at first: a sweet coffee drink. on: sweet and not as heavy as i thought it would be. don't get me wrong: the scent is strong. however, it's thinner than i thought, if that makes any sense. 2.5 hours later: a very boozy, sweet coffee scent. overall: this might be nice once the weather cools off a bit. i'm glad i only have an imp, though, since i can't imagine ever using up more than that.

at first: so beautiful and womanly. a bit sweeet, from the vanilla, with a bouquet of soft flowers underneath. wonderful. on: a wonderful floral. i can pick out the lily and violet. half an hour later: so beautiful. i don't know what else to say, really. 1 hour later: this is sweeter now. i love this!!! 2 hours later: much sweeter. lots of vanilla, with some flowers in the background. overall: i'm so glad i bought a bottle of this. this is my new "i feel pretty" blend.

at first: a beautiful blend. not as cool as i thought it would be. all of the notes are mingling wonderfully. on: gorgeous. lots of citrus, but with a musky undertone. i love this. 1 hour later: still citrussy, but warmer. this definitely has a nice edge to it (i'm assuming from the lime). very nice. 2 hours later: a little too soapy. 3 hours later: a tiny bit soapy, but mostly powdery. overall: i only have a partial imp of this, but i think it will be nice on humid days. i probably wouldn't get a bottle, since it goes soapy on me, but i'll enjoy using what i have.

at first: all i can smell is vetiver. this does not bode well. on: this is really strong. it's predominately vetiver, with patchouli coming in a close second. the cinnamon and dragon's blood are also there, but in the background. 1 hour later: a little bit of cinnmon and a lot of patchouli. 2.5 hours later: softer and sweeter. i think the dragon's blood is coming out more. overall: this is ok, but not really me. i don't do well with the more "firey" scents, and this is no exception.

at first: the lab included this as an extra. it's a bit menthol-y to me, with lots of woods. very earthy, and not something i'd think i'd like. on: very feminine wood scent. there's a freshness to this that i don't usually get with strong woods. very nice. 1 hour later: soft, sweet, and woody. there's something almost aquatic about this. 2 hours later: this is almost fruity on me now. how wonderfully odd. 3.5 hours later: very pretty and soft. overall: i'm going to keep this one, since it is one of the rare wood scents that doesn't turn into something disgusting on my skin.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. heavy, dark, almost sweet. masculine, but with an edge to it. on: this really isn't me at all. i'm definitely getting the rosewood, along with a red sort of scent. neither woods nor red things tend to go well on me. 1 hour later: warm, soft, and woody. there's a bit of sweetness from the amber, too. nice. 2 hours later: less sweet. still woody. luckily, this isn't going weird on me the way some woods do. overall: while this definitely wasn't unpleasant, it isn't really my thing.

at first: the lab included this in my order. wine. on: like wine, but sweeter. actually, this is getting even sweeter as i'm typing this. very nice. sweet, but not heavy. very bright. 1.5 hours later: lovely. light and a bit sweet. very cool. this is fresh and a bit floral, with a touch of a fruity undertone. 2.5 hours later: very soft. overall: this is definitely an interesting scent. i don't think i would use it solely as perfume, but i'm curious to see if it works for its intended purpose.

at first: this was a gift from the lab. a pungent, pine-like scent. on: this smells like the pine needle page on this scratch-n-sniff book i had when i was little. exactly like it. 1 hour later: softer. this has the saltiness that i smell in that scratch-n-sniff book, too. it's like a combination of the pine needle page and the dill pickle page. odd, but i like it. 2 hours later: even softer. this is nice and cool. i like it. overall: i don't think i would ever buy this, but i'm going to enjoy using my imp. it brings back some fun childhood memories.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. wow, this is gorgeous. lots of musk and coconut. lovely. on: beautiful. soft and powdery. i really like this. half an hour later: much more red than at first. the coconut is very light and pleasant and the musk is holding everything together. very lovely. 1.5 hours later: almost gone. there's a general butter note, but it's very soft. there's also something almost woody to it. 2.5 hours later: barely there. vaguely sweet and coconut. overall: this is nice at first, but i didn't like how it developed or how it disappeared on me.

at first: i love musk and this has tons of it. the patchouli is also there, but in the background. on: a bit sharper, i'm assuming from the poppy. there's still lots of musk, though, and patchouli is rounding it out. very nice. half an hour later: still that sharpness, with the patchouli getting stronger. the musks are softer now, but still nice. 1 hour later: lovely. i don't think i knew what poppy smelled like, but i like it. 2 hours later: very musky and lovely. i adore this. overall: i'm so glad i just took the plunge and ordered a 10ml of this unsniffed. i'll definitely enjoy using this.

A deceptively sweet orchid vanille with a faint trace of stephanotis. at first: sweet, but musky. on: lovely. definitely reminds me of lush's butterball. half an hour later: sweet and beautiful. floral and soft. i love this. 1 hour later: still sweet and lovely. 2 hours later: still sweet and musky. overall: i love this. i'm so glad i found something butterball-like.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. aquatic and sharp. very odd. on: more floral, thankfully. there's something odd and salty, too, which i don't like. 1 hour later: still odd, but floral. vaguely pickle-like. 2.5 hours later: just generally floral. overall: this just didn't do anything for me.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. big time ozone with a background of incense. on: wow. definitely ozone, but not as strong as i expected. almost citrussy. fresh. half an hour later: this is way stronger now. i really don't like ozone. 1 hour later: much, much lighter. overall: ozone and i don't tend to get along, so this isn't a keeper. the best thing about it is that it faded quickly on me.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. a sweet banana scent. on: this is so much sweeter than i thought it would be. lots of banana, with something deeper underneath. 1 hour later: warm and lush. the banana has moved to the background and some other, more wood-like notes have come forward. interesting. 2 hours later: not as nice. just generally sharp and a bit floral with some woods underneath. overall: if this stayed the same as it was when i first applied it, it would be a keeper. i guess it just wasn't to be.

at first: the lab tossed this in as a freebie in my order. this reminds me of being at some sort of theme park. there's an overall sunniness to it, along with flowers and a hint of sunscreen. on: yeah, definitely sunscreen. very astringent-smelling. weird. 1 hour later: yuck. this is awful. spray-on sunscreen and big spray. overall: i had to wash this off because it was giving me a headache. what can i say? skin chemistry's a weird thing.

at first: the lab included this as a freebie in my order. i smell roses. that's all. on: very pretty. rose, but...a dark rose. like the darkest red rose you've ever seen. interesting. 1 hour later: soft beautiful roses. overall: this is going to be a short review because, as i've said this many, many times, i love beth's roses. i'd love to keep this, but i have enough rose oils at the moment. however, i'd definitely consider buying this in the future.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. sweet apricots. on: very, very sweet. almost syrupy. definitely apricots. half an hour later: very light. it's more of a light brandy scent with a hint of apricots. 1.5 hours later: nice, but very, very light. 2 hours later: gone. overall: this was ok. if it lasted longer, i might contemplate keeping it, but it didn't.

at first: lots and lots of honey. very nice. on: a sweet, soft honey scent. light and fresh. not as sweet as i thought it would be. 1 hour later: very strong and heavy. lots of honey. 8 hours later: this has lasted ridculously well. still very heavy, sweet honey. overall: this smells pretty much exactly like o and la petite mort on me, so i dno't really need it. it isn't really anything beyond a general honey scent on me.

at first: this smells like nail polish remover with a hint of strawberry lip gloss. on: this smells exactly like strawberry wine. 1 hour later: more powdery. 2 hours later: powdery, with a strawberry background. overall: for some reason, strawberry scents are really, really boring on me. too bad.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. sweet flowers and sharp flowers. on: this has gone immediately to being disturbingly sharp and soapy on me. 1 hour later: just awful. so sharp. overall: i just washed this off because i couldn't deal with the sharpness.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. it's really, really strong incense. wow. some sort of wood. this isn't looking good. on: this smells dusty, dry, and old. not in a bad way. sort of the way a church smells a few hours after incense has been used. like the air has a stale incense scent to it. 1 hour later: still the same, just a bit lighter. 2 hours later: this is almost sweet, but mostly the same. overall: while this brings back some memories and is nice, i would never wear it.

at first: another freebie from the lab. i never would have picked this out for myself, since cinnamon and i do not get along. i can onlyl smell the black patchouli and a touch of sandalwood. on: this was a freebie from the lab. i don't like this. it's very cinnamony and i fear cinnamon. half an hour later: lots of cinnamon. there's some amber, too, but that's all. 1 hour later: this hurts my nose, the cinnamon is so strong. overall: i just can't deal with this one.

at first: the lab tossed this in as an extra. all i'm picking up is the sandalwood and the lavender. not sure about this one. on: lots and lots of lavender. there's something else, too, but i can't place it. half an hour later: this is all nag champa on me. very, very nice. 1.5 hours later: sharp and sweet incense. 2 hours later: softer, but still incense. overall: i've had this in my to-try pile and kept skipping over it. why? i have no idea. it's really quite lovely. i'm not sure if i'll end up wearing it, but it would be excellent in my oil burner. i probably wouldn't buy it again, though.

at first: this was a freebie from the lab. smells like a single, white, slightly bitter flower. on: a sweet, bright-white floral. i absolutely adore this. 1 hour later: i adore the sandalwood in this. it's so wonderful. it's getting a bit soapy now, but it's still really pretty. 5 hours later: soft and powdery. overall: this is just such a pure scent. i might need to get a bottle for next spring.

at first: the lab threw this into my order as a freebie. this is a very black scent. very dark. on: masculine. i can't really pick any notes out. i don't think i'll like this. 1 hour later: this smells like baby on me. like baby powder and other baby accouterments. it's making me a little nauseous. 2 hours later: sharp and soapy to the max. 2.5 hours later: this has toned down and is a bit sweet, but i still don't like it. overall: this oil is, clearly, not a friend to me.
