at first: this reminds me a lot of the hamptons, but more boozy. it's a fresh, citrussy alcohol on: definitely alcohol. this smells just like a dry cocktail with a twist of lime. half an hour later: i think this smells like gin. 2 hours later: still an almost bubbly alcohol. overall: this is ok, but i definitely like the hamptons much better.

at first: this was a freebie with my order. sweet, but not heavy. very nice. on: sweet. very heavy. i can get the honey mead from this, but the almond predominates. 1.5 hours later: still sweet. i can't really pick a particular note out, though. 2.5 hours later: a warm, sweet scent. overall: this is nice, but not outstanding.

at first: an interesting scent. dark spices. on: spicy and earthy. 1 hour later: dark, with a hint of spice. definitely autumnal. there's a bit of musk and something smoky, too. 5 hours later: a bit soapy and smoky. overall: this was nice, but not really me.

at first: sweet pear. on: sweet and crisp. clean. almost sparkly. 2.5 hours later: softer and almost floral. sweet pear perfume. very nice. overall: nice, but not something i'll reach for often.

at first: reading the description, i'm not sure why i ordered this. i smell the lavender, musk, and ozone, but i'm not sure what else. on: citrussy and light. i think i'm mostly getting the ozone. luckily, it isn't the punch-you-in-the-face kind of ozone that i tend to have a problem with. half an hour later: i keep smelling soap, but with some sort of berry (must be the currants). 1.5 hours later: a bit berry-ish with some must, but mostly soapy. overall: i just didn't get along with this one.

Brings peace to the spirit, a sense of calm and fulfillment, and attracts the aid of beneficial spirits. at first: sort of astringent-smelling. on: very calming. i'm getting green and blue from this, but...i can't pick out any notes. there may be a touch of lotus, but i'm not sure. 1 hour later: soapy. 3 hours later: soft and powdery. overall: this is very indistinct, but it does a good job at making me feel calm.

at first: sweet pumpkin and dry woods. on: very sweet. i think i just smell buttercream. i guess that's the pumpkin note/notes. 1 hour later: now, this makes more sense. it's definitely more woodsy and dusty. the sweetness of the pumpkin is in the background. 4.5 hours later: softer. i get hints of that pumpkiny sweetness every now and then, but when i smell my wrist, it's more of a warm, earthy scent. overall: an amazing scent. at least i know i'll like one of the pumpkin patch oils.

at first: really sweet pumpkin pie. on: this smells exactly like pumpkin pie on me. 2 hours later: much lighter and not as sweet or spicy. still warm, but not because of the spices. lovely stuff. 3 hours later: i love sandalwood. this is almost powdery with a base of soft, creamy pumpkin. overall: another winner. this is great stuff. i'll definitely be wearing this a lot during the next few months.

at first: very, very sweet and creamy. on: sweet pumpkin and something tart. this must be the pomegranate one. the sweet creaminess of the pumpkin is balanced nicely with the tart redness of the pomegranate. an interesting combination. 2 hours later: a bit soapy, but still mostly sweet and tart. 3 hours later: fruity, with a creamy pumpkin base underneath. overall: another winner from the pumpkin patch. lovely. however, i really think this one could work well year-round, not just in the fall.

at first: lots of apple. on: a light apple and pumpkin. a great fall scent. the spices are there, but in the background. 1 hour later: the spices are coming forward and the scent is more like apple cider with a slight hint of pumpkin. 5 hours later: this is more spicy and dry now. overall: this is nice, but not really something i can see myself wearing often.

at first: tea and wood. very dry. on: some sort of tea and something almost lemony? this is lovely! very light and fresh. dry, too. half an hour later: almost a candyish sort of lemon. really unexpected from the description. 1.5 hours later: not as sweet, but still very lemony. overall: i adore this. i was a bit iffy on the description, but this is a fabulous light oil.

at first: super earthy and strong. on: this smells like vicks vapo-rub on me. half an hour later: sweeter. i think i smell cinnamon. this was quite a voucher. 1.5 hours later: this smells like gingerbread on me. overall: after this dries, it is really delightful. i didn't use it for its intended purpose, so i can't really comment on that.
-
at first: an earthy scent. very strong. on: i think i smell some pine, with some darker earthy notes. half an hour later: very fresh. this reminds me of some sort of cleaning product. it's much lighter than before. 1.5 hours later: a sharp citrussy scent with pine. overall: i can see how this would help give someone more energy. it's a nice, fresh, reviving scent.
-
at first: a buttery mint. on: i was expecting something very strong, but this is nice and soft. definitely reminiscent of buttermints: a bit chalky, but with a creaminess to it. half an hour later: even sweeter. the mint is lighter. this reminds me of powdered sugar. 1 hour later: still soft, very sweet sugar. less mint. overall: while this is pretty, i don't think i'd wear it often. i like stronger mints and have enought gloriously sweet oils to keep me occupied.

i know. those are newer products. i was actually referring to the folks who have been mentioned after you. what sort of violets are in GV (sweet, powdery, musty)? numb is fabulously bright and powdery violets on me. i haven't really found a good sweet violet scent (like daddyo) from bpal yet. -

i would highly recommend that if any of you are looking for specific similarities, that you search in this thread for the item. i don't think folks are going to keep answering the same questions. -
at first: the lab included this as a freebie in my order. sweet, but boozy, too. there's something a bit woody-y in it, too. interesting. on: warm and dark. very sweet. i can definitely detect the Dimetapp vibe. half an hour later: still warm. overall: this is an interesting scent. i can definitely see how it relates to the setting sun.
-
at first: soft flowers. on: lots of flowers. half an hour later: this is much sweeter now. 2 hours later: floral and warm. overall: this is pretty, but didn't leave much of an impression on me.
-
at first: i can definitely smell the oakmoss and florals. nice, but i don't think this is really me on: very, very woody. i don't thin i'll like this. half an hour later: softer, but all i can smell is the oakmoss and a little leather. 2 hours later: just generally woody. overall: definitely not a scent for me.
-
at first: this definitely isn't for me. it's dark, damp, and dirty. on: i just put the tiniest dab of this on because i'm afraid of it. i can smell the anise, but...something dark and not-clean with it. oh, and my arch-nemesis (vertiver) is there, too. how fabulous. 2 hours later: this has faded quite a bit, but is still dark. overall: as expected, this just isn't the scent for me.
-
at first: this is a dark, rich, indigo-colored scent. on: sweet, watery flowers. half an hour later: more fruity, with some lovely, dark incense and powdery violets. a dark, but not foreboding, scent. 1.5 hours later: soft and violety, but sweet and incensy, too. overall: very lovely. this is heavy, though, so i don't think i'll be wearing it during warmer weather.
-
at first: wow. all i can smell is the almond. i hope the other notes come out when i try this out. on: very, very sweet. cherries? possibly almond. watery, too. very strong. 1.5 hours later: thankfully, this isn't as strong as it was at first. it's definitely rosy, but a bit soapy, too. i don't think this one will be a keeper. 3.5 hours later: this is all rose on me. overall: this is ok, but...yeah. just ok.
-
at first: sweet and floral, but...different. i can't put my finger on it. on: a deep, lush, sweet floral. there's an almost rum-like note to this, too. 1.5 hours later: sweet and a bit fruity, but mostly floral. i love this. overall: i have to admit that this did lift my mood a bit. it's just a very cheery, optimistic scent.

at first: i think i smell vertiver and...more vertiver. maybe some neroli. on: definitely heavily earthy. i might be smelling a bit of patchouli, but i'm not sure. this is very dark. 1 hour later: this is now an almost-sweet patchouli. it isn't as heavy as before, but it still has some weight to it. very nice and calming. 3.5 hours later: this is mostly sandalwood and patchouli. it's very soft and almost has a hint of dustiness to it. overall: i'm going to see how this works when i do yoga and then decide whether or not to keep it.
