In Bottle: Very sweet. It's like pure sugar syrup, with faint musky undertones.

On Application: And hello booze! Wow, that's strong, but not in a bad way. It's almost like a rum drink, like a Zombie or something. Still very sweet, with an almost bubblegum scent to it. The musk seems to have disappeared, unless I inhale the scent very deeply. To sum in a word so far, it's very *playful*. I'm starting to feel the twangs of heartbreak, because I think this is going to turn out to be way too sweet for me to wear. I want to like teh smut!!!!

On Drydown: Wait, wait! The sweetness is really dying down now. The musks are much more prevalent now. And it's not giving me a headache! The throw isn't very intense though, and it seems to be fading fast. Still, what it's turned into is very pleasant.

Comments: I think this is going to require another test or two. The initial sweetness stage isn't unpleasant in the least, but it's not really me. However, on drydown, the scent is much more something that I would wear. I'm wondering if layering it with something heavier in a dry musk in the initial application would balance this out. It's probably a sin to layer teh smut though.

Final Verdict: Retest. As it stands right now, a couple imps will definitely be kept, because I *like* how it smells, just not necessarily for an all-the-time scent.

In Bottle: Sweet. Very sweet. The caramel is very rich, almost buttery. I very faintly smell the coconut. The spice lingers in my nostrils. Reminds me a bit of how Underpants smells in the bottle.

On Application: Wow, the sweetness appears for a moment, but is replaced by something slightly smoky, that dances with the sweetness. It's not as sickly sweet as it was in the bottle, but is a darker type of sweet. There's a subtle floral coming through. Very subtle. After a couple minutes, toasted coconut very faintly comes through. My mouth is watering.

On Drydown: Rich caramel, only slightly sweet, with an almost vanilla edge to it, then the coconut reminds me it's there. I can smell the amber a lot more now that it's dry on my skin. It's slightly spicy, slightly sweet. It's a very comforting scent, actually.

Comments: It might be a bit sweet to wear on a daily basis, but it might be nice every once in a while. I might seek out another imp of this, but I don't think I'd need a bottle. Good thing, since it's an LE.

Final Verdict: Keep, but I don't need a bottle.

ETA: I lied, I need a bottle. After a couple hours, this is just divine. Mostly amber, with a little sweet. Yum.

In the Bottle: Tart. Tangy. Then I smell moss.. Dusty, dried moss. The patchouli comes at the very last moment.

On Application: The citrus is very apparent right away, accompanied by berry, slightly sweet. The citrus is rather tart, more like a lime, almost. It might be the berry offsetting it. After a couple minutes, the patchouli comes more to the front, but it's a darker patchouli than I'm used to. More musky, almost, to my nose. After about 5 minutes, it's almost smelling like detergent on me. Orange-scented detergent.

On Drydown: Oof, this one's giving me a headache. All I smell is this spiced orange, almost like a tea. It's not a bad scent on drydown, but it's way too "bright" for me to wear. That, and the headache it's giving me isn't good.

Comments: It's too tart, too sour, for me to wear. It's just not appealing to me at all. The headache isn't helping. Swap pile. ETA: The tartness has really calmed down after about 40 minutes or so. It's still too detergenty for me, but it's a little more tolerable than it was.

Verdict: Swap pile.

In the bottle: Medicinal floral. Green.

On application: Whoa. Lily of the Valley… first thing that comes to mind. Very delicate, velvety floral. Not overpowering at all. Very gentle. There's a bit of a bright note coming out now, perhaps something citrus, but still delicate. I don't detect any lavender like others have, just this scent of lillies, possibly rose or jasmine.

On drydown: Soft, powdery floral. Not overpowering in the least. When I take a whiff, I still get that delicate rose/lily/jasmine/whatever, almost powdery, but not in a bad way. Once I inhale, I get a faint waft of lavender. The citrus I noted on application has faded.

Comments: The scent of this is just gorgeous. Very delicate floral. I don't normally like florals because of how heady they are -- they give me headaches. Not the case with this, it's just a lovely scent. We'll test the sleep attributes right now. *thud*

Then, when I wake up, I will have to get a big bottle of this. It's wonderful.

My first review, here goes!

In the bottle: Sharp, woody, incensy.

On application: Even stronger than in the bottle, the incense scent really comes out. It's not like cheap incense, but a very nice, smooth blend. It's a bit overwhelming.

On drydown: The sharpness calmed, and a very warm frankincense, maybe some myrrh, has come out. There is a sweetness to the scent that makes it very delicate. Very faint woody scent, and a touch of smokiness.

Comments: Lovely. It seemed way too strong at first, but as it had a chance to settle, it calmed down into a very lovely, warm incense scent. I really like this. It's very calming.

I am so glad I managed to score a bottle of this. It's wonderful.
