Paypal questions. When the lab ships the order, does the "Action" box next to the order details change? Also, do you get any email notifications saying it's been shipped? Basically, I know they got my order on 9/18...I don't know if it's been sent.

I was wearing Juke Joint yesterday and was attacked by a bee. I wasn't sure if it was the perfume or my hair products. But it was buzzing around my face and head like no one's business.

I have been wearing Juke Joint non-stop since I got it. I love it. It starts out with a minty alcohol smell, although I don't get the sweetness of the bourbon and sugar. There's something else initially upon applying that I can't pinpoint. Sometimes I think it's lime. And sometimes I think it's anise. Once it starts to dry, it starts to turn very smokey. It does get musty and slightly powdery on me. But not so much that I can't wear it. It's really on the brink of being a scent that is too powdery to wear. I think the musty, smoke smell is keeping the powder in check. It fades very quickly so I might have to start carrying the bottle with me to reapply throughout the day. ....it also makes me think of Juke Joint Jezebel.

Just off the top of my head....Absinthe, Embalming Fluid, Apothecary, and Zombi turned to pure baby powder on me. I think it's some herbal note that does it, but I can't pinpoint it.

Blue Moon is fresh/clean and has cucumber. You'd probably have to trade someone for it.

For those of you who have an oil that doesn't burn one day, but then burns the next... Are you applying the oil right after getting out of a hot shower? Open pores could be an issue. Just a thought.

For those of you looking for an unscented lotion to mix your oil with... I use plain ole Aveeno Unscented lotion. The oatmeal in it calms any itching and it's not greasy. If I have a burny BPAL oil, I'll put a little on my palm, add a squirt of Aveeno from the pump bottle, mix in my hand, and rub into the "tougher" areas...like my elbows and knees.

I'd get one of those little scent lockets so it's not touching your skin at all. Or run the wand through your hair.

Inferno caused much, much pain. :D Oh how it hurt...so badly... (see avatar) I've been very careful using any oil with cinnamon now. Most of them I can't wear on my skin. For some I can tolerate mild burning.

Oh how I love this scent. Why? Because it smells similar to Samhain (without the pumpkin n spice) Mine doesn't smell cherry-ish at all. It has a strong apple, spice, cinnamon scent right out of the bottle. And then dries more powdery and flowery. I can't determine which flower though.... It does give me that summer-just-turning-to-autumn vibe.

I placed an order on 5/15 via Paypal and haven't heard anything. I emailed last week asking if they at least received my order. I haven't gotten a response. Brian mentioned the other day about re-printing some Paypal orders. I don't know if one of those is mine...I'm not sure what "re-printing a Paypal order" actually means. Were they originally overlooked? So I just wait... I know eventually it'll show up...

Well, I tried to reply before and the Page Not Found demon ate it. So here goes again... Diana, is there any way you could put our locations under our avatars? I know I can drill down into a profile but....I don't want to! If I'm being a pain, just whack me!!

Have scent descriptions been posted anywhere for Blue Moon? I'd like to have some inkling as to what I will be buying--especially since cinnamon is torture for me.

If your order form is in Word, you can just go into your Word doc and Print. Then select Acrobat Writer or Distiller as the print option. It should create the pdf for you.

Whatever you do is cool by me. I too have been checking for the updates so I could place my order...so I'm just going to have to place one order now and one after the update. My bottle of Burial is EMPTY and I need more.

I think she can skip the fraying process. That seems really tedious and time consuming. If someone likes them frayed, they can do it themselves.

Voodoo gives me pretty bad headaches but I wear it anyway. I'm not sure which single note is causing the headaches. I can't wear cinnamon oils either. I put on Inferno and it was actually torture. I looked like I had burns on my wrists and neck. I learned my lesson--I do spot tests before slathering an oil all over my body. I've been taking strong antibiotics on an empty stomach for about a week now. They make me so nauseated that I can't tolerate smelling any of the oils except citrus-y ones. I'm ok with Jabberwocky. That's about it.

Everytime I put on Voodoo, I feel like I'm stepping into a voodoo shop in New Orleans. The combo of patchouli, vanilla, almond, and pine floods me with memories of the oils, incense and damp wood of those little shops in the Quarter. It gets a little powdery after a few hours so I just reapply more. I love this one...just fabulous!

Same for me. UPS always requires a signature from me--which I like because they will make 3 attempts. I usually miss the guy on the first day and then leave work early the second day and wait for him. FedEx will leave anything at my door. I was not happy to find my DDR RAM from Crucial sitting at the door! I think FedEx also drives over packages with their trucks--whatever I get is usually broken or mangled! On a side note, my UPS guy is pretty hot so I look forward to seeing him.
