I hope your procedure goes well tomorrow, and that you recover quickly. Its no fun. Having had a kid I can testify that dilation doesn't feel good.

In the vial I thought this was some floral (I'm not very familiar with violets) tamarind and spices. Close but no cigar, I thought it had tamarind in it because of that tart/sweet note. On it was a nice spicy floral. I agree it seemed to gain strength with time instead of mellow out. I only swiped the tester stick along both wrists and rubbed and I had to go over my wrists with a wet washcloth before my son's playgroup because I didn't want to blast anyone with my perfume. I liked it, but next time I will use more restraint when applying since I now know it will get stronger over time.

This is my first experience with Dragon's Blood scents, and I am very favorably impressed. This was a beautiful warm floral scent. Its not an in your face floral or an over the top "hey everyone I'm wearing Perfume!" floral. Its warm, smooth and happens to be floral at its core. I am assuming the Dragon's Blood is what makes it so warm and smooth, I am used to musks or sandalwood providing that sort of note, but the Dragon's Blood does it equally well and adds its own distinct twist. I will say when this was in the vial I thought it was an innocuous light floral, when I applied it I was blasted with the scent but after about 10 minutes it dried down to a delicious scent. I like this and I look forward to trying more imps with Dragon's Blood in them.

I have to agree, this is a lovely spicy warm musky scent. I am in love, its a smooth sensual musk with the lovely exotic spices that are similar to those in snake oil. This is pure bliss, and how I like to smell and conjuring up the mental image that I would like to project to the world, even though its night and day away from the me that most people see. This is going into heavy rotation, its really really nice.

This is truly amazing, a bottled lightening storm! It has the electrified air smell that happens during one of those intense southern lightening and thunder storms. It even causes my chest to tighten which is the same physical reaction I have to those storms. While I appreciate and am astounded by the amazing evocative qualities of this scent, lightening storms always make me a little tense, therefore I won't be able to wear this often. I am passing this along to my hubby as I am willing to bet it will be wonderful on him, and he does not have the same tense reaction to a weather storm as I do.

In the imp's ear I would have sworn that this had pine or cedar or some other woody scent to it, of course it doesn't so I have no idea why I get that. But it was a strong earthy woody wet scent to me. Dry its a whole different beast. It turns into an incensy orangy floral which is anchored by a warm woody scent. I really can't pull out the individual elements other than the orange blossom and I suppose the patchouli is the incensy warmth, but this is really nice, very different and sophisticated. I like it a lot.

This one reminded me of Bacchanalia in that it also is a thick musky fragrance. Initially, oddly enough, it reminded me of a really robust round white wine in that it was strong with a floral scent and that thick musky-ness like Bacchanalia but without the purple grapyness of that scent. It dried down and stayed quite strong in that I would catch whiffs of myself from my wrists without even trying. I completely agree that this is a very sexual scent. I assume its that musky civet. I kinda like this although its not an everyday scent for me, it is nice to wear when I know I can spend some one on one time with my hubby.

Wet, I swear I smelled carnation, the spicy/floral carnation not the powdery one. I have no idea where I get it from since there is no carnation in this blend. Dry, its a lovely light and bright white-floral. The sandalwood adds depth to the bright florals. This is very nice and I will undoubtedly be wearing this more as the weather gets hotter.

This is gorgeous and unusual. Its a sparkling fresh green scent. I ordered it because sage is my favorite herb when cooking, and oddly enough, I don't smell particularly of sage. I definately detected sage when I opened the vial, but on it mellows and morphs into an herby green fresh scent. It is perfect for a sunny cool spring day!

What else it there to say? Its chocolate -- milk chocolate to my nose. A very true chocolate scent, and although I love and cannot live without chocolate, I do not like foody-bakery-sweet scents. If you do, I believe you would love this.

I must be in the minority for not immediately falling in love with this. For me, wet it smelled like berry sweet-tarts with a touch of floral, when I first applied it smelt strongly of sweet-tart tangy berries with florals wafting around the edges. Dry it loses the berries and the tart tangy scents and becomes a soft sandalwood-floral. I like the dry-down quite a bit although I am very partial to anything with sandalwood in it. I am not too sure about the stages before dry-down and I will have to sample this again before I make up my mind.

I know its not particularly helpful or evocative but the words that come to mind with this scent truly are warm, slightly sweet, and spicy. Not hot pepper spicy but more like many spices grouped together. Its as if you were standing in an Egyptian souk between a cafe serving sweet tea and baklava and a spice vendors stall. I believe this may be a perfect scent -- I adore it and I intend to reapply before bed tonight.

Hmm, me too! I'm in the Atlanta area, but I'd be more than happy to tie or label or do any other drudge work to help ease your load. Let me know if I can help! Also, my mom's in Newport Beach, I could probably get her to help you if you need/want it. She just moved there and doesn't know many people or have any hobbies going on right now.

Elizabeth- I have to agree don't make yourself sick with stress, we will all survive. Sure people get antsy when their order doesn't arrive, but no one is going to fall apart because of it. I strongly suggest that the USPS is still just jacked up with mail and at least state-side, I am betting they just take a long time. I personally will not be concerned until at least 3 weeks have gone by. I have no idea why they take so long, but getting mail from my mom in CA to GA still is taking at least a week, and it should only be a few days, I expect packages take longer. Its a hassle, but don't stress too much, we love your oils and no one is going to love them any less because the packages are taking a while. I for one already have my next 4 orders planned out. We love you and we love your oils. Erin in Georgia -

I found Faustus to be a spicy warm slightly powdery scent. Mostly I smell a dry incensy scent (frankinscense I assume) warmed by cinnamon, the violets lurk around the edges softening the scent and keeping it from being too austere. I like this a lot and I don't find it to be too masculine at all. However, I have also been known to wear men's cologne from time to time since they are usually spicy and warm and less floral than many women's scents. I like this a lot, I will definately be using up my imp's ear and may even buy a bottle.

To me this is a slightly sweet heather. Beth provides the perfect name and description for this! Based on sniffing my wrist alone, you can just envision a bunch of heather blooming near some craggy hills in Scotland. I like this a lot, its a really nice casual Sunday relaxed fragrance perfect for lounging around, reading the paper and of course smelling really really nice.
