It's a light floral, the sandalwood powders out, and it fades quickly. It has no throw to speak of, but it smells a bit sweet and a bit tangy. I think it was nice, but I could barely smell it.

I think this might be an aged imp (it looks kinda faded), but it smells a little like suntan lotion and myrrh. I can't smell a single floral. It's okay...
-
It has cinnamon, and is starting to make my skin tingle a bit. Not that I can smell the cinnamon! This doesn't happen with many blends, but I guess Chuparosa is special. I really want to keep typing Chupa Chups . It smells like light floral notes with something tangy. It's okay, but not really me.

Umbra in the imp is a crackling, fiery cologne, but on I smell like I haven't had a shower in a week, and have been in an alley getting drunk, and am starting to sweat moonshine from my pores. Not good.
-
It starts out as a soapy floral (I like those well enough), with just a cool mint breeze running through it. The longer it stays on, the more minty it becomes. This would make a great shower gel .

Tea, that fake lemon flavoring in Diet Coke, and a spicy earthiness. I really like it except for the fake lemon .

This smells like Bed of Nails to me, like an aquatic men's aftershave. And for some reason, I just have this image of a cartoon Cthulu getting ready for a date, putting on aftershave that smells like this and listening to Isaac Hayes...dancing in front of the mirror, to "We got it together, baby". It's fresh, it's sexy, it's men's aftershave! I like it, although I probably won't be getting a bottle until I run out of Bed of Nails.

I normally like pine, but at first in this blend it combines with the dirt to smell a bit like pine air freshener covering body odor. And then it morphs into...it's almost a holly-pine scent, with a hint of berry? I have to be imagining that, right? It's okay, it's just not what I was expecting. ETA: Nope, that's berry. It smells like a lighter version of Yuletide after about 15 minutes, which I like, but I like Yuletide better.

I love the smell in the bottle/imp, but once it hits my skin it's all dryer sheets and sickeningly sweet faux florals. Sigh.

In the bottle, it smells like flowers and mint. On/drying it smells a bit like flowers on one sniff, tea the next, mint the next, berries the next...it's so complex you can't smell everything in one sniff, and it keeps changing and growing more and more lovely. Mostly it smells like flowers, a bit of herbal cologne, and a wisp of cooling mint. It's really extraordinary. ETA: 30 minutes later, it's hot tea from a Chinese restaurant...and red, ripe fruit. LOVE.

CCNow will combine orders if you have items in your cart from one place when you place the order at the other. I think this is an error, and if you place the order with both types of items in it the lab will just cancel the order.

Sexy, Smutty, Seductive, Provocative... It's All in Here

One of the Excolo Conjure bag blends might be good, especially if the notes appeal to you. And be sure to test them out before the, er, encounter. What is supposed to be a hot, sexy blend (ex. Fire of Love) may turn bad with skin chemistry (ex., on me FoL was dead zombie hippies. REALLY not hot). -
Cheap air freshener. I thought, "What IS that floral that has turned so repulsive and cloying on me? Violet?" Yup, sometimes it loves me, sometimes it loves me not.

Chocolate, cologne, and pencil shavings? Not bad, but the chocolate is drowned out by the wood note (I don't THINK it's sandalwood). It dries to kind of a chocolate powder scent...okay, but definitely lackluster. Sigh.

Litterboxes and baby powder. Not two great things that go together, not at all.

This is a nice, well-rounded floral. It doesn't really do anything for me, the earth does not move, lightning's not striking again ("and again and again and again!"), but it's okay. And as I say that, it seems to be turning into a fabric softener sheets smell. Sigh.
-
At first the florals are all over the place, but as it settles it becomes really lovely...apple rose LOVE. There's a cidery-vinegar whisper to it that keeps it from just being sweet. Hmmmm. It fades too quickly though.
-
Very pretty, but it's so light. I think I smell orchids. I think I like it, but my skin pretty much just absorbs it immediately. Sigh.

I was looking back at old reviews to see if anyone else had gotten the notes that I did, and I feel like paperrose sums it up so well: "It's discontinued and the name makes me think of a STD. I'm mostly relieved that I can live without it." Yes, exactly. On me it starts out as smelling like a floral bouquet with the bad jasmine leading the charge, and a shot of lemon? It's too sweet and too sour at the same time. And as it dries more of the wood comes out, and it smells like I'm trying to wear a cheap perfume to cover up body odor. And I'm totally not! It dries further, and smells like jasmine rose powder lemon. It's better, but still not something I would love and choose to wear on a regular basis.

Peach floral cologne tempered by something hard. It's lovely and sweet without being too sweet...I think it's the vetiver. Sometimes vetiver goes on an ego trip and takes over the blend, but it's perfectly in harmony here.

This smells like smoky tobacco, then wood, and then...a palest hint of rose. I smell like a pipe-smoking Grandma. As far as the theme, I think it is captured well here. But as far as a scent I would wear, not really. I don't like smelling like an ashtray, no matter how interesting that wood note is, no matter how sweet that rose.
-
The cherry does what it almost always does and goes to powder. So, this smells like powder and sweetness...sigh. Sorry, Oya.

Green tea with somewhat chemically smelling lemon flavoring. And wow, I can't pick out the jasmine at all. I didn't think that was possible with my skin chemistry! I think this would be a much better room scent for me...I love the smell, I'm just not crazy about what my skin chemistry does to that lemon.

The dragon's blood resin is the first thing I notice...it and the bayberry are creating a warm spiciness that is sooo warm and comforting. It smells aquatic to me at first, but definitely turns earthy as it dries. Woodsy-spicy dragon's blood...very nice, and a second cousin to the Ars Draconis scents.

Strangely enough, the first whiff from the imp smelled like the condo of a friend of mine. And she recently went to Venice, and absolutely loved it! Maybe it's a pheromone thing. As soon as it hits my skin, the jasmine that hates me starts in. But as it dries, the jasmine fades, and it's a much more balanced floral. It smells very juicy and fruit-like to me, like a ripe plum. Luscious, purple, and so sweet.
