In the vial: Wet eucalyptus. On the skin: Still eucalyptus and lavender now. Something sweet, sugar-y popped there. Honestly, this is like Sleepy Moon for me; I'm sure I'll use this when I have insomnia and anxiety. It's very calming and soothing. Yay for a good find!
-
In the vial: strong cassia. A bit of the citrus but it's being over-powered. On the skin: Ouch! Burny. I had to wash it off, but before all I got was hardcore cassia. Not going to work at all for me.

My first Enraged annimal! In the vial: Cocoa, vanilla, and carmel. Promising! On the skin: There's the cherries... the cocoa stays for me, the cardamom starts popping on the dry down, and that's about it for this groundhog. It's okay but it just soaks right into my skin and vanishes. No seeing his shadow.

In the vial: almond, clove, orange peel. Kinda yummy. On the skin: I dunno what it is with neroli but it hates me. The sandalwood is warm and the orange peel is very strong on me. Unfortunately, this is the type of blend that would give me a headache. Bummer. (I wonder if the Sultan got a headache too?)

In the vial: whoa, lemony pennyroyal. On the skin: ugh burning smell. It's the black musk and pennyroyal that are killing me. Definite swap!
-
For me, it was pretty much the same as the original formulation, only MUCH MORE chocolate! (which is good!) Still love it, still enjoy it!

In the vial: All musky sex. YAY! On the skin: Yum. I have the musk, all sinister and sexy, leather, dust (which is surprising, since I'm allergic to it) and a woodsy smell. Honestly, this was my favorite of the Yule '06, completely by surprise! It's manly, but when I wear it, it's all musky and hot. Which is funny, since usually musk and I don't mix. Love Krampus!

The radiance and desolation of winter. In the vial: expensive men's cologne. On the skin: Pretty much the same, but with a heavy dolp of mint now. A drop of pine. I can't make out anything else.
-
In the vial: Apple trees in flower/fruit. Wow, Beth totally captured that in a bottle! On the skin: Still apple, but the almond is there as well. It's a yummy scent; if there ever was a foody-aquatic this would be it. Honestly, it surprised me. This was my second favorite of the Yule '06 scents that I tried. Very much a keeper!

In the vial: a woodsy aquatic? There's cypress and balsam. Probably the artemesia, too. On the skin: Well, smoke, musk and that cypress. It smells like burning wet trees. It's manly, to my nose, but a nice sent. The rosewood popped after drydown; not sure why I suddenly thought 'wormwood', but I did.

Chaos Theory #3 - XMV (#1015) In the vial: pine needles, fir trees, woods, resin. On the skin: Pretty much the same. A very "green" scent, manly. A whiff of something akin to aftershave in there, too. A bit of salt air. Kinda reminds me of the coast of the Pacific NW.

In the vial: Yowza! Plum! Delicious! On the skin: lilac and wine, all heady and warmed by the sun. It's a definitive version of 'purple in a bottle', that's for sure. The myrrh is yummy and the wisteria is certainly prominent. Lovely overall!
-
In the vial: deep dark resin. With a chemical component. Uh? On the skin: Well that's DEFINTELY patchouli and myrrh! Yowza. It's the pine that's throwing the resin scent. It's a dark scent but yet bright, if that makes any sense. The almond and clove came out during the drydown. Not for me, but a lovely scent!

In the vial: light, soft, powdery florals. On the skin: Plastic. Honestly, smells like one of my old My Little Pony toys. Still floral, very feminine. Bits of baby powder and lemon to me. Oh well. I can see why it's a meditation blend.
-
In the vial: Oh patchouli, why must you hate me? On the skin: well, lavender... very woodsy, somber. The orange pops hard, but the dang patchouli! Oh well.
-
In the vial: holy violets! On the skin: This is hardcore violets. There is practically nothing else to this. Okay I take that back, lilacs and iris are popping to mind. Yeah, violets. That sums this one up completely.
-
In the vial: citrusy sweetness On the skin: Most definitely a floral. Boo. There's a cloying sweetness, salty smoke and orangeness to this. It's not all that bad, but the floral undertones (paperwhites?) would destroy me.
-
Crushed herbs and sweet amber resin with a streak of patchouli, neroli and golden musk. In the vial: tangerines and freshly cut-into pumpkin. Wow, my mind is weird. On the skin: Still getting that pumpkin. It's citrus, as well. Very green, very clean, very girly. The patchouli is popping now and ruined it for me. Still can't believe the pumpkin smell... wild.
-
In the vial: sweet dirt. Damp moss. On the skin: Chocolate? Yummy. Oh yeah, chocolate. Weird. And dirt, fresh dirt when it's wet. Odd. Usually anything with dirt in it is bad on me. But I like this. Plesant surprise!
-
In the vial: Bitter herbs. On the skin: musky sweat. Well I guess I'm not surprised... Not me.
-
In the vial: bitterness... cloves and spice. On the skin: Now, I love cloves but this is... um... bitter. On my skin it starts to warm up and so-so about it. I have a "clove" scent I adore and while this is similar, there's a sweetness to the other that this doesn't have. This is sour, lemony. Wild. I dunno, I might keep it around just for backup. And to see if there's any magical effects from it.

I'm reviewing this out of an empty 5ml, so... In the bottle: Strong, sweet and spicy, very musky. What little there is left on my skin: It smells like a hippie store, all the incense. Sandalwood for sure. It's not something I'd honestly wear a day in my life. I can see, though, where this got its name. Very Middle Eastern in smell.
-
In the vial: red warmness, a bit of vanilla On the skin: the plum comes out, and the patchouli leaf. It's a womanly scent, heady and mysterious. I love the hint of pomegranate. Yummy!
-
In the vial: lemon-lime soda. Hrm? On the skin: Ok there's the ozone! It's very lime-y and the pine is coming out in the drydown. Like a forest in a rainstorm. It's more of a manly scent, to my nose. Similar to like aftershave, in a way. I like it, but I wouldn't wear it.
-
In the vial: lemon-rosemary burning! Ahh! Burns! Made my nose burn. I couldn't bring myself to test it on my skin. This is off to the swaps!
