I know why I never tried this before: vetiver. But this is one of the rare blends where the vetiver is resinous and not to overwhelming. It adds a dark, slightly dirty (but in a nice way) note to this masculine blend. Not for me, but surprisingly nice.

Overwhelming at first, but as it settles it becomes a powerful but not too aggressive masculine scent. Sexy!

At first it smells overwhelming, the jasmine sours, and it's (literally, with the cinnamon) a hot mess. But dry it's a spicy, sweet floral. Really nice!

Bye bye sandalwood, hello leather SN. Not for me, but it's an interesting blend.
-
Beer scents don't tend to do well on me, but this one is nicely blended with grasses and daffodil, so it's a light, lovely, slightly resinous scent. Very mellow, and a little sweet.

My BPAL stash spontaneously generated this one, or I was frimped it. One of the two! Wet: Honeyed white floral. Not out of the ordinary, but nice. Dry: Honey scents don't always work on me, but this one is really nicely balanced between the sweet warmth of honey and the cool white florals. Really light and pretty.

Starts our bright and sharp, and ends with something bitter-smelling (neroli?). Not for me.

It keeps morphing between hideous, desperately floral stench, and lovely, centered jasmine seductive scent. And then it finally dries down, and it's quite accomplished and lovely.

Wet, it's just painfully sharp. I couldn't wait for it to dry because it was so unpleasant, so I wiped as much off as possible, and what's left is a warm, slightly bracing cinnamon, with a hint of resinous incense smoke. Really nice once it's dry, but a little goes a long way.

Lilac usually goes funeral parlor on me, but the spicy, resinous quality of this matches the floral so nicely that it's just so lovely. Warm, sweet, and a little sensual.

An intense, almost jarring scent...that somehow works beautifully. Fierce, bracing, but still kind of sexy and passionate. And there's something aquatic about it that reminds me of vacation . Not something I would wear often, but I like it!

Really light and pretty. But very little throw or staying power on me...just a little too gossamer.

This is my go-to nap scent--I love the rose, but to me it's not overpowering. It's rose, but also with a dry, crisp herbal bouquet smell to me. I love spraying this on my pillow and going to sleep. It makes me feel like I'm on an outdoor veranda somewhere, dreaming as softly scented breezes blow floral hints my way. I love this!

One of my favorites, a very sweet, light floral with that dandelion note that's so wonderful in perfume oils like One to Tie Two To Win, Dandelion SN, etc. It's a light scent with an irresistible sweetness to it, and a hint of crushed stems that just makes it smell so true to the idea of what it should be. So, so lovely.

This is one of my favorite Atmos of all time, and I like a lot of them, so I don't say that lightly. I love fizzy, bubbly champagne scents, so I had to try this one. I tried this against Gertrude Dix to see how they were different, and was instantly in love with this one. It smells like the Atmo version of the "Champagne &" scents, and the carnation in it just deepens and enhances the champagne-i-ness. This is much more of a true champagne scent than Gertrude Dix and oddly enough, much more gender neutral. Mmm. I wish this was its own GC oil...and bath oil...and HG. It's just such an amazing scent.

I love champagne scents so much, and after trying Tammany recently, had to test them sniff to sniff to really see how different or alike they are. And the verdict was that this smelled very fizzy and light to me, like a fruity, floral champagne. Very light, very sweet and feminine, and not nearly as "champagne-y" as I had remembered it being. Tammany is more of a true "alcohol" scent to me, and the masculine counterpart to Miss Gertrude. Ultimately, I think I liked Tammany a bit better (LE, sigh), but Gertrude Dix is a winner in her own right. Sweet and bubbly and a definite mood-lifter.

This is the perfect hotel scent! It smells like an expensive hotel lobby or office at first, with leather chairs and gleaming wood, but with a hint of sweet floral (the rose water?) and sexy cologne (the bay rum!), their slight wildness cultivated ever so slightly by the demure, neutral tea. It just smells very dignified, established, discreet, but also with a hint of adventure and sexiness. This is one of the more masculine Atmos I've smelled, but it's not overpowering at all. And as a side note, a bit of it leaked in transit so the bottle is currently airing out in my home office, and it just grows on you--I got a bit on my fingers when I unwrapped it, and on my skin (which I know is Not How This Works), but it's awesome! It reminds me a bit of Wanda, but with rose instead of violet, and where Wanda always seems purple to me (if smells had colors), Hotel De Wood is a deep, rich burgundy red.

I was a little worried when my BPAL priority mailer smelled like this amazing autumn rose garden, but nothing had spilled. It just has a throw like you wouldn't believe! The rose is more of a dry desert rose which works well with the dry leaves, the rose's warmth matching the coolness of autumn so nicely. So lovely!

Dry, crunchy leaves with a hint of sweetness. And a suggestion of smokiness. The perfect autumn scent!

I love Jailbait and I love rose scents, so I knew I had to try this one. It's exactly what you think it would be--pink, sugary bubblegum and perfumed roses (not the green, fresh rose of Rose Red, but more of a candied rose). Such a fun scent, it just makes me smile . And a lot more wearable than I thought it would be. Love it!

Lumps of pumpkin fudge, marshmallow glop, cookie crumbs, caramel smears, and bits of sticky fuzz. I have a certain trepidation when anticipating pumpkin scents: will they be light, and smell like fresh pumpkin? Sweet, and smell like something baking for fall? Heavy and rich, like a pumpkin exploding violently in my nose (Jack. Ugh, not good). But this is lovely...it's gooey, sweet pumpkin pudding, with rich caramel accents. I'm not smelling the other individual notes, but they work really well together to form a sweet, satisfying dessert scent. It's heavier than I was expecting, but not too heavy. Just substantial. I think this will be my favorite kitchen scent this season!

TKO-lite...very little throw, and it's soft and sweet but it doesn't have the oomph of the released version.

Coffee cake! Yum! Caramel-sugared nuttiness, almost cinnamon-y but not quite. Delicious!
-
limey-martini, but not sharply lime or strongly martini. Nice, understated, dry and slightly effervescent.

Smooth and cold without being too much so. This is definitely the Queen! Wow, I hope this gets released for a future Yule because now I know what I'm missing.
