I remember trying this years ago, and it smelled like a sweet, tangy rose. Now, it's straight cognac with a the barest whiff of rose. Not bad, but if you wear this while driving you WILL get pulled over. ETA: Because it will make you drunk while you wear it! It's that strong. Also, possibly because the cops will be able to smell it through the car .

It smells like vanilla angel food cake, linen, and a bit of perfume. It's light, but perfect--a little sweet, but not too sweet. I don't usually like scents this light, but this is such a great blend!

Sour rose? Yuck. It smells like Rose Red was buried years ago and has begun to rot. The rose calms down a bit, but it still smells like the wrong kind of rose to my nose. Oh well!
-
A negatively charged scent. Ambergris, Spanish Moss, oakmoss and three electric mints. I can't fully describe why, but this scent smells like college to me. The mint is present but not overpowering, and the earthy-ozone quality of the notes just balance it beautifully.
-
It smells like musk with a hint of...grape? I can't smell the rose at all in this. Which is strange, because my skin usually amps rose if at all possible. Hmmm. Pretty, clean smelling, but very light.

There's something almost jasmine-like at first, but Medea soon blends into this lovely, balanced floral...good throw, good wear length. So nice!

The civet smells disgusting in the imp, but on (aren't I brave?), the scent mellows nicely. A touch of opium with a nice musk behind it. Something's a bit powdery, too...probably the civet, because I'm certainly not smelling it now. It's okay.

This smells like pepper SN on me...I can't smell anything else. At all. And I think it's making me hungry...
-
I'm not sure where the Dragon's Blood went, or how I'm smelling this on my skin...but it smells like cherry. Wow, I didn't know cherry COULD stay on my skin. Cherry flowers.
-
Did you play with Strawberry Shortcake dolls as a child? This smells like a cross between "Apple Dumpling" and "Lemon Meringue"...and I loved those dolls, you'd think I'd love this, too. But it just smells off somehow...like one of the dolls went "bad". It's interesting, but not me.

It almost smells like vanilla and woods to me, with an invigorating menthol note to it. It's very light and unassuming to me, but very different. Lovely!
-
A non-tropical Upa Upa (did I try these two backwards, or what?). I thought the butteriness was going to be gross, but instead it softens the rum a bit. This isn't something I'd wear all the time, but I like it!

This smells like fermented fruit wet, and a lighter version of fermented fruit as it dries. Maybe that's the honey wine? It's very sweet, but the fermented aspected adds a dirty, sourness that sounds unappealing but actually adds a good balance. I can sense a bit of that mysterious rose underneath. Hmmm, I think I like this.

I'm just getting musk with a hint of pepper and mandarin...no flowers at all. It's not bad, it's just kind of neutral on my skin. It loses its complexity.

Hello, cat pee! That must be the melati, because none of the other notes have ever, EVER done that to my skin. Yuck. It kind of fades into dragon's blood and...cedar shavings? Ew. This blend is really bad on me. Not as bad as the Vetiver Hell series, but unpleasant all the same. Ugh.

This smells like the BPAL equivalent of the Fantasy Bath scent Neptune to me! Ooh, I LOVE it. It's clean, herbal, and unisex to me. It fades all too soon though.
-
There's an astringent, herbal quality to this...is that the heather? Paired with the berry, it smells like a very clean, unisex toner-type scent. Ooh, there's something completely sexy about this...there's an almost smoky note popping up as well. Mmmm. I smell so hot right now!

A light, creamy floral, with something that smells faintly like tea. This smells like hope .
-
It's mostly almond, so of course all I can smell is powder and a light, musky spiciness on my skin. It's too light without the almond...but in the imp, it was nice. I might use this as a room scent.
-
This WILL clean out your sinuses! Hot tea from a Chinese restaurant mixed with hot spices...but it really smells like hot tea leaves as well, not just the tea. I think I really like this, although I'm not sure I would wear it often.
-
In the imp I thought "This is WAY too sweet." But on it dries to a lovely, balanced lavender floral blend. The ylang ylang is a little tangy, and it almost smells like there's a bit of honeysuckle in this. It's quite lovely.
-
The apricot in this is so strong that I sniffed up close and it was like a blast of fruitiness aimed at my nose. But as it dries, it mellows to a dried apricot scent with an undercurrent of spices. Nice!

Moody, moping violet. That's it...there were other notes in the imp, but violet seems to have eaten them all. Maybe she's moping because of a stomachache. Too bad I'm not crazy about violet.

pencil shavings, pencil rubber...all that's missing is graphite dust, and this could be "first day of school". Sigh. I smell a little patchouli...maybe this is "hippie school".

Vanilla jasmine. It seems to get better the longer it dries--it's the jasmine that likes me--but it's not my favorite combination. It's a must for jasmine lovers though!
