This is so sexy and intense in the bottle. Unisex bordering on masculine. I expected it to smell like other lime-rum blends, but it's much richer. On me though...it dries to an incense smell. Evidently my skin absorbs almost everything! I'll have to try it again later.

This is incredibly sweet on me. It smells like sugary rose syrup...green syrup, what "Latka Gravas" used to drink on Taxi. The sweetness is tempered a bit by the green herbalness and a bit of the absinthe, but this still maxes out the Glycemic Index. I like it, but the sweetness is almost radioactively strong.

Scent-only review until I try the soap. This is lovely, but definitely my least favorite so far of the 3 I tried (L'Autunno and L'Estate were the others). It smells like a creamy musk, with a hint of woods and herbs (a subdued eucalyptus?). It's nice, but not quite as me as the other two. We'll see after I've tried it though .

Scent review only at this time, until I've tried it. Just sniffing, it smells so much like Nina Ricci's L'Air du Temp. This is probably one of my favorite perfumes of all time as it was my Mom's when I was growing up, as well as my Grandmother's and my Aunt's. L'Estate is a bit warmer though, a bit softer. It's a lovely floral, and I will be so excited if I get to smell the perfume version of this as well.

I was able to get a piece thanks to copyshopclerk . It smells very almond-earthy to me, and it's a little bit sweet (the honey?), but mostly it's just a gentle, comforting, vaguely spiced baking smell (not foody so much as atmospheric). And I have to say I am totally digging the texture of the soap! I broke off a smaller piece, and it was like breaking fudge or something...it wasn't soft, but it wasn't hard and brittle-feeling. It had a nice lather, and was very moisturizing. And although the scent at first smelled like aftershave on my skin (HOW, I don't know ), it's mellowed into this lovely almond-honey, skin-hugging smell. Very unisex, very soothing. I can't WAIT until this Inquisition now...

In the imp, it's a light, resinous floral. On, it turns to incense and baby powder. I'd love to have an evocative memory or visualization about this one, but...baby powder and incense. It's pretty, it's nice, but it's definitely not one for me.

I think I'm not a coffee person, but then I smell this blend. It's like nothing else I've smelled (or seen...is that actual ground coffee fragments I'm seeing in the imp?). The other coffee scents (Misk U, etc.) are lovely, but they're more like sugary cappuchino. THIS is straight-up, freshly ground, black gold, essence of caffeine. Rich, with just a slightly bitter finish. Amazing! I can see why these SNs are so sought after!

Honey Moon contains five different honeys, ranging from pale and sweet to deep and heady, with hints of jasmine, white gardenia, Hawaiian white ginger and thyme. Sometimes BPAL's honey note(s) smell fermented on me, or like they were added to sparkling water (not good). This is NOT the case with Honey Moon. In the imp AND on, it's like golden, sweet honey squeezed from a little bear's head. I can barely detect the florals, but it blends so well it's like the honey came from a lovely wild garden. This blend is perfect!

I can't believe I've never reviewed this! White Light is amazing. It's a bit like the BPAL Water of Notre Dame. Smell-wise, it's very a very clean, light floral. It smells like clean laundry, if you'd bathed your laundry in a holy, peaceful, calming light. On...it's incredibly soothing. For minor anxieties, it's a miracle worker. It's like little worries are washed away. For major stresses it doesn't eliminate the fears and bad feelings entirely, but it makes it easier for me to talk myself through them, and easier to see what else I need to feel better (i.e. getting more sleep, needing a hug, etc.). I tend to self-comfort in mildly destructive ways (junk food, staying up too late, time-wasting...all of which increase anxiety in the longterm), so it's nice to have something comforting in a positive way that helps keep me focused on positive self-comfort. If you get one TAL, this is the one to get.

Musky cinnamon, tempered by resins and those lovely lunar oils. This is such a sultry scent, and while it doesn't have a lot of throw on me, it's an excellent skin-scent.

This smells like incense to me, sage-based, like a bundle of incense. It smells very clean underneath.

If only real fruitcake smelled this good! At our house, fruitcake always ended up getting eaten sometime in January, when my Mom and dog would sit down to eat it . I am not a fan. But this oil, it's amazing! I'm mainly getting spiced cake, soaked in a bit of something alcoholic. Is that a bit of mint? And underneath I'm smelling...those bizarre unrecognizable, processed fruits that fruitcake is made with! How does the Lab do it? Really nice, and I would probably have to get a bottle if it was ever released.

I can't believe I've never reviewed this! This was the first (and well, most ardently desired) rare I had to try. In the meta-card symbology, the Q of Spades is the significator for people born on January 2nd, and as that's my birthday, I had to try it. Queen of Spades is just gorgeous, and is such a morpher. At times it's this intense, rich cologne, and then other times it's woody, deep, and resinous. And just when you think it's strong and domineering, you smell the sweet plummy berry notes. I only have a small tester sniffie, but I love it well .

At first this is THE most sublime coconut mint...smooth, sweet, creamy, with just a little bite. And then as it dries, something else comes out...it's like rum, but much less pleasant smelling. Rummy plastic? Lovely, lovely in the imp though. Mmmm.

At first I get a sharp hint of something that vetiver-like. But thankfully that disappears , and it's a very soft cinnamon with that sharp vetiver-like note accompanying it. It's interesting and I'm glad I tried it, but it's just okay.

Still waiting on mine from the 18th, and I ordered through PayPal, too. Sometimes they have to mix up a batch of something, so people who ordered later and did not order that item get their orders first. No worries .

Powerful, commanding, blazing with strength. This blend is colored a lovely empurpled red. The dragon's blood in this isn't nearly as strong as I was hoping considering the name. Sigh. And it turns to a syrupy sweetness on my skin, with just a hint of the dragon's blood bite. Well, at least I still have The Bloody Sword for my dragon's blood needs, but...I'm always hoping to find the perfect GC equivalent.

This starts out as a gorgeous wine scent with a hint of flowers, and...it fades so quickly. Like it's been watered down. Most disappointing.

A gambler’s perfume, used specifically for craps and other dicing games. I was so hoping not to be the only person to review this, as I am just a lucky sniffer who came in possession of this imp and not a gambler, but...here goes. It smells like a very potent blend indeed. I can't pick out any individual notes, but it smells like quintessential bad boy cologne. It does! It smells like...risk-taking, debauchery, and nerves of steel. It smells like 5 o'clock shadow and a rakish grin. It smells SO VERY NICE, but as this is a magickal/ritual blend, I will avoid slathering it on my husband. This will (eventually) be put in the swap pile, unless some sort of gambling opportunity comes up in the next couple of weeks or so. Hey, it's Mercury Retrograde...who knows?

This smells like grape, berries, and...wood? Strangely beautiful, alluring even. Not remotely like a sunset though, unless you're watching it from under a grape arbor . I wish I'd smelled this before it was discontinued, so I could have gotten a bottle...

This is gorgeous in the bottle, sweet and bracing all at once. But on, somehow the citrus and sage combine to form cat pee on my skin. Not good.
-
A-ha! It's lilac that amps on my skin and ends up making me smell like a fussy old lady! I had often suspected, but never confirmed this. In the imp it's a beautifully maudlin floral, introspective and lovely. And on me, it's "Hyacinth Bucket" ("Boo-kay!") from Keeping Up Appearances.
-
This smells like sparking grapefruit tea to me...with a hint of the rich currant and the herbal lavender. I'll have to get a bottle of this sometime...this would be a lovely scent for summer.
-
No cherry of course because of my skin chemistry (cherry turns to powder on me). But the rose lavender, and the rosewood...it smells very grounded and earthy. Very rich and red without being too fiery.

This smells like cheap baby lotion on me--not the good kind that actually smells like baby powder or lavender, but the kind that just smells like sickly sweet florals. Not good on me.
