today i found out my best friend is engaged and my first thought was that a BPAL scent would be perfect for her wedding day as part of my wedding gift for her but i have no idea what to get for her! the scent she normally wears is dior pure poison, so she likes deep florals with amber and woody-musky undertones (that's what my nose gets from that particular scent anyway) so does anyone have any suggestions of what scents would be maybe similar to this but 'wedding-ey' at the same time?

very floral in the imp, quite soapy, wasn't sure if i'd like this one a lot lighter on the skin, the rose is dominant for me, i'm not huge on rose but it's a nice romantic scent, i think it'd be a great scent for spring, for days you're outside enjoying the sunshine with someone you love. not sweet at all on my skin, for me, the lotus is totally drowned out by the rose/lilies, but that's ok, i still quite like it, this has a lot of staying power too final verdict: don't think i'll buy a big bottle but i'll definately finish my imp

this is beautiful in the imp, i can't smell the violet really, but i do smell the geranium and lily and the autumn leaves, nice and fresh and crisp on my skin it became a bit sweeter and a bit deeper, the rose came out a bit and the autumn leaves faded. after about an hour though, the whole scent started fading i'd love this if it were more long lasting. i'll finish my imp but i don't think i'll get a bottle

in the imp all i could smell really was the pear, which was good, because it smelled yum! on my skin the lilies really started to fight for attention, yet again, good, because i like lilies, after a while though, they calmed down and let the honeysuckle come out and the pear made another appearance. all in all, i really enjoyed all aspects of this fragrance, it's very light and sweet and pretty, definately the sort of thing i normally go for, i think i'll be buying a bottle of this. it has a decent throw too, i could smell it all day (i applied it to my wrists, neck and in between my breasts) and even now, after 8 hours or so, i can still smell it

ok i just put this on and i am in love in the imp: apricot brandy, it really does smell like that on the skin: at first it was really boozy, this is fading a little now and the apricot is deepening, there's a scent underneath i can't put my finger on, but it saves this from being too foody and leaves it sophisticated and sensual instead ETA: after an hour: i can still smell this, it's still deepening. i'm absolutely in love with this scent, i'll definately buy a bottle

does anyone know of any bpal scents that smell like/compliment elixer or black magic? i'm absolutely in love with both scents (which are very similar to my nose) at the moment and would love to get a perfume of it sorry if someone's asked about either of these products, i skimmed the thread then did a search but didn't find anything
