at first: fruity and lovely. i can't wait to try this one out. on: lots of musk and citrus. heavier than i expected. 1.5 hours later: musky, fruity, and sweet. lovely. 3 hours later: softly fruity. overall: this is gorgeous. i think i like it even more than fruit moon as far as fruity scents go.

at first: tea and herbs, with a hint of floral. on: i'm getting ginger from this. i'm not sure why. 1.5 hours later: herbal, but with a citrussy note to it. 3 hours later: light and clean. overall: i'm not sure about this. i like the tea/herbal blend and the touch of floral to it. i'll probably keep it to try out again.

at first: heady, slightly sweet flowers. on: lots of flowers. soapy ones, fresh ones, and sweet ones. 1.5 hours later: soapy and floral. 3 hours later: a sort of general, soft floral. overall: this is a really pretty floral once it dries, but i have others i like better.

at first: wow! strong, sweet, thick rum. on: thick, heavy, buttery rum. 1.5 hours later: still butter, sweet, and boozy. very nice. 3 hours later: pretty much gone. overall: this is fun, but i don't think i'd wear it often. i have other, more interesting boozy scents that work better on my skin.

at first: lots of moss and juniper. on: lovely. the grape is strong, but i can catch the oakmoss, civet, and juniper berry, too. lovely. 1.5 hours later: the grape note is gone. i can smell the oakmoss and sage, plus a bit of civet. 3 hours later: really pretty. this has mellowed quite a bit. i can't really pick out any of the notes, but the combination is really nice. overall: i'm so glad i got an imp of this. i'll definitely be using it from time to time.

at first: gorgeous. wonderful spices and musk. on: odd. something is salty. not sure about this. 1.5 hours later: much prettier. a spicy musk. 3 hours later: gorgeous. a smooth, spicy musk. overall: beautiful, sexy stuff. i'm keeping this one.

at first: dark musks and sweet dragon's blood. on: dragon's blood, lots of musk, and a hint of black currant. lovely. 1.5 hours later: much warmer and muskier. not as sweet. 3 hours later: an odd sharpness plus musk. overall: this is nice, but not something i would reach for very often.

at first: pretty. very wet lilies. on: wet. i smell woods and something else that i can't place. nice. half an hour later: fresh, woodsy, and a bit floral. 1 hour later: i don't think i like the combination of wetness and woods in this. 2 hours later: mostly woods with a hint of something fresh. overall: this isn't a good scent for me.

at first: sweet and ozoney. very intersting. on: ozone! half an hour later: this is so fresh. it's really amazing. there's a bit of something slightly citrussy, too. 1 hour later: still about the same. 2 hours later: lovely and fresh. overall: while this is lovely, i don't think i'd really wear it.

at first: tons of patchouli. very earthy and sweet. on: sweet, with lots of patchouli. lovely. half an hour later: incense-y and patchouli. i think this might be a bit too heavy for me. 1 hour later: a generally earthy scent. 2 hours later: earthy and woodsy. overall: this isn't a scent for me.

at first: balsam and patchouli. very gritty-smelling. on: still balsam and patchouli, but with a hint of musk. very nice. half an hour later: much lighter. earthy, but fresh. very nice stuff. 1 hour later: mostly woods with hint of patchouli. 2 hours later: much lighter. overall: i think that if this had been a bit stronger on the patchouli and lighter on the more "fresh" components, i'd like it more.

at first: sweet, musky booze. amazing!!! on: lots of musk. dark, earthy musks. sweet and boozy, too. love it! half an hour later: darker and muskier. i adore this! 1 hour later: dirty musks with a bit of sugar. 2 hours later: dark, sweet, and smutty. overall: perfect. this is such a sexy scent. i'm glad i grabbed a bottle.

Budding Moon shines as Spring moves with its first breath, and this scent expresses that burst of life-affirming joy through an olfactory interpretation of Huang Quan’s flower-and-bird paintings. Plum blossom, peony, lotus root, Chinese musk and a hint of white ginger. at first: a sweet, powdery flower and lots of lovely musk on: a bit sharp and soapy, but with a hint of ginger, soft musk, and sweetness. half an hour later: powdery, sweet, and soapy. i'm not sure about this. 1 hour later: sweet and powdery. very pretty. 2 hours later: just generally floral. overall: i wan't sure about this one, since i'm not too familiar with some of the notes. while i don't like it for me, i'm glad i tried it out.

at first: heavy, sweet flowers and tart black currant. very nice. on: lots of ylang ylang and other flowers. very pretty. half an hour later: an earthy, slightly sweet floral. 1 hour later: more watery now. i think there's more lily. 2 hours later: lilies and other flowers. overall: this is pretty, but i probably wouldn't wear it.

at first: sweet, fruity, and green. amazing. on: a gorgeous, sweet berry scent. half an hour later: fresh, light, and a bit tart. lovely. 1 hour later: still tart berries. lovely. 2 hours later: soft berries. overall: i really like the simplicity of this. i like that it isn't a very sweet berry scent.

at first: salty and...corn chips? weird. on: this is much prettier now. there's a sweet, almost foody note to this. very pretty. half an hour later: soft and sweet. i like this a lot. 1 hour later: still sweet and lovely. i really like this. 2 hours later: very pretty and light. overall: i'm not sure about this, but i think i'll hang onto it for a while longer.

at first: church incense. on: incense, but with something dark that i don't like. half an hour later: incense. nothing else to say, really. 1 hour later: earthy incense. 2 hours later: very woodsy. overall: i think this may have a bit of cedar in it. i didn't really like it.

at first: a lovely, simple combination. i smell the clove first, and then the cinnamon and pepper. lovely. on: cinnamon and pepper. sweet, but hot. very interesting, if a bit thin to my nose. half an hour later: very hot. i can't believe my skin isn't red from this one. i can definitely smell the fullness of clove, plus the pepper and cinnamon. 1.5 hours later: all cinnamon. i may detect a hint of pepper. 4.5 hours later: slightly sweet and cinnamony. overall: not a scent for me.

at first: heavy musk and cassia. on: tons of cassia and a bit of orange. i can't pick out the other notes. 1 hour later: very soapy and floral, but hot, too. 4 hours later: super-hot cinnamon. overall: i didn't really like this.

at first: sweet, with a hint of cinnamon. i can understand why so many people like this one so much. it smells positively edible. on: amazing. i want to eat this. it reminds me of beaver moon, but spicy. half an hour later: the cinnamon is hotter now, but it's still sweet and lovely. overall: this lasted for a really long time on me and stayed pretty true to its initial scent. a definitely keeper and a possibly bottle purchase when i run out of beaver moon.

at first: i can just barely smell some flowers. this is very light. on: heady flowers and a dry, leafy scent. very tropical. 1.5 hours later: very soapy with a bit of raw potato to it. what is up with my skin lately? 4 hours later: super soapy. overall: this just didn't work on my skin.

at first: a really beautiful combination. a simple rose and sweet violet. on: wow. just gorgeous. sweet violets and damp tearose. 1.5 hours later: sour and a bit soapy. not good. 4 hours later: some soft, powdery violets, but this is fading fast. overall: i have other violet oils that i like better.

at first: lots of citrus, plus some herbs and jasmine. on: lavender and herbs. however, there is an odd note (probably the orange blossom) that i don't like. half an hour later: much nicer. a sweet, dusty jamine and herbs. pretty. 1.5 hours later: a lovely jasmine and a hint of herbs. the orange blossom is gone (hurrah!). 2.5 hours later: there's a lovely jasmine wafting up, but my wrist smells herby. interesting. overall: i'm on the fence about this one. i'm not sure if i'm willing to deal with the orange blossom in order to get to that lovely jasmine.

at first: lily and a bit of cherry. on: sweet cherry and tons of lilies. gorgeous! half an hour later: lilies. lovely. 1.5 hours later: slightly soapy. 2.5 hours later: slightly sweet lilies. beautiful. overall: very pretty, but i have other sweet lily scents i like more than this one.

at first: lots of red musk and opium. on: civet and musk. very interesting. half an hour later: lots of civet and opium. the musk is much lighter. 2 hours later: dark civet. very warm and definitely luxurious. overall: this is nice, but i have other strongly-civet-y scents i like more.
