    Weight loss/appetite control bpal recs?

Okay, so I went through my bottles and there were actually quite a few that gave me that recoil reaction but the strongest were definitely:Lyonesse Dia De Los Muertos Witch Dance (this was a reeeally strong one) Third Charm Dead Leaves, Tomato Leaf & Black Pepper Most of the snakes and Crowley gave me a mild recoil too. I was thinking abut getting Witch Dance! What is is about that one that makes you recoil?

    Peppermint Cream Cupcake

Wet: Peppermint isn't as strong as Lick it. It's not a sharp peppermint at all. I smell cake, white cake. Dry: I love foodie scents. I love them so much. But often cake one end up smelling like a candle on me. I like it, don't love it. We will see how it goes. Lots of these types smell best after an hour on me. I like that the peppermint is more subdued. I like a strong mint but this one smells more "edible". After 1 hour: peppermint is all gone. Now it's a candle. Vanilla cupcake candle. Damn. I never got any chocolate at all? Which is weird. Now all candle. No chocolate, no peppermint anymore. I love food scents but I'm really starting to think foody perfumes don't work on my skin. most cake scents go candle on me so quick. I mean like blown out candles. Ughhhh! I will edit this review after the oil has sat for a month if nothing has changed. Since it's straight from the package I'm wondering if it needs to mature some.

    Weight loss/appetite control bpal recs?

Lick it works because of the mint. And even though most foods scents make me hungry, I hate food with mint in it. I just ordered the peppermint chocolate cupcake Yule scent. I have a feeling that one will make me hungry. I have noticed that scents like snake oil also lower my appetite. I think because they are so strong?

    Lick It With Consent (2014)

In Bottle: Mmmm Candy Canes! Wet: Smells Minty and like candy without being to sweet. A little like a peppermint alcohol with a bit of vanilla sweetness Dry: This has turned into a more sophisticated vanilla. When wet it smelled like candy canes with vanilla, but now the mint is more subdued and the vanilla is not as foody as before. Normally I like overly sweet scents. But I am happy with the drydown! I feel like now that this is dry its a little more like grown up candy canes w/ vanilla! I went crazy this year for the Yules and ordered all the foody scents. Now after trying them... this is the winner for my Christmas scent! I love that it is a foody scent but its not like I smell like straight up food, I guess im growing up! Going to buy 2 more bottles!

    Black Lace, GC rec?

Of course I would fall in love with one of the LE that was only sold at one store... ugghhh! I'm always on the look out for more Black Lace.. The Vanilla one. But does anyone have any ideas of some GC BPAL scents that are similar? Even if they aren't GC it's fine, just wanting to try some similar scents! I love the vanilla and incense in Black Lace, I feel like it's a different vanilla than in the other oils. Here are the notes: The embodiment of Victorian funereal elegance. A delicate sugar-spun vanilla cream cotton, stained by tobacco and incense, Indian musk, and drops of cognac. Thanks!

    Black Lace, GC rec?

Thanks! I read those awhile ago and ordered imps of the GC ones. I feel like the main notes I like in black lace are the Cognac, incense and the Vanilla. Any scents with those notes together I'm positive I would love. I love cake and sweet bakery scents and normally go for those. But I love that black lace has a little bit of that without being too much. So any recs that don't have smell like Black Lace but are like a more mature bakery scent I would love to hear!

    Very Pink Surprise Cake

Very Pink Surprise cake In the bottle: This smells like this strawberry cake that comes in a mix.. Is smells exactly like it! Hope this smell lasts! Wet: I lost the cake and it now smells like plastic strawberries and candles... Like the burnt scent that happens after candles are blown out.. With a hint of strawberry in the back. I guess this is what a real Very Pink Surprise Cake smells like after you have eaten is and blown out the candles... I hope it changes back to what it smells like in the bottle! Dry: my skin is really picky with Strawberry. The blown out candles scent has faded to the back but it isn't as sickly sweet as it was in the bottle. As I'm writing this I've already sold my bottle. I was considering keeping it just to wear it in a locket but decided against it. I'm just PO it isn't working on my skin it has such great potential. I am so envious of the people who it does work on... grrr

    How full is full?

I know it's somewhere on the forum but I can't find it. I know there is a picture that someone made that shows a bottle and lines where each level is. Like a line where 30% full is and so on. Does anyone have it or know where it is?

    Gingerbread Poppet

Gingerbread poppet 2010 In the bottle: smells very spicy like straight gingerbread spices. But there is also a creaminess that smells like cream cheese frosting. To me is kind of smells like carrot cake/gingerbread with a nice heaping of cream cheese frosting. On that note I'm calling my mom to have her pick me up some carrot cake from our favorite bakery... Damn you food scents! Wet: I loose the cream cheese frosting and I'm sad about it. Right now all I smell is straight gingerbread spice without any sugar. I'm hoping it will get more sweet as it dries down. Because right now I smell like a spice candle. If it stays like this it's going to go up for swap or be used in an oil burner. I like the smell but not as a perfume. Where did the frosting gooooo Dry:It has a strong throw I'll give it that... I feel like this scent will only be used on Christmas.. ..Maybe or as an oil burner.. Or go up for swap/sale..

    Beachy, Tropical Scents

My friend is extremely masculine (shes a girl, but just masculine, and NO that's not an insult, just her gender identity), so maybe she would like Jolly Rodger. One of the reasons I love BPAL is because I hate the smell of Alcohol or whatever is put in most mainstream perfumes. They seem to all give me a headache. My friend is the same way. She loves the smell of Light Blue but hates the Alcohol-ness( or whatever is put in most designer perfumes) so she only wears it on special occasions when shes willing to put up with the headache to smell nice. So maybe I am going in the wrong direction with the beachy. Maybe more crisp without smelling like laundry or too floral. Im so bad as describing scents

    Beachy, Tropical Scents

Thanks everyone! The other smell I get from Light Blue is a crispness that I think comes from the green apple. You can necessarily identify the green apple scent in Light Blue but I think that's what gives it the crisp beach scent

    Beachy, Tropical Scents

Thanks I'm going to go read reviews on that one. Have you smelled Jolly Rodger? Some people say that smells beachy.

    Beachy, Tropical Scents

Hello! I also posted this question under the topic for BPAL that smells like Designer fragrances. But I'm not limited to an exact replica. My best friends favorite scent is Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana. She isn't very girly and enjoys the beach and if you have ever smelled Light Blue, it smells like an ocean breeze. I want to get her a BPAL scent of something that isn't too floral and is in the same scent category of Light Blue. Here are the notes included in Light Blue... but I am also not limited to just these scents, any BPAL that smells like the ocean wind would be great! Here is the basic info of Light Blue copy and pasted... I feel like the description of Light Blue is exactly what I'm looking in a BPAL scent.. Even if it doesn't smell like Light Blue... If that makes sense... Description: A stunning perfume, overwhelming and irresistible like the joy of living. The scent is surprisingly colored with the liveliness of Sicilian citron, the happiness of Granny Smith apple, and the spontaneity of bluebells. Feminine and resolute notes are expressed with the intensity of jasmine, the freshness of bamboo, and the charm of white rose. The deep and true base embodies the character of cedarwood, the fullness of amber, and the embrace of musk. Notes: Sicilian Citron, Bluebell, Granny Smith Apple, Jasmine Sambac, Bamboo, White Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, Musk.
