Lampades was ALL cranberry bubblegum to me... with a hint of powdery herbiness on drydown. Not something for me, but if you are a cranberry fan, give it a shot!

OH GOOD LAWDY MISS CLAAAWDY!! This is love juice!!! I put a smidge of this on and my dh went apesh*t!!! I WAS MAULED!!! SRLSLY!!! I am on the hunt for a GALLON!!! This works w/my skin chem. so well, it is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!! I applied in the morning and it was still lingering late at night and then into the next morning after wild lustiness (TMI, but - well - you know... all in the name of science) Sherezade is in my top 10 for sure... the scent is incredible and I really couldn't go into describing it... just the effect... yowza! Pure yum! 5/5!!!

I wanted to looooove this one... I really, really did. Sounded so good. Instant headache fuel. Powdered plastic Play-Doh. Not my friend.

In the imp: Ummmmmm ouch, you berries! Pretty, but - zingy to my nose!! Wet on skin: Still a little sharp... a little complex as far as single note picking... a little soapy... Dry: Soap... Sopayyyyy - soap - soap. Not the worst, but not something I'd like to smell like all the time. 2/5

Jack is soooooooo yammer-yammers! In the imp: Sweet, buttery, pumpkin loooooooove... Wet on skin: Same as above - but with peachy POW!! Drydown: Waaaaaarm, soft, spiced pumpkin - barely there and part of my skin almost... too good to be true 5/5

Hmmmm... really manly soap on girl skin - which isn't the worst thing ever... just iffy if you aren't in the mood for it. A little boozy, a little salty... kinda floral... but the combo is tres masculine on me. 2/5

Drydown: Yup... molasses! Caramelized sugar... yumminess all around! Don't think I'll need a buttload of this stuff... an imp should keep me fixed for a while. For sure a comfort scent! From pure almonds to baby powder in 60 seconds It flipped back to yum for a few seconds at about the 5min. mark, but the powder came back STRONG... I so wanted to adore this, but it just wasn't meant to be. Massive throw and staying power, though, for those it works for 2/5

I cannot get enough of this scent... seeeeeeeeriously! I'm with the camp that loves Samhain, but wants to have Samhainophobia's babies A brisk breeze, damp streets, soggy Autumnal leaves stuck to your stompy boots... hurrying home from a spooky movie all by yourself at night! Past the graveyard, even!! Oh sexy erl, just jump in my panties already!!! Whooooooohoooooooo!!! I just need a bucketful. Honestly. 5/5

SOFT SOFT SOFT Lush and CREAMY... This is a staple scent... fo shizzle... OMG... everyone in the casa loves it - esp. the DD. ItB: Almost fruity D.B. resinous yummy edible sniffery swirling in a pool of cream and drizzled with honey (I swear, you can vizualize it dripping from one of those wooden spoolies) Wet on skin: The same, but playing with a bit of skin... the cream becomes sweet warm cream in a little pan on the stove... Drydown: More of the same, with some powdery-ness (not baby powder)... like, powdered incense... the overall effect is just killer! Don't deprive yourself... try this at least once - and go from wet to at least 5 hours... It is so worth it!

Plummy sexy Witch Queen... what a delight you are! Imp sniff: Spanked my nose! WOW! Sharp-azz plum and floral/incense smellies... oooch! Wet on skin: Okay... play nice, now. Thassss better... Hmmm... Yum? Yes! YUM! Incense is bumping up a notch and plum is becoming a full-bodied lush fruit... oh, rapture! Drydown: Wow... makes me want to cuddle in a blanket (lots of BPALz makes me wants to do that... mmmmpfh). Almost womanly, but just yum enough to play cozy. Very sexy and soft. Again - very lush sniffery... ahhhhhhhhhh.

Oh, baby... this is a lover Cardamom does rillah, rillah purty things w/my skin - so I was more than happy to take this one for a test drive! Nutmeg, throw that in and you can't really go wrong unless you add cat pee to the mix. Yay! No peepee! This is just soooooo nice and warm... smooth, dusky incense w/a smidge of smokey florals playing in the mix... Oh Mama-Ji, will you rock me to sleep? Tell me a story...

Am I the only one getting Sudha Segara's sassy sister here? Wet to drydown for me, Hermia is ALL Sudha w/pink pepper and cheeky fruit!! OMG... AWESOME!!! I wish it went with my day to day attitude a little more (I'm 6ft. tall, covered w/tattoos, and a Scorpio/Scorpio) It would be in for heavier rotation!

2006 VERSION Once again... te amo las botellas brujas, meija! Apple cider sugary yumminess... patchouli (don't worry, non-patch fiends... it's not stank... I've confirmed it with a patch-hater), leaves... those good, crunch under your stompy boots colorful Autumn leaves! Puts me in mind of ye ol' D.R. days (when I was a wee implet in Los Angeles)... going to punk/DR shows, then staying out all night in the cemetery looking for celebrity graves w/friends, chain-smoking cloves, jumping fences... too much makeup, and my larger-than-life mohawk that landed me on a "Welcome to Los Angeles" postcard... This one is pure nostalgia in a bottle!! I love it so! 5/5 all the way around.

Drydown: This baby has throw like a Judo mastaaahhhh! Ooof! When it mellows out a little, it's like a smokey, shugahpie incense that makes you smack your lips everytime you catch a whiff... And it plays soooooooo nice with my skin's scent. After a while, it's like "me", but "I just naturally smell like you want to ravage me and bite chunks out of my flesh!" 5/5... I think the DH wants me to dump the whole bottle in my lingerie drawer

2005 Version: SWEET MAMAJAMAS... Oh boy... this is soooooooo shugahboogah sweetness richness yummy good schtuff! I luckily got a bottle this year ('07) of prime, aged to perfection '05 DdlM MAGIC... grabbin' my bottle - here's the breakdown: Oh, you putty, putty label... cute lil' farker! And that text... as someone who regularly dicks around in graphic design, I loves me some funky Western fonts, heh heh! Grand choice! ItB: GLORIOUS, blooming, golden yellow/orange flowers... TOBACCO, BABY... lossalossatobakky! And some kinda ripe, candied fruit smell... but I don't know what the heck the fruit is... my nose says apples... but the tobacco could be teasing me and making me lie. Wet on der skin: More of the same... but SMOOOOKAYYYYY... and RICH... verah, verrrrrah RICH! Drydown: Uh-huh, more of the same.... a little bump in the sweetness, a little mellow-out on the tartness of the fruity feel... and a nice lingering smokey wafting of tobacco/foody/floral that is juuuuussst right. C'est si bon... umph! 5/5, fo sho... staying power is swell, throw is superb... and random peeps will stalk you for sniffs (and therefore, you can play BPAL evangelist, which is always fun... Go tell it on the mountain, anyone?)

Cocoa and spooky myrrh/sandalwood mix... like a haunted Coco-Puff!! I put it on at bedtime last night... definitely a good sleepy-time comfort scent. I loves it!!

The magic is not here. Wet: It's just around the bend... we're still in chemical land. Drydown: EUREKA!!! Mother of monkeys... THAR'S THE TICKET!! "Mommy, why is the spooky lady smelling her arms like that and rolling her eyes up in her head? I'm scared!" "Son, quit looking at her... she might come over here... " -AKA- the BPAL effect. ------------------------ I cannot believe the "It's my skin and something INSANELY sexy" blend of vanilla, leather, opium, sandalwood, amber... it's like exuding a vapor of barely-there incense... my DH kept asking "What IS that??" - and I kept telling him - and an hour later, he'd sniff and ask again So he's hooked on me wearing it! Totally going to be needing a backup bottle and wearing OFTEN. And SO glad this is a GC!! A shining 5/5!!
