  1. All I can say to this one is, holy aquatic!

For first try I put just a bit on to guage how I would like it. I'm glad I only dabbed, as those dabs seemed to be more then enough. It came out very very strongly aquatic on me, the sea breeze, and salt especially. After around an hour of wear, it calmed down and some of the other notes could be smelled.

Interesting scent, though I don't think it'll make my regular rotation.

  2. A nice light scent that I had almost forgotten about!

Sudha Segara is almost entirely ginger with the slight sweetness of honey, from wet application to drydown on me. It isn't an overpowering ginger, nor is it overpoweringly sweet from the honey or ambrosia. Just a gentle, calming bit of spicy.

  3. Right off the bat this scent is almost all sandalwood and myrrh, sweetened by rose.

Upon drydown I get more of the incense and benzoin, making it almost a sharper scent.

I'm going to have to try this one later...it's many notes are almost confusing me right now. I'm not sure yet if it's a keeper, or if it is too "perfumey" for myself.

    *shrug*

  4. Kuang Shi.

Upon application this is almost all mango on me. A definite fruity scent which reminds me of bags of dried tropical fruit that my dad eats.

After drying down for a while, the sandalwood makes its appearance toning down the fruit to a more subtle scent.

  5. I wanted to try this one badly and when Nevermore got an imp I had to try it out, even though I was really afraid of the cedar in it.

After putting it on and pondering on it for a while I can say, mmmm spicy!

Mostly the Bow and Crown smells of sage, leather and musk on me. A beautiful spiciness. The cedar is lurking there in the background, but not enough to make me smell like a piece of furniture.

    Verdict: Keeper.

  6. Mmmm.

Pine, and Juniper. Tree scents that actually like me (unlike that damned cedar!)

Underneath that smell is something almost mossy, i'm going to say that it is the musk.

It actually reminds me of this trail in the woods back at home during the fall time. Odd.

*puts Black Forest into keeper pile*

  7. Aizen-Myoo.

On my skin it is almost all yuzu, that beautiful grapefruit-y smell that I love. As it dries a little of the tea that is in there comes out.

This is one of the few scents that lasts well on me. Just ordered a 5ml of it so I can enjoy it more often :P

  8. Mmmm patchouli, ginger and rose is mostly what this smells like when dried on my skin.

Not as woodsy as I first expected, I think it's toned down by the rose and tonka. I'm impressed. A slightly sweet woodsy smell.

  9. After the girl told me about this one I was pretty excited to try it.

It started off quite nice on me, but as it dried it became....pepto bismol. It's a shame, as I was really looking forward to this one.

    *shrug* good ol' skin chemistry.

  10. In the bottle I smell mostly red wine.

On my skin...well let's just say this is one that didn't work out so well.

It ended up smelling like i'd bought a box of wine, drank it, then promptly threw up on my arm. No offense meant, just something in there didn't agree with my skin chemistry.

    Good idea, bad on me.

  11. Fresh and wet on my skin I smell mostly violets with some frankinsense and maybe cinnamon hiding somewhere in the background. That slight spicy sweetness is there somewhere.

After drying I get much more of the frankinscense with the violet fading into the background and the cinnamon coming out.

In the end Frankinscence + cinnamon = a dark spicy scent that I love.

  12. Dracul.

In the bottle I can certainly smell the orange, it almost smells like Grand Marnier to me...oddly.

On my skin dry it smells a little of mint, a little of orange, some tobacco and that clove. Possibly musk in the background.

A lovely enticing blend if I do say so.

  13. On me Omen is a wonderful mixture of Myrrh and patchouli.

I love it, that kind of woody-spiciness that smells good on my skin.

I haven't learned my notes well enough yet to know if i'm smelling the oakmoss as well, but I know a few of my other favorites also include it...

Conclusion: It's on the rotation for me!

  14. Today I recieved a gift in the form of trying on the King of Spades, and let me say ...mmmmm.

Dry on my skin it mostly smells of the fruity notes, blackberry and plum, with some vanilla in the background. In the bottle I could smell more of the woody tones and thought that is what would come out the strongest on my skin, but boy did it prove me wrong. Sweet and fruity, but not overpoweringly so.

    This one is a keeper!

  15. As nevermore has threatened bodily harm on me if I don't start reviewing the bagful of imps i've been trying on everyday, I figured I best get started!

    Port-Au- Prince

I was warned that this might be a bit sweet for my liking but after putting it and letting it sit for a few seconds, it is definitely more spicy then sweet for me.

When I first put it on, I get the hit of cherry and almond that it smells like in the bottle, but after drying on me for about 10 seconds its all cloves! Mmmm cloves.

One of my newfound favs methinks, loving ths spicyness, and the girl likes it better on me then on her. :P
