at first: sweet coconut and strong patchouli. fabulous. on: the benzoin and patchouli and blending really well and the coconut is on top of both of them, a bit buttery. 2 hours later: i bet tons of people are going to hate this, but it's fabulous. tons of heavy, dark patchouli with the slightest hint of something sweet. 3.5 hours later: wonderfully dirty patchouli and benzoin. no coconut. 11 hours later: sweet, warm patchouli overall: i love this. the coconut pretty much disappears, but the benzoin and patchouli are wonderful.

at first: damp, smoky, and dusty. on: opium and incense. still dusty and damp. 1 hour later: odd. my skin is making this sweet and almost fruity. the damp and dusty feeling is still there, though. 4 hours later: still a sweet, dusty scent. 6 hours later: still sweet and dusty. overall: this is pretty, but smells very similar to a lot of oils i have.

at first: a creamy, almost boozy custard scent. on: tons of custard! 2 hours later: this is still sweet, but there is an odd, slightly plastic-y, slightly vegetable-like note coming out. overall: for some reason, some of the sweeter scents go odd on me.

at first: lush, sweet, heady flowers. on: sweet amber with violet and lavender. half an hour later: this is amazing. it keeps wafting up and it lovely, sweet, and earthy. 3.5 hours later: for a while, this reminded me of smut and was really intense. however, now it's a bit smoother. it's a slightly powdery, but mostly a nice musk with floral undertones. i can pick out the orchid. 5.5 hours later: a sweet, podery blend of musk and orchid. overall: interesting, but i think black orchid may be too similar on me.

at first: lavender and bitter grapefruit. on: slightly sweet, but bitter and citrussy with a good dose of lavender. 2.5 hours later: faint, powdery citrus. 6 hours later: gone. overall: like a lot of citrus-heavy scents, this just disappeared on me.

at first: a hint of roses, but then sweet, thick, buttery, currant-y tarts. on: wow...sooooo foody. this is all tart crust and thick, jelly-coated fruit on me. 1 hour later: still foody. very sweet and heavy. 8 hours later: pastry crust. overall: no roses to this for me. i'm not sure how i feel about this one; i don't think it's really "me".

at first: a slightly sweet, damp scent. on: odd. i can really smell the red clay and something sweet. 2 hours later: still clay, with something metallic and sweet and something that smells like stone. 5.5 hours later: powdery and sweet, with a bit of heavy wine. overall: i really like this a lot. it's sort of an odd scent, but it's still nice. i definitely chose the best haunted house blend for me.

at first: beautiful. definitely a sleek scent. on: beautiful. i can't really describe this. black and sleek, but not dark, if that makes any sense whatsoever. 1 hour later: i'm in love with this. powdery and smooth. i still can't pick out anything in particular, but it's lovely. 2.5 hours later: a bit sweeter now and the verbene is coming out. still gorgeous. 7 hours later: a slightly citussy, powdery scent. overall: i think this may be a new favorite. i may have to hunt down some more.

at first: switch pumpkin with a hint of neroli and lemon. on: sweet and citrussy, with a smooth base of pumpkin. 1 hour later: much, much sweeter. i can mostly smell the benzoin and a hint of vanilla. the citrus is cone and i can only smell a hint of the red ginger. 2.5 hours later: still mostly sweet benzoin, with a bit of a powdery feel. 7 hours later: sweet and a bit powdery. overall: very pretty, but not particularly strong on the pumpkin.

at first: a lighter scent, with a lot of sage and a bit of pumpkin. on: very fresh and a bit dry 1 hour later: very dry and grassy. i can't really pick the notes out, but i like this a lot. 3 hours later: dry. 7 hours later: a dry, slightly citrussy scent. overall: this is really nice. i like drier scents, and the addition of pumpkin makes it really interesting.

at first: mostly pumpkin with a hint of white chocolate. on: sweet, creamy pumpkin. very sweet. 1 hour later: a creamy, slightly sweet pumpkin. 3 hours later: mostly sweet caramel. 7 hours later: a faint white chocolate scent. overall: nice. a bit foody, but not overwhelming. the drydown is nice and smooth.

at first: a crazy blend of fruit and flowers. on:lots of rose and sweet fruit notes. 1 hour later: this just smells like wood on me. 4.5 hours later: all wood. overall: my skin is weird sometimes. this just doesn't work for me.

at first: pumpking, tobacco, and flowers. on: lovely flowers and tobacco with a bit of pumpkin. 3 hours later: a powdery tobacco and floral blend. there's just a hint of pumpkin in the background. 5 hours later: faintly floral. overall: very pretty. an interesting take on a pumpkin blend.

at first: pumpkin, with a slight hint of white grapes. on: lovely. this is really lovely. still mostly pumpkin, but with the freshness of pear and grapes. 3 hours later: fresh, sweet, and fruity. this is really gorgeous and not foody. 5 hours later: very faint. tea-like. overall: lovely, lovely stuff. the pumpkin fades pretty quickly on me, but the other notes are divine.

at first: flowers, metal, and lots of ozone. on: mostly flowers and ozone. 2 hours later: this smells like a very ozone-heavy cologne. 5.5 hours later: a soapy floral scent. overall: i'm not really surprised that this didn't work on me.

at first: a dry, masculine cologne. on: this has a bit of a fizzyness to it now. odd. there's also a very dry, earthy note. 2 hours later: a sweet, dry, tobacco scent with something dark underneath. 5.5 hours later: an oddly sweet, powdery, dry scent. overall: this i definitely interesting, but not something i would wear.

2007 version at first: sweet, heady flowers and herbs. on: fresh lemon rind and herbs. 1 hour later: a sweet, spring-like floral with herbs and a bit of citrus. 6 hours later: a faint sweet / citrussy combination with a bit of herbs. overall: this is nice on me, but not something i'd wear often.

at first: dark and earthy. on: heavy, dark myrrh with a hint of something hot 1 hour later: a smoke, dirty earth scent. 6 hours later: a rather masculine perfume scent. i keep getting whiffs of this and wondering what smells so good. overall: i'm not sure that i'd reach for this often, but i like it enough to keep the decant i got. it's sort of a sleeper hit.

at first: add another knitter to the list of people who had to get this. it's a watery, light, sweet wood scent in the bottle. on: there's a heavier, darker wood scent to this now, along with a nice dash of rose. 1 hour later: a powdery, slightly soapy violet has taken over. there's a hint of damp wool in the background. as the reviewers above mentioned, this is reminiscent of numb, but it doesn't feel as cold to me. it's a more comforting, cozy scent. 6 hours later: a very full floral scent with a hint of wood notes in the background. i'm not sure about this one. 7 hours later: a very damp scent, there's till that violet scent, but with what i swear is some wool to it. crazy. overall: this is lovely. not quite as much wool as i would like, but lovely. i'm glad i grabbed a bottle.

at first: a powdery, spicy, exotic floral with a bit of sweetness. on: powdery, fresh notes. it's hard to pick anything out. half an hour later: sweet fruits and smoth, powdery flowers. 1 hour later:a bit soapy, but with lovely fruity, green notes and florals. 7 hours later: powdery flowers. overall: this floral blend just doesn't do it for me.

A swirling, hypnotic perfume of black currant, poppy, red and black musk, lilies, nicotiana, and patchouli. at first: heavy, heady dark earthy notes. on: still tons of dark notes with a large does of poppy. 2 hours later: soapy, dark, earthy notes. 4.5 hours later: powdery and a bit soapy. 6 hours later: a very soft, powdery, slightly soapy floral. overall: this floral just doesn't do much on my skin.

at first: a white floral with a bit of a hard edge and a hint of sweet cream. on: slightly soapy white flowers with orange blossom on sweet cream. 2 hours later: an odd, vegetable-y floral with a bit of sweetness. 4.5 hours later: a strong vegetable note. 6 hours later: still vegetable-y. overall: some sweeter scents just go bad on me and this is one of them.

at first: a sweet, woody scent. on: red sandalwood and another wood note with a bit of amber. 1.5 hours later: mostly wood notes. 7 hours later: a lovely, sweet wood scent. overall: this ends up really nice on me. i love the balance between the sweetness and the wood notes.

at first: tons of ozone. on: mint and ozone. very bright and cold. 1.5 hours later: mostly ozone and frankincense. 7 hours later: a faint, light musk scent. overall: this is pretty, but i'm not usually crazy about ozone scents.

at first: dark vetiver and some sweet notes, with a lot of lavender. on: mostly vetiver, with a bit of lavender and some vanilla. 1.5 hours later: soft, sweet notes mixed with a bit of clary sage. 7 hours later: warm, smooth vanilla. overall: this is nice, but not something i would wear often.
