall: this is the perfect way to wind down at the end of the workweek. i'll definitely be using it when i get home every friday.
