    Love

I love Love! It's sweet and pretty and very girly! Marshmallows and sweet roses and strawberries, whats not to love? Initially, this smells quite sweet - mostly marshmallow, but then Love blooms into something truly divine. After a few minutes, the vanilla starts to come thru, along with a beautiful fluffy strawberry scent. Oh, this scent is gorgeous. And Pink. At least thats my impression of this lovely liquid.

    Dragon's Milk

In the imp: Dragons Blood, like a lovely juicy floral, like gardenia. On skin: Dragons Blood, but much warmer, this must be the "honeyed vanilla" coming to the front. So very nice. Wow, I really enjoy this scent! This doesn't morph too much on my skin, unlike others I have tried (which end up becoming like 5 scents in one. Not necessarily bad, but sometimes frustrating when you like hour 2 of the scent but not hour 3 thru 5). This reminds me of Dragons Blood mixed with sweetened condensed milk, but in a gloriously wonderful, I would eat my arm if I could, but I'm not a zombie sort of way. In short, if you like Dragons Blood, or sweet florals, or just plain sweeter scents, this one is for you!

    Has No Hanna

Brings a rush of good luck, lifts the spirit, and helps alleviate depression. I got this as a from from the lab ... thanks guys! In all honesty, I was afraid to try this scent because it smelled so overpoweringly strong and astringent to me in the tiny vial, like a rancid floral. I'm thinking that this will maybe eat my skin or something. I finally gathered up my courage and tried this out and was very pleasantly surprised. As opposed to smelling like rancid florals, this turned into a lovely sweet floral, almost juicy. This reminds me of maybe gardenias, or as another poster said, magnolia. This scent lasted a while on my skin, giving off wisps of wonderfully sweet fragrant florals. I really enjoyed this scent! Also, Has No Hanna is supposed to "lift spirits and alleviate depression" - I'm all over that! I need to invest in a bottle.

    Sweet lemony floral?

My vote is for Dorian, Lolita (reminds me of Lemon Heads candy - yummy) and Bon Vivant. I know Bon Vivant is not lemony, but it is bright and bubbly which I think makes a nice spring/summer scent.

    Hymn

Based on an incense blend sacred to the Virgin Mary: perfect rose absolute and Palestinian Lily of the Valley with olibanum, labdanum, frankincense and myrrh. This was a frimp from the lab ... thanks guys! In the imp: A cool or watery floral incense. On skin: Very similar to the imp, only the floral notes are stronger. I can't make out exactly which floral notes I'm smelling (but rose and lily of the valley is listed within this scent description) Dry on skin The myrrh is making itself known now. The floral is still there, but is turning slightly powdery. This is the second time of wearing this and I'm getting more powdery and incensey myrrh notes. When I first tested this, it was fresh and floral, much less powdery. I guess that just goes to show you how different skin chemistry can be during different days of the month. As an aside, I really liked the first time I tried this scent as I could really pick out the floral note of "lily of the valley". I think that that note makes this blend more green and fresh which is what I'm really missing this time around

    Port-Au-Prince

In the imp: Oh, wow! This is a super sweet marzipan mixed with booze and a slight kick of clove. Wet on skin: This stays very true to the imp, with a little more clove coming forward ... yum! Dry on skin: Clove Wow, this scent starts out so promising on my skin, but turns into pure clove. Don't get me wrong, clove is a nice scent, but this screams CLOVE, CLOVE, CLOVE! Too bad the almond only appears during the wet stage, as that is the most wearable part of this blend. I'll guess I'll have to keep searching for that special almond scent.

    Vice

Imp: smells like a tootsie roll and orange, with a bit of cherry ... yummy! Wet on skin: Wow, this smells pretty muck like in the imp, sweet and delicious! Dry on skin: This smells like a chocolate tootsie roll with a little bit of orange, which fades and is replaced by a hint of cherry. I do really this scent - especially in it's infancy, when it's all chocolate gorgeousness with a smidgen of fruit. Alas, this stage is very short and, this scent just doen't last on me

    Blood Amber

Slivers of warm, pulsating blood forever crystallized in golden amber resin. In the imp: A lovely floral, with a touch of dragons blood Wet on skin: Dragons blood, with a hint of a sweet fresh floral in the background. The floral may be lilacs or lily of the valley? Dry on skin: The floral note becomes stronger and compliments the dragons blood This scent is supposed to have amber mixed in, but I am not getting that on my skin. What I am getting is this wonderfully lush floral, like lilac, or lily of the valley. This is a very pretty scent, but unfortunately, my skin eats this and am left with only a whisper of fragrance after an hour or two.

    Dorian

A Victorian fougere with three pale musks and dark, sugared vanilla tea Imp: Lemony tea Wet on skin: Lemon with a bit of foody cake/vanilla thrown into the mix Dry: warm, lemony, cakey goodness Love this scent! I remember when I first tried this on. My hubby and I went on date night to the movies to see Seven Psychopaths; I know, lovely date movie right?! We're a little odd. Anyway, I'm sitting in my seat with my elbow resting on the arm rest and my wrist up to my face. I couldn't stop sniffing myself - I was addicted!

    Marquise de Merteuil

In the imp: a floral blend Wet skin: Still floral. I'm looking at the notes for this blend and cannot for the life of me identify one of them within this scent, except the "bouquet of fresh florals" Dry on skin: A nice light floral, a little powdery. Obviously a floral, but nothing really stands out for me in this one. I would love to have the peach and amber come thru. Heck I'd like to know what the vetiver smells like mixing with everything. I think I'll try this again later to see if aging this little imp does anything. I'll update this review if anything changes

    The King of Hearts

In the imp: Ripe fresh cherries and ... aftershave? Wet on Skin: Cherries and aftershave Dry: Cherries are the main component of this scent while there is a floral/slightly musky background. This is an interesting scent. The cherries are quite prominent, which I really liked, but the background of lavender/rose just seemed a little too "mens aftershave" for me. I was surprised to see that there is red and white musk in this as I could barely detect it. Normally I amp musk like crazy, but with this scent, I didn't ... hummm. Anyway, it's a pretty smell - but not something I would normally wear.

    Love-In-Idleness

Got Love in Idleness as a frimp from the lab I am so glad I did! In the imp: A sweet floral Wet on skin: floral which grows in sweetness as it sit on the skin Dry on skin: A fresh floral that has just the right amount of sweetness. I think I'm getting a scent of rose or maybe peony? It's not the dry and dusty type, but fresh and green and full of life. Reminds me of mid spring when everything is lush and blooming. I love this scent! Too bad it drys down and fades quite quickly on my skin. This makes me want to invest in a scent locket

    Love's Torments

In the imp: Woah! Very strong and earthy! Wet on skin: Earth and wood with a note of citrus coming coming thru. Dry on skin:The citrus died very quickly and was taken over by a slightly bitter woody fragrance. After some thought and deliberation, I finally found out where I have smelled this before. This scent reminds me of the old Noubar soap from LUSH! Ok, I guess it's the vetiver which I'm smelling, which is somewhat bitter and earthy. I lost the white sandalwood somewhere along the way. Love's Torments isn't as strong as I had feared it would be on my skin, but it's still not a scent that I would normally wear. I think I'll give this another try to see if there is more neroli next time

    Bordello

In the imp: Wow, Very sweet, almost like cough syrup, but with more fruit. Wet on skin: I can smell berries coming thru the syrupy sweetness of the initial application. Also getting an undercurrent of warmth - most likely the amaretto and burgundy wine. Dry on skin: Sweet, fruity, berry, warmth ... These are the descriptive words which come to mind after Bordello has dried. I LOVE this scent - its so sweet and luscious and marvelous!

    Quaeris Quot Mihi Basiationes

Infinite kisses: white honey, red currant, sugar cane, and ginger. In the imp: piquant ginger note, with a sweetness in the background, very strong! Wet on skin: Oh, much better! Ginger, but not as spicy/strong as in the bottle, with more sweetness coming thru Dry on Skin: I find that as this wears, the ginger becomes softer, more rounded, and the white honey make an appearance; but this is only once the perfume starts to fade. I didn't get much currant out of this scent, but that may just be me. I seem to get more ginger and sugar cane, with an undercurrent of white honey at the end of the wear time. I find this scent lasts a decent period of time, at least for me. Wear time about 3-4 hours before I find it needs a touch up. I'm so glad I splurged on this scent! Quaeris Quot Mihi Basiationes is very pretty, light and sweet. Love it!

    Laudanum

The essence of the most debauched hunger encapsulated into a perfume. Desire beyond love, anguish beyond sanity. Nutmeg, sassafras, black poppy and myrrh. Imp: minty lemon/lime medicinal smell On skin: same smell with hints of goose down I don't know whats wrong with me and my nose and skin, but I'm not getting nutmeg or root beer I've got this crazy mint thing going on which is odd because there is no mint even listed as a note - where is this coming from?! In a previous review, someone wrote that this was "medicinal" smelling, and I agree with that assessment. My own notes include lemon/lime, goose down, mint and pee (sorry Beth - please don't be mad) In short, my nose is weird and my skin sucks. I wish I could enjoy this scent like many others have, but this just doesn't work on me.

    Incubus

Imp: Minty, musky ... it seems like this oil should be green On skin: Eek - mint with a cloying sweetness - burnt caramel? Dry on skin: The mint settles down and the musk comes forward, but there is still this burnt caramel note which is throwing me for a loop. Ok, while I don't love this scent, it should be noted that my hubby liked this one quite a bit The issue I'm having with this one is the combo of mint and sweet. I sniff my wrist and I get a sweet note which attaches itself to the back of my nose and throat - almost like I snorted sweet-n-low. I know, weird right?! Anyway, I've got this sweetness stuck on the back of my throat with this minty musky burnt thing going on. Anyway - I'm chalking this up to my skin chemistry and crazy nose.

    House of Night

In the imp: Floral, with a green/earthy tone Wet on skin:same as in the imp, but with less green and more of a pretty floral Dry on skin:A light incense with a floral background Wow, this is quite pretty! I'm glad I got a chance to test this as it was a frimp from the lab - thank you labbies At first I thought this would be too floral, but there is a wonderful base of incense - probably the "funeral boughs" and "dismal green laden with grief". Pleasantly surprised by this blend.

    The Harlot's House

angel’s trumpet, violet, white sandalwood, oude, copaiba balsam, angelica, white tea, olibanum, and oakmoss. In the imp: A bold dry floral On skin: Floral - but not overpowering, with a bitter note in the background. Dry on skin: Still floral, but the bitter note has faded away and the white sandalwood is coming to the forefront. I find this scent to be a mix of a dry, soapy floral with a touch of wood. Its actually kind of pretty, even though I gravitate toward more sweet/foody scents. This does have a very floral/green feel to it - like laundry on a spring day, with a tough of sandalwood to ground things.

    Perversion

Smoky rum and black tobacco with a whisper of steamy leather with a splash of crystalline chardonnay, layered over a sensual, sweet, and deceptively magnetic base of tonka. In the imp: Smokey creamy leather. Wet on skin: Smokey leather Dry on skin: Smokey leather with a lightly sweet creamy undercurrent - probably the tonka. I've tried this scent a few times, and I still have mixed emotions about this blend. I find that this oil has a tendency to change scents depending on my chemistry/cycle. Sometimes this is sweet and creamy, other times it'll be too smokey and give me an actual headache - weird, right? Anyway, when Perversion behaves, it's so very nice; I can't stop smelling my wrists Also, my hubby likes this scent on me - he actually gave me a compliment - and he normally doesn't notice; unless I put my wrist in from of his face and am like "sniff". In conclusion, I'll keep my imp, but probably refrain from a bottle.

    Cockaigne

The Land of Plenty, also called Luilekkerland – the Lazy, Luscious Land: milk and honey, sweet cakes and wine. In the Imp: I think this smells almost exactly like that candle store in the mall (you know which one I mean). Nearly overpoweringly sweet, cakey, buttery and boozy at once. Wet on skin: Pretty much like the vial, except toned down to an acceptable level of scent goodness Dry: I still think this smells like that candle company, but not in a bad way. Once I read the scent details in this blend, I can pick them out, like the honey and sweet cakes. I do like this scent and it's very foody, but I have this stupid brain scent connection where all I can think of is the mall Stupid brain. Otherwise I like this scent. Edited For punctuation

    Fenris Wolf

In the imp: Smells like an earthy mens aftershave - but less after shave, more woody. Wet on skin: Pretty much like the imp - but with a little more warmth coming thru - probably the musk Dry on skin: The sandalwood is definitely making itself known, along with the warmth of musk and amber. Very reminiscent of Penny Dreadful for me, but more woody and less floral. On me, the sandalwood seems to switch between woodsy and earthy dirt - probably why this reminds me of Penny Dreadful (because of the "dirt/earth" scent) Although, I don't foresee myself wearing this, I think this scent would smell lovely on the hubby Update: Wore this scent for a couple more hours and found it has turned all sweet red musk, no more sandalwwd/woodsy scent to be found anywhere I guess my skin just amps red musk.

    Mouse's Long and Sad Tale

Vanilla, two ambers, sweet pea and white sandalwood. In the imp: amber and a floral note Wet on skin: Very much like the bottle, an light floral with a hint of sweetness. Dry down: A light sandalwood and warm amber scent. Again, this is slightly sweet, but definitely not overpowering. I'm not really getting any vanilla or sweet pea, but this may be my skin chemistry. What I'm getting from this scent is the sandalwood and amber. This, at least on me, is a light and pretty scent with a more earthy/floral slant than sweet or foody. .... This remains a light fragrance on my skin, but today I really smell the vanilla and white sandalwood. It's sweet and much more "foody" than last time. Guess this goes to show it's all about body chemistry. I may just need to get a bottle of this! Edited for punctuation and for different wear experience

    Lolita

Bright, sweet and youthful, but swelling with a poisonous sexuality. Glittering heliotrope, honeysuckle, orange blossom and lemon verbena. In the imp: citrus, bright and slightly sweet. There is a background note of bitterness. On skin: Smells very much like in the bottle, slightly sweet citrus with a hint of bitterness thrown in. Dry: This smells just like Lemonheads candy. After the dry-down, I'm left with a sweet citrus floral (most likely the orange blossom coming thru); its very nice!

    Hellcat

A soft, sensual, luxuriant blend with a wicked bite: hazelnut, buttercream, honey mead, rum and sweet almond. In the imp: Smells like almonds and alcohol...I like it! Wet n my skin: Wow, it smells like almond paste - yum! Dry on skin: The almond fades away leaving behind a sweet honey-like spiciness. I can't pinpoint the scent, but it reminds me of cinnamon without being "cinnamon". There are no cinnamon notes listed in this, so maybe what I'm smelling is the combination of the rum and honey mead. I really like this scent, but the throw is very low; it just may be my skin chemistry though. My epidermis does have a tendency to eat some oils If I were to get a bottle, I'd probably use it up quickly as I'd re-apply often.
