Emu Nymph

A strange, disconcerting embrace… to some, alarming, and to some, intimately familiar: fig, pomegranate and cocoa bean with lemon, bergamot, vanilla, mellow honey musk, calamus and tonka. In the bottle and first on my skin I get a very strong cocobean scent. Enough to make me sneeze. But as it drys it's a lemon-y vanilla scent. It's a rather odd scent. I'll have to see it's staying power and what it's like after a few hours of role playing.

When I got this one I was very scared about trying it because of the Stargazer. Real Stargazers are pretty flowers but I hate the smell of lilies and Stargazers seem to be the worst. But at the Meet 'n' Sniff today I to try to someone's imp just in case it didn't work out for me I could swap a never been used bottle. And I must say this is a very nice scent and the rose and the stargazer don't come out and attack me like normal. I was vert surprised. I like this one a lot. So I think I'll keep her around and try her a few more times before I totally write her off and find a new home for her. Wearing it it turns into a nice soft amber-y vanilla very nice and soft, you and smell the rose but just as a background note.

I wanted to fall in love with this one, because I love bats. But I have to agree with malanna this blend ended up smelling like a dryer sheet on me. I couldn't pick out any of the notes or anything. Oh well this one will need to find a good home.

When I got this and sniffed it I got mostly the melon, and it was very juicey. That's the only word for it. On my skin the trypical fruits seem to come out storonger the pineapple, guava, mango, passion fruit, and papaya. I couldn't stop sniffing myself. Once it dried down it got this just nice over all fruit scent and made me want a mixed drink. I love Beth's fruit scents they work pretty well on me.

I put this one and it turned to something kinda soapy. Sadly Calliope will be needing to find a new home here shortly.

I bought this in the hope it would'nt be uber rose on me like a lot of the rose scents are. When I opened the bottle I could smell the rose and prayed that's not what it would be on me. On: a mix of scents that can't make up their mind what they want to be 15-45 minutes: Rose, fake rose old lady rose scent After 45: Dark, kinky, mysterious. I think it's the vanilla and ambergris and maybe the tonka. I honestly LOVE this one. A lot. It is not a scent I can wear when I am cold but i is a scent that makes me feel sexy after I get past the rose. I might even want more of it!

In the bottle this smells like a bright fruity scent, I can smell the pomegranat and the pares the most. Oooo that smells so goos. As soon at it hita my skin the gardenias seem to comes out. And just as with Honey Moon, gardenias smell uber funky on my. Ok I hope I get the fruity scent back. After about 45 minutes it mellows out and turns nice. But I don't think it's one that I'll be getting a bottle of. I think I'll pass the imp on as well.

Chaos Theory DCX (610?) In the bottle very light and sweet. Alomst fruity and maybe some cucumber in it as well. Kind of like walking outside in a garden in the sumer with a soft breeze going by. Wet: still very sweet with something sharp hiding just under all these sweets Five minutes after I put it on it turns almost smokey and powdery. At this point I don't like it and it almost gives me a headache. After fully dry the sweet fruity scent comes back but only softer and nicer. It drys ever well on me. If I can just stand it for the 45 minutse that it smells funky on me. I really like it I think I'll keep it but maybe swap out a few imps of it though because I don't see myself using the who 5ml..

First sniff: very Honey almost mead like. I just sat in the back of my friends call sniffing this one. Wearing it on me the flowers came out uber strong mainly the white gardenia. And it just wouldn't go away. That's all I could smell. So I gave it to annanda. glad it has a good new home.

... Flower Moon embodies the unrestrained bliss, energy and color of the season: a bouquet of vivid, sexy blooms… tulip, daffodil, violet, dewdrop, rhododendron, iris, daisy, and a mix of California wildflowers. I liked this one a lot. It wasn't too over powering of florals but yet you could tell what it was supposed to be. It remonds me of the time last year when Mat and I would take long late night drives in the woods here. This is so pretty I love it.

I got this one last week. And wen I opened it and sinffed it I was like something sweet and creamy, but totally different from Chaste Moon (which I love). I kept sniffing the bottle to see if I liked it and I really couldn't make up my mind. But I put it on that nigt because I was going out with friends. As it was wet I still wasn't sure if I liked it, but as it dryed it grew on me. It wasn't all the way dry as I got into my friends car and the first thing she said to me was "Wow you smell goo what are you wearing?" And through out dinner she kept sniffing and nuzzling me. And she told our other friend to sniff me. So that night I was being stiffed by beautiful women. That's a plus. But after it dried on me it was so nice and relaxing and as I was at work that night I cought wiffs of it on my and it would make me smile. I love this one.

I got this as a late birthday gift yesterday. And I knew this would be the one I put on first. I hopped into the card opened it up and sniffed deeply. Oh that's was nice. It was light and breezy, and slightly sweet. I didn't smell laundry detergent just light though. And nice. I might even have to get a 5ml. This would go nicely with my wedding dress but I couldn't get a 5ml in time.

I Love Beltane so I wanted this oil so bad. In the bottle it's vert pretty light floral, but not over powering. As soon as it his my skin it did some funky turned rotten thing. It smelled like rotten flowers on me. I wanted this one to be good. Hopefully it will find a good home.

I ordered this in hopes the leather would balance out the rose. Becaue a lot of the rose scrents on my stay uber rose. In the bottle it smells very rose with a smal faint hint of something hiddng the the background. Wet: It smells like this cheap rose oil that I used to wear in high school. It reminds me a lot of high school, but that's something I'm really looking for. As it drys the Rose it still over powering and no leather. I wanted this one to work as badly but all I got rose over powering Pagan book store cheap rose oil. Thi one will get swapped and find a good home.

Chaste Moon: This is what I was hoping for with Hellcat. This Smells exactly like one of my Chaos Theroy blends too. Oh I loved this one as soon as I opened the bottle. First Sniff, yummy it smells like I could eat it (but I didn't) As it dried down, it wasn't as much as my Chaso Theory, this one stayed buttery on my wuth the floral under notes. This one is so nice. and makes me want candy.

Storm Moon: For most of Beth's Ozone scents thay son't end up working on me. Both Storm, and Lightning turned very bad on me. So I was a little worried to get this one, but since I haven't missed a Lunar oil yet I wasnt' going to. And I am glad I did. In the bottle it's very clean, almost soap clean but not fully. After it drys down it calms down into a sweet floral, ozone, not the uber powerful ozone. But it still stays fresh and clean. I wore it to work and even after a 8.5 hour night of helping rude people, making cheap coffee and clean icky nasty things it still smelled fresh and Spring/Summer like. It reminds me of a nice rain fall here in Oregon. I love this one.

What the Jasmine and Vanilla blend is being discontinued.

Spellbound: I wasn't sure about this one at first. Because normally with the rose scents that's all you can smell on me. But I ove red musk so I gave it a try at first it smelled slightly like Scherezade that must be the musk. Only there was a hint of something sweeter in the backgrought. After it dryed the musk and rose seem to balance each other very nicely. I'm not sure if I'll get a 5ml but I know I'll be hanging on to the imp and ware it again.

I got this one specifically for my man. And on him it's dreamy. In the bottle it smells safe like a spring time in the forest. But on Matt it takes a darker turn and is deep and earthy, with a little bit of sprce underneather. Like the wolf stalking and lusting after Little Red Ridding Hood at night. Matt loves this scent and I love it on him. Out of all the scents he has this is his number once choise and is the one he wears most often.

Baba Yaga: In the bottle it smells slightly fruity and slightly floral. Wet the furtyness dies down but the floral notes come out. And starts to smell like the incense of the old Pagan store that use to be in the town that I loved to go to. And the scent sticks with me. I don't know if I like it enough to ger a bottle but it is a wonderful scent and I will keep the imp and wear it.

Scherezade: At first I wasn't sure about this scent asnormally I lean towards the sweet scents. And this one isn't sweet. But as soon as I tried it on I knew I needed a bigger bottle. On me the musk stands out the most but it's a soft musk. But there's sometthing that off sets the musk I think it's the saffron, because I don't know what saffron smells like. But this is the first perume that my fiance has stated that he really likes.

Bordello: As soon as I smelled this one I knew it was one that I needed a bigger botle of. In the bottle is smells like asweet almost berry candy. But it's not to overly powering sweet that it's sickly. As it drys on my skin a lot of the other notes come out and to balance the sweetness. Over all this is a scent that I would wear often and am glad I have more of than just an imp.

In the vial: Syrupy sweet, almost like the Strawberry Syrup at IHOP. But there’s something else under that syrup smell that I can’t quite put my finger on. Wet: The champagne comes out more on my skin. But still very sweet. Almost a bit too sweet. Drydown: As it fades down there’s something else that comes up pretty strong but it doesn’t smell like either Strawberry or champagne. It’s has a waxy bitter edge to it. But I’m not sure. Final Thoughts I had to keep sniffing my wrist to see if I liked it or not. And I’m still up in the air about this one. So I’m going to keep it for at least one more try a bit later and maybe I’ll late it better or at least know if I like it or not. It’s very nice scent all the way through, but I’m not sure if it’s for me. But my friend who tastes all the oils that I'm wearing and remember to bring to school with me says this one really doesn't taste that bad.

In the vial I found it very light and clean, I do think it has a hint of tea in there. I do like it but it reminds me a lot of Kumiho but not as warm. Wet It gets a lot more of a flower scent, but on me the tea is still rather strong. My skin seems to amp up the tea scent at least while it's wet. Drydown While it's drying it smells a lot like roses, but not the strong over powering ones. This is more like you are sitting on your porch drinking tea and the wind is blowing from the rose garden, a nice soft sent towards you. Until is settles down into a nice floral wisp of scent where I really can't pick out anything. They mingle together nicely. Final Thoughts This is a very light and fragile scent. As I said it reminds me of sitting on a porch on a nice spring day with a mild breeze blowing towards you and wafting the scents of the new season your way. I really like this one. I know I’ll keep an imp around at least if not even go and get a 5ml of it.

How could I not try this one rifgt away I mean it's got a lot of my favorite scents: musk, vanilla, cherry, honey, wine. So I got it as my only imp with my Hunter Moon order. Blood Kiss would have been my scent, it should have with all the vanilla, honey and cherry. But sadly on me it was nothing vetiver, to the point of headache for me. So it’s off to a new home for that one and I’ll just have to try Blood or Hollywood Babylon next. Because it would have been perfect if it weren't for the vetiver. Maybe Beth will come out with a scent that's Mush, Vanilla, Honey and Cherry. But until there I have to start away from Blood Kiss.
