    Talvikuu

Talvikku is cold, but not too minty ... that gives it the Nuclear winter feel. The pine is there...but Talvikku is one of only a handful of scents I actually like the pine in. There is definitely some dublin-esque in this..but there is a hint of berry in there, that is almost reminiscent of Mabon. I would recommend Talvikku to anyone willing to give pine one last try. =)

    Val Sans Retour

pine, a light citrus, a hint of sweet ozone.. yes.. but it's very very strong in the vial.. i am actually warry of putting it on as all of these notes are not to my taste. It is perfumy and clean in a somewhat jarring way... I was glad to have tried it, but I think this is not for me.

    Black Lily

demure, and a little playful, but dark.. and refreshing lily... I have to update later with just what it is like on... like throw and duration.. but I was impressed with how delicate this was... but with just enough sneakyness to warrant the 'black' title.

    Zero

Zero is a chilly, somewhat incensy floral. It's just.. perfumy.. and I have never been able to make out individual notes. This could be worn by a woman or a man. It's flat, and almost ever so slighty aquatic.

    Fire Eater

I... have no idea what is in fire eater. I really am not sure what it smells like, but it doesn't smell the same on me as it does in the bottle... I don't dislike it, but I don't /really/ love it either. It's extremely confusing and runs the gambit of every type of scent besides foody. It is incensy, perfumy, floral... and more. I may just keep it because it's so mysterious... I guess flames are ever-changing... that is what Fire Eater is for me.

    Shub-Niggurath

In the vial you get all the ginger and spicyness and clove but for me... on my skin, it turns to nearly red-hots and reminds me of Uranus. But Uranus didn't have any depth to it, Shub does. I am pleased to have been able to try this, and I anticipated adoring it.. but I think I will be passing it on to one of its better fans.

    Gingerbread Poppet

This is a skillfully crafted gingerbread smell. And though the doughyness is intriguing, I find it off-putting. Something a little cloying about it, sort of yeasty in a way. I can see the appeal of smelling like gingerbread though, but I wish it was a little sharper.

    June Gloom 2004

Definitely very strong lemon in the imp, but there is a floral note.. if you look for it. On the wrist it is still very lemon, and sometimes it is harsh, but I do sense the aquatics and the light florals in the background. For me, it's not as drastic as everyone describes, at least not after an hour of wear. It's a weird wrist-sniffing scent, and I was very intrigued by the way the aquatics were hard to catch. For me, it reminds me of Cerberus. Save instead of the chocolate wafts (very very subtle) it has aquatic wafts.

    Berenice

A cerebral scent, dry, and white. This is a perfume of thought, not heart, and of unforeseen pain and sudden obsession, touched with uncertain twilight and ambiguous horror. Stargazer lily, white musk, clear aloe, blonde amber and winding-cloth linen. This is a white scent that leans towards medicinal... but not as sharp as some professed, in my opinion. The aloe calmed it down and makes it.. refreshing. It's almost aquatic as far as how refreshing it is. It reminds me a little bit of Beatrice.

    The Premature Burial

I am /not/ a fan of dirt scents, but someone pointed me this way. They were adamant about it and so i bought a bottle. I am very relieved, and it is up there as one of my favorite scents. It shares something with Evening Star and Dreamland.. though I can't quite put my finger on it. It also shares something with Kunstkammer. But, there are indeed the earthy notes. Earthy, but spring-earthy. I'm a fan.

    Montresor

Sweet, wine, fruit... It can turn dark, or it can turn bright on its own, perhaps with your mood or your pleasure. a lovely scent.

    Oisin

Soft, green, but perfumey and ..musky. I feel like I have smelled this before. It feels familiar but it's subtle. It does not last very long on the skin. And though some say it's masculine, it may be an aftershave I remember... but it is not masculine per say. I think it just smells like one some people are familiar with. A guy could wear this, to be sure. But so could a woman.

    Yog-Sothoth

The best comment I have heard about Yog was the response the person I traded it to gave me. For the life of me I forget who exactly it was... maybe Ry. But as they said: "This smells like Babies, not baby powder, babies." I can't beat a review like that.

    Undine

Salty.. swampy... slightly musky...vetiver aquatic. It somehow seems a touch 'perfumy' which changes the aquatics for me. I am a huge fan of aquatics.. but i'm not quite sure what I think of this one yet. It is definitely not a traditional aquatic... which is what I expected from a blend meant to represent water.

    Hexennacht (2005, 2016)

Sweet, herbal, smokey, incensy... yet fruity in the imp, and on the skin. A deep, dark forest (but not too much pine, which is good for me IMO) with berries. The berries make this fun, a fruity musk scent. I really like Hex, it's very ..wiccan to me. It reminds me of the stories of sabbaths committed in the woods at night, to keep from prying eyes. It's dark, like rumor, but bright/sweet, like revelation.

    Gnome

Earth in a bottle. Gnome is a fabulous take on the scent of wet soil. It grows subtle and becomes ... romanticized ... that's the first word that comes to mind. I like gnome as far as earth scents go. It's fresh.

    Rose Red

Freshly cut roses.. and a hint of unknown perfumeyness. The brilliance of the scent though, the uncanny ability to catch that 'freshly cut rose' scent puts me in Awe of beth, once again. You can smell the dew still on it, that amplifies the freshness.. and the rose scent is just.. pure. No powderyness, no 'old woman'ness... Huzzah.

    Midnight Mass

I'm a Huge fan of Midnight Mass. Firstly, it smells like Church. There's this generic incense that churches have that just smells wonderful, but doesn't smell generic at all. I have tried looking for it all over... (Including Demeter's Holy Smoke spray). They came close... Midnight Mass hit it dead on. I suppose I should stock up on it right now before people catch on.

    Sugar Skull

Boozy, brownsuggary, slightly yeasty goodness. Sugar skull is totally edible and wonderful. It fills in the middle between Red Lantern and Devil's Night, in my opinion. I'm a fan!

    Parlement of Foules

Baby powder and roses.. that's pretty much it, in my opinion.

    Monster Bait: Underbed

Rum-soaked cinnamon buns is the perfect comment on this one, though the cassia scent makes it go a little.. synthetic, and the chocolate adds a little...confusion. There is the yeasty background of it though, that make me go back to the cinnamon buns comment. The yeasty smell adds to the synthetic side, and either you will love it because of, or inspite of that. Or, it will make you dislike it.

    Numb

I totally agree.. baby poweder, a hint of voilets... and .. a mintyness. It's a little harsh, but I suppose that suits the name. It went in a direction I don't really like wintery scents to go.. but I can imagine this would be very refreshing to wear in the summer.

    Jacob's Ladder

There is the golden, amberness that twinges a little.. sweet... but what Jacob's Ladder really reminds me of is beeswax candles. It smells sort of fresh like that... round and rich, but fresh. It reminds me like a subtler version of Bengal, both of which reminds me of candle smell.

    Smut

For me, when I first tried Smut I immediately thought of Snake Charmer. They have a lot in common. I'm not that sure about incensy smells though, I'm not sure exactly what they have in common, but there is a licrice and rootbeery ness that they both share. I like them, but since I have a bottle of Snake Charmer I think I can pass on the Smut Craze.

    Devil's Night

Bottle: woody, incensy, boozy, a little sweet vanilla It stays smokey and hearthy, but... the sweetness is really lush and wonderful. I like this, I am still trying to pick out the apple scents people have mentioned.
